Chinatown Hotel  

Good location

Difficult to go to this hotel .

Nothing... This was my 4th stay in this hotel and the worst experience ever. The only positive aspect is its location.

- Room was not cleaned at all, floor was dirty, bathroom (especially bath) was really dirty and a lot of small insects on the walls. - Room really small. I booked rooms before in this hotel and this one was the worst I ever seen. - Staff asked to leave deposit for the key - 1000bahts. This was our last day in Thailand, so I asked if I can leave only 500bahts (I didn't want to go back with Thai currency to Europe) but the strongly refused. Even that I paid for room in total on arrival! Is the room key realy worth 1000bahts?! As I said, I enjoyed previous visits in this hotel. But next time I will look for different accomodation.

This is our 3rd stay in this hotel... As per previous review: Great location in a heart of Chinatown. Easy access (by tuk-tuk for 60BHT) to all attractions and huge selection of restaurants just outside the hotel. Very friendly and helpfull staff. WiFi in the room!

Nice room, good bed, friendly helpfull staff, in the centre of Chinatown

Breakfast was okay, but not great, things not refilld

The staff were very good, helpful and friendly. My room was very nice (twin beds), hot water kettle was good to have.

My parents room was same price but not as nice as my room.(1,300bt) per night.

for our purposes the location was very good. Price was very fair. Clean room.

Chinatown is a very dirty and smelly area. Street food available. A good restaurant is hard to find. Neither sky train or metro station within walking distance.

Friendly, helpful staff. Relatively close to a pier, the railway station and the nearby mrt station.

Noise insulation is absent. You can hear people talking further the corridor as there were no room door at all. There was a family with children who liked to scream and shout while running back and forth along the corridor early in the morning. I had to wake up with them. :( Yaowarat road is very crowded and often has heavy traffic congestion.

Hotel has just updated most rooms. Staff are good and very helpful.

The updated rooms along with the increase in price is just too much for very basic upgrade that just is not finished. The mini bar is a waste of time. Thailand is a very hot country and its nice to come back to your room and have nice ice cold beer or coke from the mini bar. The problem is when the key is not in the door slote the electric is off to the fridge so by the time the beer is cold you have gone to sleep. That is if you can sleep with the old noisy fridge. Bathrooms not touched in the update. Beds now hard as rocks. Pillows like bricks. Stayed here lots of times but think this was the last.

Food places are very close.

The environment is not great around hotel. Facilitates/decor are old and cheaply looking. Lack of the basic facilities, tooth brush & paste. Only worth maybe 2/3 of the money we paid. Later on we find a 4-star hotel was even cheaper than this.

Good Location and Easy to find good foods

Nothing Overall good.

In the middle of Chinatown district itself, nice and tidy rooms, big enough and beds are pretty good as well. We could checkout one hour late without extra costs and leave our bags their untill the evening.

We personally thought Chinatown is not the best place to stay if you go to Bangkok, because the smog is really present and it just doesn't feel healthy to walk around there. But if you just want to experience Chinatown (like we didi) it is ok to stay there for one night, because the hotel itself is good, so nothing negative about that.

Good location for shopping of specific products and low room price.

No car parking space. Difficulties to alight from taxi infront of hotel.

The Hotel has basic facilities but is clean and the staff are helpful, a fair price hotel in the heart of Chinatown. Well worth a couple of nights as it is nothing like the rest of Bangkok...

It is a simple but beautiful small place. It is very quiet and close to the centre. Good value for money.

L'hotel commene à vieillir et néçessiterait une remise à neuf , en particulier la salle de bains.

位置好，员工会中文，服务态度不错。

空调太吵，一晚都没睡。不能调节温度，太冷了。

就在曼谷中国城大街上，楼下一条街都是小吃。

酒店设施较为陈旧。

只有地段好

房间很差，还有蚂蚁，根本不能呆带吃的，老公只是喝了瓶饮料盖子没盖早上起来全是蚂蚁我晕死，而且这个价格- 说实话有点不值，房间很旧，啥也没有，热水壶也没有，送的所谓的两瓶水是玻璃瓶的，我估计瓶子肯定是再利用- 的就是装个一次性的盖子而已，冰箱不冷的，两瓶塑料瓶等我矿泉水是收费的，可想而知玻璃瓶肯定是反复利用的- ，空调么声音很大的，诶，跟我前一天住的150比差多了，早知道我情愿住原来的酒店搭车也无所谓的，反正一- 点都不好

La situation de l'hôtel, en plein chinatown, très agréable, surtout le soir, pour aller manger dans les night market, où on mange très bien. A 10 mn à pieds de la gare et du métro. Chambres très agréables, baignoire, frigo, clim et coin bureau bien éclairé, idéal pour tenir son blog de voyage :-) Et même un parapluie !

Aucune vue depuis la chambre, mais bon il suffit de sortir :-)
