The air conditioner's filter in Room Superior 1 was full of dust and had not been cleaned for ages…
The staff is polite but distant.
They charged us the last two nights as Deluxe rooms while we had stayed in the "superior" rooms (the cheapest) by mistake. When I noticed an hour later, the receptionist apologized and cancelled the payment.
On first sight the hotel looks beautiful and very peaceful but they gave us a very dark and stuffy room while I had specified in the email that we wanted a room with a lot of light. We complained and the manager was kind enough to change us of room provided we were willing to pay an extra 500B per night (for upgrade) and we were ready to change room every other day. It sounded a good deal. So we spent two nights in Villa 1 (beautiful, we liked it), on night in Deluxe 1 (amazing room with a view on the temple. we absolutely loved it), 2 nights in Deluxe G8 (stuffy and noisy, view on parking), 2 nights in Superior 1 (the original room that we had booked - very dark, too close to reception, office and restaurant but quite at night).
You can get a great stay if you book Villa 1, Deluxe 1 and a very disappointing experience if you book Deluxe G6, G7, G8, G9 (the most expensive rooms).
