Quiet, clean with tropical surroundings. A good Gym for thai standards.

Not suited for people with walking difficulties as the hotel is built on a hillside so there is many steps around the resort with no lifts installed. Nanai road location is a fair distance to the beach and main shopping centre, best to hire a motorbike. The standard room had huge gaps around the patio doors which was an invitation for insects! The Delux rooms are worth the extra payment.

Club bamboo is a nicely structured hotel, well positioned against a mountain that gives the resort an interesting character. The hotel is not too big and staff recognises you after a day or so. It gives that personal touch, so often absent in big hotels. The hotel rents out scooters and with that mode of transport everything (including the beach) is very accessible. The wide range of different accommodations will fit any budget.

I personally found Club Bamboo exceptional value and both the managers (Toy and also the gentleman who spoke perfect English too which was useful when askingg for advise on where to find places ) As well as both of them being helpful and accomodating , the rest of the staff were too . It was ideal for me as it had a nice pool (although not huge) but also an adequate gym .I didnt try the spa treatments so cant comment on them but the food was very good too . The hotel was located at the Karon Beach end of Patong and thus far enough away from the rather loud Bangla Road but there was a courtsey bus for drop off and collection during the day for a few minute drive to drive both to the centre of Patong and also the beach although I hired a motorbike for £4 a day as I wanted to see more of the island and other beaches but often remained by the pool area which comfy sunbeds , complimentary towels and I used the restaurant for lunch which was reasonably priced. For me I had an older type laptop so my WI-FI didnt connect but my phone had no problems connecting although there is an internet PC to use at a very minimum cost . I would def recommend Club Bamboo and would be booking again if I returned to the Patong area as it is very good value for money and I only initially booked for 2 days but extended this for an additional week but advisable to book on line to secure the most competitive price. I stayed in one of the bungalows but the rooms were just as appealing . In fact my accomodation was large enough for 3 despite only me staying there.

For the price i paid it was a bargain. Nice deluxe room. Spacey and clean. Nice bathroom. Air condition worked perfectly. Restaurant, spa and nice pool. A 20min walk to the beach. But anyway it's better to rent a scooter. Good 3 star standard.

It is very nice hotel if u want relaxation in Thai nature it met my needs in simple lovely quite Hotel for my Honeymoon Sure I'll go there if I go to Puckett next time.

Worst thing that the staff can't speak English well, once we want to order from the restaurant, they couldn't understand us and close the line suddenly, but when we made a complaint , the response was fast and they apologize to us.

verry poor choice of hotel

Breakfast was good. The price was good too, allthough we did not get what we thought we booked.

Presentation of de luxe-room we booked: "Club Bamboo has a beautyful wiew to the Patong bay, to the swimmingpool, ore to the garden." .That was one of the reasons, we chose this hotel. . But: We got a wiew to a messy backyard where was a dirty puddle .Our room was not de luxe at all but standard room instead .Those furnitures wer worn out badly..The handrail of the balcony was loose so you could not lean on it. The bathroom was dicusting. We complained and after one night they gave us a room with a wiew to the pool. They said that from this hotel there is no wiew to Patong bay.....In de luxe -room belonged a sofa too but in that room there was no sofa....Balcony therefore was big. That was good,allthoug we did not spend there much time because of moskitos wich came from the garden in sunsets and mornigs too. We discovered later that there is another New Club Bamboo on the other side of Patong and they have joined information and pictures too,from that other hotel to this hotel we booked.Missleading information allso. We did not get slippers, allthough the presentation promissed that and in the end of our holiday cleeninglady forgot to give us new bathropes wich allso belong to de luxe -room. We were very disappointed because we did not get what we expected but we did not cancelled our reservation because we read from here that the hotel refused to return rest of the money, when someone tried to cancel the resrevation after seeing their room.

Very friendly and helpful staff, Everything went smooth, earls check-in was no problem. They had transportation from the Hotel to the beach. I tried transportation and walk, it took only 10 minutes to walk and it was easy to find the way. Must stay if you sant to stay in Patong and want to be near to the nightlife but want some privacy and not to much nois during the night, It is Patong !! As Mention before really genuin and friendly staff, I Will stay here next time !

The location is good.

The hotel needs substantial maintenance. I had to change room 3 times but then I realized that it was simply not possible to get a room free of problems. In the first room I could not sleep because of a weird noise caused by the toilet, in the second room I could not sleep because of construction works just outside the room, in the third room the sink was leaking water directly on the floor, I asked to fix it 4 days in a row but the engineer was not able to do it.
