For £17 a night and looking at the reviews I expected a fair level of comfort, but I couldn't have been more wrong.
-Blood and urine stained sheets and pillow cases even after I'd asked for them to be changed, the bed linen also had an overwhelming damp odour.
-The dirtiest bathroom I have had since travelling for 2 months in SE Asia, a bare cement floor, cold shower, no soap and every horizontal surface was covered in lizard droppings.
-No ac, no tv, only one power point etc. I want everyone to understand that you get a bed, four walls, a fan and a cold tap for your £17 a night.
-A very expensive menu, which is fine but expect little more than a child's portion.
-A dog that seems to wander in and out of the kitchen while your food is being prepared, but a lovely friendly dog never the less.
-We had lizards in our room constantly, and were informed not to have food in the room as it would attract pests!
-As I checked in I was also told that my card had declined, meaning they had tried to charge me before I had even arrived at the resort. It soon became obvious that they may be in the habit of charging people so they had no choice but to stay.
My main disappointment is with the ridiculous reviews that have been placed for this resort, it's because of these reviews that me and my girlfriend experienced the worst two nights of our whole holiday (2 months). If you want to brave it then be my guest, but don't say that I didn't warn you
I've been debating whether to right this review as I felt it may sound very harsh, I haven't been disgruntled by staff or have no vendetta, but honestly I am upset by the people who have reviewed this place with such high regard. I must say the manager JT was friendly and very helpful and the staff in general were trying. The beach was lovely and made good snorkelling.
