Unethical business practices by changing prices on a prebooked room. Our only option halfway thru our stay was to pay more or leave in 10 minutes. Front desk not helpful. Wouldn't allow us to use reception/information phone to make a local call for a mixup with a prebooked excursion, resulting in losing our money for the excursion. If front desk doesn't want to help you, they "suddenly" don't speak English. The bellhop came to help us after he observed the front desks attitude.
Great location, comfortable rooms. Stayed here at the beginning and end of our Thailand trip. At the beginning of our trip we had a good experience, we booked 2 nights at the end of our trip, and they only allowed us to pay for one night instead of both. Upon checkin, they said to pay for the 2nd night tomorrow, again not letting us pay. The second morning when we went to pay, they raised the price for our room, saying new prices. When we told them that we wanted to prepay both nights previously, they wouldn't let us and didn't care. Bottom line is that they knew full well that they intended to raise the prices and that is the reason they wouldn't allow us to prepay this full stay.
