De Chai The Colonial Hotel    

●The location of the hotel is between sunday market and night bazaar and close to 7/11. ●the staff are very welcome and helpfull. And I recommand to do your tour through the hotel. ●

● maybe the breakfast especially with all foods mixed with pork meat.

I forgot my watch in bathroom, for finding had big support by hotel staffs, its end up on they sent it to my address. tkx, again!

No comfortable chair in room

It looked like a guest house rather than a hotel. Priced very high compared for that standard if hotel. Do not have any power backup. Was out of electricity for more than 2 hours

Pool was too cold. They didn't pick us up from the airport when they said they would.

Pool is a little small Breakfast is good, but not great For some reason, this time there were no face-cloths for any of my three days staying there. Strange

We loved the interior design and thai accents. Very modern and sleek rooms.

Annoying mosquitoes

This hotel was gorgeous!! I stumbled upon it on booking.com and I was lucky I did because it was beautiful. The website was tricky to find (www.dechaihotel.com). Fantastic location. 5 minute walk from the main gate and 10 -15 minutes walk to the Night Bazaar. The tuk tuk ride from the Bazaar to the hotel was about 5 minutes and only 80 baht which at present is $2aud. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. It was so lovely.

Not to far from the night market and several cooking schools which we enjoyed

The pool is very poor don't expect to relax in comfort also the rooms at the front are noisy from the tuk tuks and delivers

Very large rooms. Great location, close to everything, but down a side street. Very modern. Windows could be opened.

Extremely noisy air conditioner. Couldn't keep it on at night as too load to sleep. Hotel advertised and had in their brochure that there was a roof top gym. No such thing exists.

Polite and helpful staff. Rooms are excellent value for money. The breakfast was satisfactory. Off the beaten track as such. I would definitely return

Room was huge and beautifully decoratedthe bath wonderful! Location was super, staff very friendly and helpfull.

Hotel modern with style, bath room with sliding doors gives you a large space. Very friendly staff. I had a health problem, someone to us to the hospital for a check up and spent the all day helping us. Good situation half way to the old city and the night market. I would stay here again.

Nothing to talk about

Location ok but not perfect. Staff level of english not strong but this is the same in all Thailand. Swiming pool cold not usuable. Dinner in the restaurant : the staff has no experience in wine serving and attitude. The waiter even he was very nivce but staring at me all the time I was eating.

We found De Chai to be in an excellent location for walking around Chiang Mai, loved the room (modern, beautifully designed), liked the smaller size of this hotel, and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was also very good! Would definitely recommend.

Th hotels is in a small-hidden alleyway, close to a major road, but difficult to find with no specific directions given.

The stay could not have been any better than it was. The room was fantastic and the staff were excellent every day especially the staff on reception. I feel we will visit chiang mai again and will not hesitate again in staying at your hotel. Thank you or a lovely stay in your city
