Score from 97 reviews Wonderful
Great location, set back from the busy-ness and noises of the city. Also, breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful. Staff were very helpful in arranging transportation and tours.
The best staff we encountered on our trip. Peaceful, relaxing location but on the edge of town. Fabulous restaurants along the river (100 Baht Tuk Tuk ride). This area has so much to do and see. Authentic Thailand
great location close to restaurants and shops
Pretentious , over priced. Bad attitude from staff.
Nice hotel, super staff and great location. Very good restaurant and excellent breakfast.
Disappointed with size of room and pool. Hotel looked pretty tired
The location of hotel was great, close to markets and resturants. Breakfast buffet was very good. Wifi service was good
We booked rather late for the Flower Festival weekend, and according to Booking.com, there were only four hotels in Chiang Mai that had rooms available and that met our criteria. So we didn't have much choice. We made our reservations and hoped for the best. We were more than satisfied. Our stay at De Naga was wonderful in every way, and we heartily recommend this hotel!
The night I checked in the main dining room was not open at 8:00 pm for some reason. I was directed to the casual dining space on the street. The food was ok.
The property was very striking with gorgeous artwork scattered throughout the hotel. The staff were very well informed and helpful. The breakfast was very good.
I didn't like that our stay wasn't longer
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and the bed was the most comfortable out of all the many hotels we stayed at on our month long trip
highter price for thai
We arrived on Dec. 24th, an evening in which the hotel was serving a barbeque dinner. We did not request, want, or eat the dinner, but were forced to pay $71.75 each for the meal!
The staff is very friendly, and most helpful. When I travel outside the USA, I want a hotel which reflects the country in which I am staying. With the De Naga, you know you are in Thailand, not Boston, Chicago or Dallas. The decor throughout the hotel in Thai.
as a very minor point, I dislike the wifi system where you need to enter log-in details every time you reconnect to the network. very minor inconvenience.
superb location excellent staff good breakfast
Friendly staff, small but pleasant pool area, located in the heart of Chaing Mai
Hotel had an excellent breakfast choice with good service. Location was really good for exploring the old city and the night markets, all within easy walking distance. Sunday walking market was a few minutes from hotel. Our room was very clean and although close to busy markets, it was quiet and felt secluded.
Swimming pool small, cold & dingy. Wifi very poor/non-existent in room but not quite so bad in reception area
Very friendly & helpful staff. Excellent breakfast.
Comfortable environment, attentive service. Nice smile
Tiny pool, no gym
Style of the hotel Helpful staff Good breakfast
Need to show prices including taxes as confusing when presented with food/bar bill.
Rooms are beautifully designed and the biggest bed I've ever seen. Staff were so friendly and helpful and the public areas were also stunning. Spa massage also recommended. Hotel is very close to Thae Pae gate and Night Market, yet still quiet in the rooms.
Nothing, our entire stay was perfect.
The staff were so lovely. They could not have done more to help. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a free dinner during out stay for their celebration. This was very good.
Close to all the action
Check in was a breeze with the friendly and helpful staff. They promptly arranged for a change of our room after they ascertained that the toilet flush was not working. Breakfast was delicious too! Overall a very pleasant stay.
Friendly and courteous staff. The hotel is well designed - inside the wall, but very quiet. The pool is adequate for a small hotel in Chiang Mai.
Room cleaning late at our arrival.
Good Staff service Nice Breakfast
The mattress was too hard, like cardboard. I can sleep anywhere throughout the night, but I woke every two hours with this mattress. Also, although I informed the staff three times, the water from the shower was a brown murky colour and I wasn't happy with it. I couldn't at first work out if it was just the colour of the water in Chiang Mai, but compared to my friends room - where the water was clear and in the same hotel - I'm thinking it was the plumbing
The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent and really could not be bettered. The facilities were very good.
This hotel is too expensive compare to nearby hotel The food is expensive as well. Even spa is expensive.
Friendly staff and helpfull
