This is a small boutique hotel if you want to relax this is the place
small, and beautiful decorate. staffs were very helpful. my 4 years old daughter got sick and throw up in the room many times, but all the staffs help clean the room and provide everything i asked with smile!
room make up was a little bit too slow.
Like almost everything about the hotel. Feel very peaceful, comfortable and relax for just staying in the resort, no need to go out. Good taste of restaurant food, nice attitude and pretty smile for every staff, beautiful garden and swimming pool.
Location if you want to go out instead of staying in the resort, suggest to rent a car and drive by yourself.
Quiet, peaceful, nice scenery... Cool swimming pool with sea view.... Room & toilet very big...
There were bedbug bites... Was bitten with lots of red spots on my hands & legs... Far from city area, need to take shuttle bus or have own transport to night market.
Relaxing and nice gardens
There's no spa
Great secluded setting. Bungalow was fantastic with direct access to the pool and beach just feet away, giving magnificent view of the sunrise over the bay. Service was outstanding from the superb, friendly staff. Great food.
It is nice hotel with private beach
It is litle par from Hoa hin but the hotel has free shatel few time a day
The hotel and rooms Respectful quality guests Quality of food Complete chill out
The service in the restaurant can be slow and inaccurate in ordering. Absence of professional restaurant manager to co-ordinate service
Great staff, food and location
Stay wasn't long enough!!
- Nice buildings and rooms (Thailand King V's era) - Sea breeze everywhere in the hotel - Nice and clean pool - Very polite and welcoming staffs from front desk to gardeners
- The room that we booked via Booking was at the very end of the corridor and the view from the balcony was blocked by a pool villa.
The peacefulness and not crowded.
Zero facilities and activities in this hotel. One and Only restaurant that do not have much varieties. Infested with mosquito and no effort was made to ensure that guest are not affect by mosquito. The management may think is normal but I had seen dengue fever even back in Singapore. The shuttle services schedule is not friendly... Last shuttle leaving from hotel to clock tower is 1800 and the last service from clock tower back to hotel is 1830. And the night market starts at 1800hrs. So most of the time I spend on travel taxi or tuk tuk that cost me 300 baht every trip back . So base on the room charges which I pay for 19000 baht plus taxi fare, I might as well stay in Hilton or others that has activities and near to night market. Yes is a very peaceful and no disturbance as the guest are limited. Not sure the objectives of this "resort" when there are nothing to offer except the rooms and ambience. TV program are so limited that only universal and sfly channel that I could understand and there is no in house TV program... Since is so bored. So either I go for a swim or a tan or stay in the room to maximize the usage of the room. Anyway will skip this hotel if I will to visit hua hin again.
A place for who search for serenity. Rooms are elegant and lovely. Gives you better feeling than you may see from the website other traveller's photos. Staffs are extremely friendly and helpful.
Have to take taxi to downtown Hua Hin (night market). Food is only average.
We like the ambiance and deco of the hotel- it was very peaceful and quiet. Our room was very spacious with a large patio, and offered a lovely view overlooking the pool onto the sea. We had a very enjoyable stay.
The room didn't come with international power plug/ socket, and when we asked for an adaptor we were told that there was none available.
front staffs were so nice and helpful very clean apartment very quiet comfort bed
a bit far away from everywhere
Execellent service and good facility.
Not easy to be found as its location is hide in the garden.
too small, not enough space..pool also vert small..and difficult to walk to the beach. restaurant serving food too slow, and only one small restaurant
The staff are very friendly. And the food is very good. The atmosphere are very nice there, you do relax there. They have 3 swimming pools, nearby the sea. And a big tree is situated in the middle of the hotel area on the sun deck so you can get some shadow. (The hotel/bungalows is built around the old tree). The hotel offers free shuttle downtown Hua Hin (back and forth) several times a day. We stayed in a big room, with a big enough balcony, too.
The Room is spacious
The pool is a little bit small. The taste of complimentary coffee in the room is poor.
villa is ok
to far from center
The Devasom is a really beautiful hotel with luxurious, spacious and comfortable rooms, and everything is immaculately serviced. The staff are amazingly attentive, seeing to whatever you request with a smile. there is a free shuttle service (3x daily) and a DVD and book collection, which were great little extras.
Not the hotels fault, but its location is far from any action in town, like the outstanding night market. The hotel does however provide a free shuttle service to take you into town three times a day, which helps. A hotel of this calibre should have a gym. These are very minor criticisms of an outstanding hotel.
I don't usually write review for hotels or resorts but I find this one worth my while. The resort gives us a sense of tranquility and nature and we have no problem at all for sleeping during our stay. The food at restaurant is very nice, though a bit expensive from Thai standard, and serves at most time. Staff smile a lot and caters our need in a efficiently and friendly manner. The outdoor pool is nothing comparable to those in Sheraton or Hilton but very comfy for a relaxing swim. I particularly like the big bathtub & terrace in our room for a refreshing bath or rest.
The location is a bit tricky as no available path to surrounding areas. We had to walk alongside highway to Sheraton one night when the beach path became unavailable by the high tide. There is no independent massage or spa room available so massage has to be done at our own room.
- Very clean. - Very comfortable and beautiful rooms: spacious, good air-conditioning, bright, nicely designed. - Great staff - speak english, very helpful. - Quiet and peaceful location, on clean sea shore. - Nice pool. - Superb food - breakfast is great, don't miss it, happy hour with good cocktails, very nice dinner (not cheap, though, by Thailand prices).
- wi fi is very slow, connection breaks - location is a bit problematic - to get to the city you need to take a taxi (which is quite expensive from the hotel), or wait for hotel's shuttle - only 3 times a day to the city, and twice a day back from the city - the bathtub is very nice, but the faucets are not comfortable and shaky - cooking classes are two days a week (should be considered if you are planning to go) - no spa at the hotel itself, you have to go elsewhere (by taxi)
Local staff were so eager to help and really sweet. English not great with all but it didn't matter. Thai food a highlight - fresh and delicious. The location is calm, peaceful and beautiful. A great place to recharge.
Old fashioned bath tub - looks great, but you have to keep looking at it as it is in the room!
The room size and the panoramic view and the sea view and first time I got free mini bar. Its tidy and clean hotel.
Wifi was very week. And there is no variety of food. Mostly pork mix with everything, Location is very good for how likes the sea and who is coming for honey moon.but its far away from the city approx 15min by car. There is no intertainment. The room service dinning is closing 23:00 which is not good for night snacks.
The staff are really helpful and friendly. They were kind enough to upgrade my "un-seaview suite" into a villa - with restricted view.
The corner "seaview suite" on the second floor can't see any seaview whatsoever. Be ware of them!
