We stay at dolphin for 2 nights on our way from bkk to Phuket. We like this place and it's realy good for family with children. High chairs for childrens at the restaurant, not deep pool with water slope. Staff is friendly and resort is clear. The beach is quiet and peaceful. Not deep sea. You really have to go a while to get to the deep. It's not easy to find the resort by yourself. We came by our own car and has a little problem with it. Where is no shops nearby. Only minimart at resort. The car is recommended if you want to go to tesco or to nearest place of interest.

Food was well-priced and of good standard to cater to all palates. Food very quick to table. Friendly atmosphere due to nice guests in famiy groups. Warer slide very popular with children Massage on beach Thai price and good Trip to canoe bird-watching area was stunning, not publicised enough by reception! Industrial jam, no selection Staff need to improve English a bit Better selection of dvd to rent Some music in evening, with dinner, woud be a bonus Resort off-peak, but beach full of refuse, dirty Not much going on around hotel, so could be a bit boring for too many nights! No bar area or coffee time area to have coffee/drink in evening, apart from restaurant ables. Reception bit disorganised poor communication when booking activity.

We were travelling with 2 toddlers, and it was perfect for us in every way. The resort was able to arrange everything for us, from transport to local outings to all meals. There are a number of local restaurants as well, but the food at the resort was excellent so we always ate there. The on-site massages and manicure pedicure services were also great. Next time we go we'll stay at one of the two-bedroom apartments so we have a bit more room. :) It's in a sleepy area and filled with families--perfect for us, but I wouldn't recommend it to singles or child-free couples.

Lage am menschenleeren Strand. Es ist zwar eine Strasse zwischen Hotel und Meer aber die ist fast nie befahren also fuehlt es sich an wie direkt am Meer. Die Massagen waren einzigartig und fuer Familien ist das Hotel ideal. Internet nur im Restaurant, sonst zu teuer im Verhaeltnis zum Zimmerpreis.

Das Hotel lliegt direkt am Strand. Man muss nur eine wenig befahrene Straße überqueren. Es liegt ruhig. Restaurants und der kleine Ort sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Das Dolphin Bay ist gut für Familien mit Kindern (auch kleinen) ausgelegt: kindergerechtes europäisches Essen im Restaurant, Hochstühle, Fahrradverleih mit Kindersitzen, zwei Pools einer mit Rutsche, Schaukel .... Das Essen ist gut, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Auf europäische Gaumen wird Rücksicht genommen. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist in Anbetracht des geringen Preises (150 Baht) einmalig. Normalerweise gibt es zu dem Preis meist nur "american Breakfast". Das Hotel entspricht den 3 Sternen und ist den bezahlten Preis aus unserer Sicht wert, 5 Sterne Luxus kann man aber nicht erwarten. Das Zustellbett für Kinder ist eine massive Matratze auf dem Boden. Der Ort ist für einen ruhigen Urlaub sehr zu empfehlen, er ist ursprünglich und nicht überlaufen. Wenn man Trubel möchte, kann man einen Ausflug nach Hua Hin unternehmen. Wir haben einen Ausflug zur vorgelagerten Affeninsel gemacht. Das Boot wird vom Hotel organisiert, es ist ein echtes Fischerboot und kein Touristennepp. Auf der Insel waren wir dann ganz alleine. Am Hotel gab es nichts auszusetzen, wie immer nur an einzelnen Gästen: Liegestühle reservieren und den ganzen Tag nicht kommen .... Da kann man sich aber auch selbst helfen.
