it's look like a home far away form home =) very cozy and comfort with a large kitchen (you can make coffee, tea, toasts for free) very clean and safe. the owner, Gina, gave advises about the city and provided good maps
the location is not so good, just wall to wall to the school. and it's quite far (20 minutes on foot) from the local (Sophet) market and night life. so it's very quite and dark in the evening. the price to rent the bicycles is higher then near the street (just look around)
Nice staff! Nice atmosphere!
Dozy House is in an excellent location and all the main temples are reachable on foot. Very close to the saturday and sunday night market. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
We liked Chiang Mai very much!
Very disappointed! We stayed at Dozy House for 6 nights. During our entire stay our room wasn˙t cleaned up even once. They do not change towels or provide toilet paper and they do not take out the trash! When we asked to clean up our room, staff only took our dirty towels and did not provide us clean towels or anything else. Floor in the bedroom is very dirty! Bathroom is muddy and full of hair on the floor. Thin walls! You can hear everything trough the door and walls. Not possible to sleep.Staff is very unprofessional and rude. They just ignored us when we asked for anything. Internet is not working in the room. Location is not good at all. Far from everything worth to see, especially Night Market area which is situated on 50 minutes walking distance from Dozy House. Also, it wasn˙t easy to find this place, even Taxi driver did not know to find it, so he left us on the main road and we end up looking for Dozy House for more than 2 hours. All in all, during our two month trip trough Thailand this is definitely the worst place we stayed. Avoid this place!
Like Home..Gina and your husbad are great!!
Nothing everythings was amazing!!
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was bright and cheerful and comfortable. There was a kitchen with fridge, cooking facilities and free tea and toast. There were a couple of deck chairs at the entrance where you could enjoy the sun. It was possible to meet other people. The staff arranged transfers and trips.
The curtains allowed too much light in. Perhaps bring something to cover them.
Very friendly and helpful staff, good location, very clean and nice rooms.
Amazing staff, the rooms are spotless and the beds and blankets are super cozy.
If I had to say anything, it would be that it was quite noisy in the mornings depending on what room you are in and the day of the week. (There is a school beside it). But it's great value and super comfy.
The host... She ia the best, super helpfull...
Clean Hot water in the shower Friendly owner
No parking space
Lovely hostel Good value for money Lovey staff We couldn't check in until 2pm and arrived at 7.30 am they let us shower in the staff accommodation and store out bags until check in Would definitely recommend and stay again if in Chiang mai
The staff were really wonderful - they really cared for us when my boyfriend needed to go to the hospital, and they gave so much advice and tips.
The location is a little bit far out but we'd highly recommend Dozy House!
Good size clean room with hot shower
Location is a bit out of the way - it's fine if you don't mind walking everywhere.
Everything about this guesthouse was amazing. We stayed for 5 nights. Gina the owner is the lovliest person ever. Good sized rooms. Good showers. Good location away from all the hustle and bustle but still near enought to walk to all places in the old city. Absolutly loved it here and would definately book again
The guesthouse is very well located inside the old town, walking distance to many spots such as Sunday Night Market and temples. The room is spacious and cozy, with plenty of space for luggage. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help you with taxi, tours, bike rental, tickets etc.
It's a 4 story building with no elevator. If you have big luggages (as we had), ask for a low floor room.
I loved Dozy house and I was really sad to leave. The building is new, super clean and right in the old town. Gina and her staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful.Thank you so much, you made my holiday even more special and hopefully I'll be back soon.
The rooms are very big. The people working there are very kind.
It is more a guesthouse than a hotel. A bit noisy.
The owner represents the real smile of Asia. She is absolutely sweet and helpfull. She made me feel like home.
It is more a guesthouse than a hotel. Mornings it is very noisy beause of the school nearby: the children are loud, they sing the national hym and the teachers teach with microphone. It was a pity not to understand to repear general concepts of my school years. But anyway I was very happy here.
