Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket    

Wonderful location and very relaxing hotel.

Close to the beach, no traffic around the hotel, Club recommended.

Internetd connectivity was very poor in the room. Better in the lobyy and surprisingly at the beach.

The location was beautiful but exclusive to the point where we felt totally removed from the local people.

We found the cost of transport high. Each trip to another beach or town cost us 1,400 Baht.

Staff there is great, helpful and cheerful

The room (rm# 196) is quite old, gets a feeling of dampliness and has a stuffy smell.

Amazing service and good value.

Felt too isolated from Thai culture.

The location as well as the facilities offered by the hotel.

On our first of 3 nights, we were given a garden-level room (#167) which turned out to be disastrous because of the high humidity level in the room causing the floor to be wet and the bedsheets to be humid and smelly. We were told to keep the A/C at 20C and that the humidity would go away. On the flip side of this, the room was very cold. We were given a new room the day after after our asking, not from the hotel own initiative. We got # 242 one floor above #167 and all was ok for the rest of our stay. Another shortcoming is the service and quality of the waiting staff at the Casurina beach restaurant where we went on our first night. My advice to all future dwellers at Dusit Laguna: Avoid the ground level rooms.

Saff at the recetion is helpful and friendly.

Swimming pool is nice but the staff is bad. Service that they provide is really disappointing. Room is too small.

Nice rooms and close to beach. Clean and breakfast was very good.

They should have frequent shuttle bus to Phuket city. Limited restaraunts and should have western and Asian food.

Room too noisy, no evening entertainment, food expensive for what you get, expensive airport transfer service, pool looks dated and over crowded. Beach full of hawkers and not exclusive to hotel and no swimming in sea.

Nice room. Staffs are very nice. I like the beach and the lake. The shuttle boat is really nice.

It is too humid in the room. Maybe it's because my room is at ground floor.

The position !!! laguna complex is tip top .

Raining heaverly at night and parked in staff bay !!!!!!! got blocked in the next day ? childish !!!! but thats thailand I know I live here ? land of smile ?

Our stay at the hotel was awesome . The rooms are clean, hotel staff were helpful and friendly and nice ambience within hotel surrounding . The only setback was it was raining consecutively during our stay as it is the monsoon season as we were told.

Maybe a little bit "tired" and needs upgrade. Beach Bar & Restaurant closed and also the Thai Restuarant closed for renovation but we only found out about this when we arrived at the hotel. Should be notified on the website beforehand because this can impact whether we choose the hotel or not.

We stayed here after getting engaged last year (2011) in Bangkok and had such a wonderful time we returned in March 2012 to get married at the resort. The staff are exceptional and will do everything possible to make your stay perfect - nothing is too much trouble! If you like a resort where you can just relax and unwind then I would highly recommend the Dusit.

Очень назойливый персонал - постоянно стучатся и звонят в номер даже при включенной надписи "не беспокоить", маленькие номера, высокая влажность в номерах, отсутствие шумоизоляции, обшарпанный номер, далеко от Патонга.

хороший , комфортабельный отель на отличном пляже , очень качественные рестораны на территории отеля , много предложений по организации активного отдыха (велосипеды , тайский бокс , катамараны , виндсерфинг )

Отель отличный. Идеально подходит для семейного,спокойного отдыха. Вечером в отеле самое крутое развлечение - это сидеть на открытом воздухе и слушать латино,в исполнении красивой тайки )) Кто ищет тусовки и драйв, то им не сюда.

Далековат от Патонга и Пхукет-Тауна. В целом, минусов нет. То есть, они есть, но эти минусы общие. Они есть во всех локальных отелях.

I love this hotel. All the staff are friendly and kind-heartedly. It's located at a very quiet beach so it have a very private environment, not noisy. What the most excited is we have a house with great view, open, comfortable, good scenery, lying in bed and I can see the beautiful sea.
