Situated on a small turning of the rambunctious road, plenty of bars and restaurants near by .but not noisy,we were on the fourth floor and didn't hear any noise,it's also close to the grand Buddha palace and the river.
Toilet didn't flush very good.
Location was great! And free coffee was provided. Lobby chairs were comfy.
Staff was not friendly at first, but they warmed up over time. Rooms were rundown for the price, wifi didn't work in the room and there were no screens on windows.
horrible bathroom walk up 3 floors. no windows in room except small one under AC with view to roof difficult to regulate bedroom temperature. found one MUCH better for same price.
Close to the hussle and bussle of Khao San Road, but not on it. Far away enough to make it peaceful, but close enough to grab a beer and dinner within a fee minutes. Also, there's a tourise info centre not far down the road, and a water taxi/ferry dock only minutes away!
When I asked for a map of Bangkok, they wanted to charge me 60BHT for it. So I just went to the tourist centre, where they gave them out free. I was disappointed they would charge for something so simple as a map.
Cheap. We had two different rooms over a couple of stays and one was slightly better than the other. This is basic accommodation and you get what you pay for.
Staircase is not for the fainthearted especially if you are on one of the higher floors. It is open and a bit wobbly.
This hotel has a very good location, near Kao san road, but in a very quiet place.
Staff was friendly, kind, caring, and accommodating. Air conditioner in room. Right outside of walking street and near Khaosan. We were given water upon check in. Wifi was good.
Bathroom ceiling dripped water. Floor was constantly wet.
Good location, cheap bus to mochit just few metres from here
Our room smelled bad, but we did not tell the staff because we stayed for 1 night only.
We stayed here at the beginning of our trip in the superior room and it was great and quiet. Wifi worked in the room. Staff greeted us with water and grabbed our bags when we arrived at 2AM. Beds weren't too bad.
We also stayed here at the end of our trip and only standard room was available and it sucked! A club played music till 2am and kept us up, wifi wouldn't work and I had to keep asking them to reboot it. Staff were not as friendly which was weird as we were return guests. This was the only place in Thailand we had to pay key deposit. 500 baht is a bit much.
Bed location quiet at night. Shower pressure and hot
Shower fixture angled horizontally so just hits the wall so you have to hold it the whole time. TV hardly works.
There is no far from the Kaosan street and Wat Po. Friendly stuff. More or less quiet at night. Additional deposit (give it back when you leaving, don't forget to remind on reception)
Very old and poor furniture. Awful bed with an old mattress. Old sanitary engineering in the bathroom. No European standards. Very expensive for such an poor and old room!
Location is perfect, far enough from Khao San Road but still only a few minutes away. Close to food stalls, market, 7-Eleven, etc. Extremely nice staff, always ready to help. The building is also very cool on the inside if 70s architecture is your thing. Loved it. Internet worked fine.
Nothing I can think of. You had to put a sign outside to have the room cleaned and we forgot to do it so no one to blame for the mess but ourselves!
Hot shower, great pillows. The bed was a little hard but that's a matter of taste. Suit guys at the lobby were persistent. The restaurant across the alley (wild orchid) was fantastic and has free and good wifi and great breakfast. I would certainly stay here again.
Slow wifi, but we were on the 4th floor. I was able to text message with no problem but could not connect to the wifi at any point.
Great street. Small and quiet; not like Khao San. Got good sleep. Restaurants aplenty nearby.
They had several wifi servers, and eventually one of them would always work. But there was some inexplicable glitches in the system somewhere.
Locate in a very charming area, with everything you need very close. Value for money, good wi-fi.
The bed was very bad. We had a very bad backache because of it. Very small bathroom. Not very helpful staff. We asked for room cleaning but they didn't do it.
This place is great. Stayed two nights in a room with my two friends. Queen bed and single bed. Beds are very comfortable Rooms very clean and staff very helpful.
Some street noise in our room. But not toonly bad.
Good central location close to where all the tourist action is and the River and Wat Phre Kaew
WiFi was pretty bad, pretty much gave up
Small but very comfortable rooms. Beds are great. Bathroom was good and clean as well. WiFi worked all the time. Great location: quiet during the night but close to restaurants and bars.
Reception staff could not or did not want to call the bus company that was supposed to pick us up and did not show up in time. They did not give any explanation why this was not possible. Even offering to pay for it didn't work. Not helpful at all!
Stuff -very friendly and professional The room clean Air Con working well Good location
Can't thing of anything
Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet little street. Good value and would return.
No elevator. Curtain doesn't block the light so much.
Staff and possibility to have some services (tours, tickets, pick up bus, money exchange no fee) Position, near temples and khaosan road but in a more quiet street AC good working
Tiny room Bathroom No lifter could find little better stay, but cheap and good position..consider it
+ Bed was really comfortable + Room was dark en quiet + We overslept, but we didn't have to pay extra + Located in centre, still no noise could be heard in the room
- Shower was tiny
The beds were comfy, the shower was good and the location is perfect near Kao San (Although Rambuttri is great as well) the AC was good, very hygienic.
The bathroom drainage was not very good, so the floor remained wet after a shower. There was little space for 3 persons in a triple room. It was certainly doable, but there was almost no room for 3 large bags.
Location Nice room and facilities Staff
Internet signal is weak
Very friendly staff, always happy to help. Nice and clean rooms. Quiet during the night, but close to Khao San Road.
