Located in a peaceful neighbourhood in Chiang Mai, Nai Boutique House is 200 metres from the renowned Tha Pae Gate and 600 metres from the spices of Warorot Market. This accommodation offers free...

Score from 57 reviews Excellent
Close to the Night Bazaar Really nice staff Reasonable price rooms Nice rooms
Restaurant is pretty basic
good location, good environment, good staff, breakfast is expensive but so many types, bed is just so so.
Location very good and staff excellent and very helpful. Resturant very good and food inexpensive. Set in attractive gardens by the river.
The guesthouse is right on the river which provides a nice view from the covered restaurant/breakfast area The 'bungalow' style accommodation means you do not feel asthough you are in a cramped city hotel - loved the layout It's very close to the city centre and to bridges over the river so you can easily walk to restaurants and cafes on the other side of the Ping River The staff were really nice and helpful and we booked one customised tour through the hotel tour desk. They were very efficient with this and we got the tour we wanted.
We have nothing negative to say about the Galare Guest House
Location near to night bazaar
I am likely to have bed bugs bites from staying there. Staff in the day can speak English but the staff at night cannot understand English.
Galare was very well located, right beside the river and within walking distance of the best markets and old city centre. It is a little hidden gem, located on a small side street with lush greenery, cool balconies, garden space and breakfast tables by the river. Our room was clean, comfortable and quite charming. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the price is very reasonable.
We booked a package through the front desk (not the tour desk which is excellent) to get to Luang Prabang on the slow boat. Not recommended - the minibus to Chiang Kong was terrifying, accommodation in Chiang Kong was disgusting, dinner and breakfast were minimal.
Liked pretty much everything except the medicl
Lack of medical
location is good， but be aware of the one-way line if you want to take some vehicle~
the bed is not so good， but worst value
Loved the staff and the food. Bed was very comfortable and the location was great especially for the night market. We stayed at another hotel in the old city and this one just outside the walls was SO MUCH BETTER!
Near to eateries and the night bazaar.
The wi-fi was unreliable. The receptionist was not friendly.
If you like wood, then you might like the exterior of the hotel.
The bathroom shower was moldy, the mattress was lumpy and sat on a wooden frame. Attempting to sleep in this bed was most uncomfortable. When I arrived the lady at the front desk was watching TV. She appeared to be displeased to have to take time away from her program to check me in to the room. I read a previous review of this hotel saying it was much like a hostel. During my 3 week trip to Thailand I stayed at several hostels. They were all superior to this hotel. Galare Guest House was the worst experience I encountered on my journey. I took pictures of the bathroom and the bed. However, I do not see a way to share them in this communication. Most disappointed! ! !
Fantastic location, awesome staff, and resort is right on the river. Great food! Couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in chiang mai. This place is great!
Wifi was difficult. You must log in every time you come back to the resort. Sometimes you might have to try 2-3 times before it takes. Very minor, this place was amazing.
The location was superb - near the centre of everything but down a quiet little lane. On site restaurant with a good variety of food so no need to go searching for food. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful garden right down to the river. Fantastic value for money.
No cable TV but we were there for the sightseeing so it didn't really matter
Location was good , design was also nice
In need to more professional staff. But it was ok
The balcony outside our room, free top up water and kettle in room. River views and garden
Our bathroom developed an unpleasant smell after a few days. The usual hard Thai bed
Great ambience - right on the river. Good size room. Quiet.
Grubby condition of bed linen and bathroom - curtains. Insufficient lighting. Tired and run-down furniture TV and fridge. Breakfast was disappointing.
More decent accomodation.
Service, cleanliness, bed, etc
Like the location. Food basic but good value.
This time I found a couple of reception a bit grumpy, with one exception and she was very very helpful.
Decent breakfast. Nice rooms. Good price. Nice atmosphere.
Ants in bathroom. Annoying electricity system in rooms does not allow you to charge phones or other devices when you are out. Repeatedly having to log into WiFi is also tedious.
The grass area on the river
The seats could be more comfortable and have a umbrella
Quiet and peaceful in the middle of the city. Close to the night market for food and shopping. Wondeful staff.
Shower was warm or cold. Had to reset Wi-Fi every time we left the premises or removed the key.
It was nice staying there and staff are friendly and helpful.
The location is great - just 5 minutes from the night bazaar (if you walk very slow). During the night is is relatively quiet because the guest house is located in a residential area. WIFI is okay - some websites are blocked (I do not know why - Is amazon.de considered to be immoral?).
Breakfast seems to be a little bit overpriced. The staff is very helpful if you are interested in one of their tours. If you have your own car and ask for directions they are not so friendly.
The hotel structure which is by the Ping river, and the staff who was prompt to help you out.
