I liked that the Glitz had a cultural feel in their rooms, which gives it alot of character. The staff are friendly & willing to help. I believe that this hotel was good value for money.

Breakfast could be organized in a better way, maybe it was a little confusing at the moment of ordering. But it was ok..

Extremely friendly staff. Very sweet lady dealing with the breakfast. Nice state of decoration. Very clean and well appointed rooms with all facilities. I usually stay in higher end accommodation but was very comfortable here. Also room was unusually quiet given it was right over the the main road.

There is only a lift for suitcases so should be borne in mind if you are uncomfortable with stairs. I wasn't too pleased about the cash payment on arrival but eventually paid by credit card with an extra 3% charge.

The staff were terrific. They could not do enough for you. The hotel was modern and very clean. Enjoyed our stay. Would recommend and return if ever in Bangkok again.

Room is very spacious, Price is very reasonable. Close to everything. Staff is helpful and friendly. Recommend, especially if you want to be close to nightlife!

The staff is friendly. Good location, just one street from patpong market market. We got a room upgraded because the tv wasn't working.

The view from the roooms isn't amazing, but we did not expect for more. Breakfast is really simple but ok.

No lift - no view

Location was very good, easy walking distance to countless restaurants and bars. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, being very flexible on a number of occasions. The value for the money was high. Room was comfortable and spacious. The bed was the most comfortable (soft) I've ever had in Thailand.

It's an excellent small boutique hotel and for the amount of money you paid for - totally worth it! It's accessible by BTS Sala Daeng (7-10 minutes walk, fine by me). You get off the train, take Exit 1 (you'll see Thaniya Plaza right away), go straight ahead (through Soi Thaniya) till a T-junction, turn left (and just walk straight up, hotel is on your left opposite Tawana Hotel on your right hand side). If you get lost, ask them to point you to Tawana Hotel, Glitz will be just right across it! ;) It's closed to Patpong Market, around few minutes walk. If you're a Muslim and needs Halal diet, tell the breakfast lady (she's very nice and will take good care of you during your stay)

Well, having a guest elevator would be nice!

Tv in room very poor, satellite tv but only a few channels available - all non English speaking.

We had a enjoyable stay at the Glitz hotel, it's perfect if you only use it for sleeping or have a little nap during the hot afternoon in Bangkok. Don't expect any facilities, although the wireless Internet is free of charge and works well. Just for your information, there is no elevator!! Breakfast was very good, but don't expect a full buffet breakfast!! You have two choices of breakfast, international or Thai breakfast with coffee, orange juice and toasted bread. A nice lady will make it for you fresh in the kitchen, it will take a while but it is a good start. Glitz is a good hotel for people (individuals, couples) who want to explore the culture and many many food markets in Bangkok.

The hotel is offering some half-day / day tours to some famous places in/near Bangkok. They have a book with all the information including prices. At the reception they also offer these tours at a much lower price!? Our advice is to do some research through bangkok before paying an amount of money.

Very close to skytrain station and Patpong Market

Very good situated, only 100m. from Patong nightmarket. There is no elevator but the staff puts your luggage in the staff elevator so you don't have to carry your luggage on the stairs. New hotel: very nice decorated rooms and bathroom with free amenities. Friendly service. Very good price/quality. We will certainly come back and can recommand this hotel.

酒店的位置和卫生都很不错，设施也很新，就是小一点。服务员的脸上也永远挂着灿烂的笑容，里面早上做早餐的- 老妈妈，虽然有一点慢，但是人非常好。这个酒店应该是物超所值吧，推荐。

Bel hôtel aux chambres propres ,soignées et glamour ,esprit boudoir. Personnel adorable en particulier la dame qui sert le petit déjeuner (cuisiné à la demande), on se sent comme à la maison ! Emplacement idéal à côté de l animation de Patpong, du stade de boxe Lumpini et à 5 minutes à pieds du skytrain et du métro (stations Siam, Sala Daeng et Lumpini). À réserver sans hésiter

kleinschalig en midden in het centrum persoonlijke aandacht mooie en schone kamers de locatie, een paar passen van de nachtmarkt

beetje gehorig, maar dat is vrij normaal in centrum!

Situation

Chambres vieillissantes, propreté aléatoire, très mauvais rapport qualité prix pour un hôtel design mais qui aurait besoin d être entretenu pour proposer une prestation de qualité. A déconseiller.
