Grand Alpine Hotel  

The good of this hotel was being it's strategic location where right in the heart of the Pratunam shopping area. Many shops and mall are just within walking distance and various choices of local food can be found near the hotel too.

The main cons of this hotel is where it has too many "man-in- black" would check-in. This is not a problem, the main reason of why we dislike is they would be partying in the hotel for the whole night non-stop and making noise around where they don't bother others hotel resident's complaint and keep this as their wish throughout our stay. Hope that the hotel managment will take note on this. Else, we wouldn't consider to stay in anymore.

The Entrance was too narrow.

I love their pacious bedding and roomy toilet. Nice and clean budget hotel. We made full use of the hotel's free tuk- tuk shuttle which can carry all 9 of us to nearby attractions mainly Platinum Mall area. Quiet at night even though its only few steps away from the bustling street hawkers. Just walk along the street, u can shop all day till the next morning. Seems the stall owners have day/night shift. Night market have better bargains rather than the malls. Wifi is good and they even have free usage of pc in lobby.

The minus point would be the hot shower. I've stayed on 1st floor but whenever I took a shower, the water would be cold at first. Took sometime to heat up. And when its heat up, it goes cold again.

Staffs are friendly and helpful.. Very near to Pratunam market, food stalls and foot massage..

The water heater in bathroom are not sensitive.. Either too hot or too cold and hard to adjust to a comfort level..

not bad lodging option

Parenthetic service. Rude staff. And Air-Conditioning not working. Rooms were not cleaned. Hotel staff including reception did not talk in English. Bad room service. Staff is so unfriendly they never bothered to listen to any customers.

The location of the hotel is initially pretty hard to locate, but with guidance from the internet it was fairly reasonable to find the location. Look for the address of CITIN PRATUNAM or BLUTIQUE. The hotel location is along the same stretch of lane located at the RIGHT HAND SIDE, opposite Family Mart. The service from the staff at Grand Alpine was good, despite that there was an blackout on New Year's Day. They were able to get us into the room within 1-2hours. They are very helpful and willing to assist all enquires.

The daily room service are unlike other hotels, they come at different timings for room service. The doors are not soundproof. It's a fairly new hotel, and still under renovation, probably after the renovation, it would be a better place!

Rooms could be cleaner. Hotel should have a signboard outside. The boss isn't friendly

Its expanding and would be great if competitive price remains. Nice convenient location near street hawking and day/night markets. Still not so popular yet so needed to quote other hotels like Pavillion or Citin which is next door only to taxi driver in order to locate. However, evident that it is expanding to have its own front facade in future, meant time its at the side alley of Pavillion hotel.

Staffs are friendly but communication got problem. The hotel's location is very difficult to find. Rooms are occupied at the floor but still do renovation.

I love the location of this hotel. Walk out less than 3mins you have reach to the morning wholesales market! For RM 120 per night without breakfast, it was cheap as breakfast can always opt for food court early in the morning. We have no trouble sleeping through the night as everything is clean and neat.

Bring along all your essentials like shampoo and body shampoo they do not provide anything except towels and face towels There were no sign board of the hotel so it is quite difficult to search for the location. The only landmark is to quote Citin Pratunam Hotel. It is just right beside or call the staff they will direct the taxi driver as it approaches the location. There are still renovation going on so it will be quite noisy at times.

The service was good. Staffs are friendly and had no problem communicating.

The area there is not suitable for female travelers. It's a bit dodgy and for some reason, the housekeeping does not come in the morning. They would do it in the evening. N the hotel is still under renovation which causes noise pollution during early morning.

The location is good. The hotel is very new. Some construction work is still goin in. Within walking distance to shopping area such as Platinum Mall, Siam Center, Siam Paragon, Siam Discovery, MBK, etc. The staff are friendly especially the porter. We couldn't find the hotel on the day we arrived. A very nice passer-by helped us to contact the hotel for direction. The hotel staff arranged transport to ferry us to their hotel. They even ferry us to the Airport Link Station to catch the train to airport on our departure day. Overall, the service is excellent.

The hotel is quite noisy due to some construction work. The wall is not sound proof. Can be quite noisy if the guests from other rooms talk loudly. Found a lizard in the room but not a big issue.

1)Don't have a slipper for use inside ur room. 2)Need to provide more facilities for bath room. (now soap only inside) 3)Some repair or maintenance jobs are done before requested to customers or after customers away from room. 4)Hotel main entrance focus is very bad. A new hotel so everything looks new. They have free Wifi in the whole hotel and have computer terminals at the lobby which is very convenient to check out attractions and doing online check in. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The free Tuk Tuk service is very convenient too as it fetches us directly to Platinum Mall.

As the hotel is very new, the finishing of several parts of the room are like incomplete (E.G. the cupboard shelf have black marks probably left by workers who is building the shelf and some corners have powdery materials which are probably paint or from the wooden furnitures). I was quite shocked that the aircon was suddenly leaking on my last day of stay however the staff reacted very well and changed our room instantly after we reported the problem.

The Hotel itself is very nice, comfy big beds and clean. The location is very good once you work out where it is!

it's so hard to find

Отлчный отель одля остановки на 2-3 дня! Примыкает к Байок-скай (для ориентира), ремонт лучше, чем стандарты в Байоке (проверено), добираться просто до торговых центров и метро, рестораны в непосредственной близости

Единственный минус - отсутствие нормальных указателей до отеля
