Comfort, great views, pools, restaurant, bars all pretty good overall
It wasn't really walking distance to anywhere , although tuk tuks are that cheap it made little difference
Staffs were great and friendly.
The toilet was unclean. The room was worn out and a bit old.
Poor lighting in rooms, outlets were not holding any plugs, rooms were antiquated. Kitchen had nothing to use for plates or silverware, Elevators required a separate key to use (?) Breakfast was so-so…Wifi- had to log on with each device with a separate password and had to log on each time…Depressing location- away from activities…1980’s themed. Worst, but not the least expensive hotel I stayed in. Enjoyed a much cheaper place in old city area.
Big room sizes
Lifts are time based and dies not censor the people arriving. Multiple people got hurt as the lift door slammed into them.
The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and great with our kids. We used the swimming pool on the roof and most days had it to ourselves which was lovely. The rooms were cleaned everyday, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is good, about a ten minute tuktuk into the old town, walking streets, night bazaar etc. We used the hotels tour company to arrange most of our days out and we found them to be fairly reasonable in price, very accommodating and offered many different choices. I had an accident whilst staying at the hotel and the staff were fantastic at helping my husband out with childcare whilst I was in hospital and when I returned to the hotel. There is also a great little bar/restaurant just outside the hotel called Andys Place which I would highly recommend.
There is a problem with birds at the hotel which meant the view was somewhat obscured! My husband did lean out and clean some of the window so we could enjoy the scenery! Breakfast, was indeed plentiful however the western choice was fairly limited in comparison to the Asian offerings. We ate at the rooftop restaurant which is in a great setting but unfortunately the food was only ok. The hotel rooms need updating a little but overall we were happy because of the price we paid.
The location for visiting the mountains and other trips. Helpful tour desk.
A little beat down property. Furniture old. My two bedroom suite had one of the rooms AC not working
Hotel was so nice, the pool, the wifi was really good! Food was good but expensive!
It very far from the town bit, and the taxi from the hotel are expensive, so we walked to the end of the road and got the taxi for half the price
The place had no down side, it is excellent
Room was spacious
The toilet shower , not working .
I like the fitness room and the convenience of location
Wifi signal could be stronger
the swimming pools, large room , excellent bathroom, room cleanliness
the exterior part of the building has problem from bird infestation, it is heavily contaminated with bird chit!!
Funny smell to the room
Hotel room was spacious and located walking distance to the newly- built mall maya. Secured parking for good view of the ChiangMai City. Aircon was cold.
Reception manager does not have sufficient knowledge on nearby holiday destinations. Gave us wrong distances and didn't seem happy when we tried to correct her. Wifi signal was weak and you need to call to find out the new login details everyday.
a room size and clealiness.
hard mattress and old decoration, some is not in good condition.
Only the reception is ok
Our family had suffered very bad experience in this hotel, we don't understand how the score could be 7.1 average! - location is not good, only close to Ningmann road, all other places have to take taxi or tuktuk - the hotel facility is nightmare, very old, can't say 3 star even, old lift, room quite old, big but not comfortable, look from outside, very old and poor - full of Mosquito in the hotel / lift / room, don't know hotel why not control the insect - bathroom also looks dirty, the towel looks dirty as well - noisy if u are at the high rise All in all, it's the worst hotel we took in recent years!
Dated hotel. Carpet and windows need to be cleaned.
Great value for money. Very nice bedrooms and beds. Hotel itself and bathrooms old and worn out but it doesn't matter. Nice, very well equipped fitness room. Rooftop pool big and clean, no shade. Wonderful Grill restaurant. Easy to get tuktuk anywhere.
5th floor pool dirty and surroundings unappealing. Nothing interesting in walking distance.
stuff are nice, everyone is patient and helpful, decoration of the hotel is very exotic thai, breakfast are good, variety to choose. i live in the executive room, which is big and nice, but the only thing is the air conditioner, but after changing the room, everything turned better, the maya shopping center is near, which is convienient, ninman road is near too
just the location of the hotel is a bit far from chiang mai city, which is a bit annoying ,but good part is the songthiao car is convinient
We had a two bedroom suite and it was enormous. The lobby was good and free coffee and snacks were provided daily in our package. The concierge was helpful with tuktuks and general arrangements. Beds and lined very clean and comfortable. Daily rooms cleans are meticulous. East access to the Northern Thai tourists locations so you don't have to fight the traffic. Maya mall across the road was convenient. The Italian restaurant across the road was fabulous!!
The lower pool was green and not maintained. The rooms are tired and need a facelift. Room service menu was limited and when we needed it after a long day touring the food arrived undercooked. No washing machine in the room.
Not bad bigger room n clean house keeping
Difficult find transport, have tuk2 but ..... No comment.the staff did not help carry my suitcase and left me to my own go to room.only housekeeping friendly lol
I love it
Hotel is big n clean room mate is fantastic
Too far from main rd need to walk out to take transport not convenience
They upgraded us to a suite that was bigger than we booked because they had missed that we booked for a low floor.
The hotel was tatty and in need of a refurb.
The front office staffs was really nice and helpful especially a girl called Panowan who speak fluent Eng. The hotel is located at a quiet area but still closed enough to other area. Walking distance to Nimman, and Maya. The room is big and comfortable.
The top floor restaurant called Xanadu. The floor & drink was extremely over priced and disgusting. I stayed in Chiang Mai for over 6 weeks before I stay in Furama. So I've been to many restaurant included top & up market one. This Xanadu is absolutely disappointed for the food, the wine was so bad that I split it out, and the worst was the staffs and service!!!! The only reason that you go there is for the view as it almost the only top floor restaurant in town. I suggested only go there have a glass of beer (with ice because it's not cold enough). and enjoy the view. Then go some else for dinner!!!
big room, good security, having 2 swimming pools, having non-smocking room, quiet because it is down the lane
the food is expensive, too many pegiens and their excretion on the windows. sometime there is a shortage of hot water, especially in the morning. i couldnt get the towels at the swimming pool, 17 th floor, this time and it was at 9.30 in the morning.
