Location. Convenience of having UPS in Hotel. In it's day the Hotel would have been lovely, I'm sure. But it is in definite need of Renovations and Upgrades. Electrical in bedrooms very unsafe. We also had ants in our room. At breakfast there was a cockroach sighted on two occasions, running over cutlery. It's just a very "tired" building, in need of TLC!

Location of the hotel is great. The family room we use was refurbished, spacious and contained the necessary facilities. Price-quality is ok. The hotel in general still requires some refurbishment. The reception is sober and could be upgraded to provide more cachet and class to the hotel. Now it gives a worn-out impression. Bathrooms could be more refurbished than they are now. Swimming pool should be closed. That one doesn't do it. The route to the pool is 'strange' and the pool itself is hardly 'proper'.

The staff were outstanding, very helpful and caring. The hotel is in the middle of Chinatown and perfect for getting around to find transport. Near the river, train station and lots of busses going in all directions. For those who like to sew or have hobbies it's heaven. Sampeng lane and Phapurat road were jam packed with all kinds of shops supplying scrapbooking, sewing articles etc... For wedding articles I'd suggest Chinaworld on Yaowarat rd. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever come across in Thailand, something for everyone, even the picky ones!! The hotel TAXI staff are not reliable so I would suggest finding a driver you can trust, get his private number and call him when necessary. The hotel is veryyyy old so be aware of the fact that it's not luxurious. The spa was very expensive so I found a massage salon at the top of Yaowarat road and got a wonderful 1.5hr massage for 250thb.

Friendly staff at reception, helpful and gave us ideas on what to do or see. was a massive suite with amazing views. Good air con controls. Very good value for money. Brilliant location. Good use of free wifi in lobby area. Clean, tidy, and if we needed anything it was no trouble. The roof top pool was not really a pool but more a double jacuzzi, but if its only a dip you need to cool off its fine.

I liked the location. It is only a 10 minute walk to the ferry dock. It is in the heart of China town. Lots of interesting markets and shops. There are great views of the city and river from our room. There is a small pool and lounge chairs and a nice revolving restaurant on the 25th floor. A good buffet breakfast is in the main restaurant. The staff were very helpful and friendly. You could only use WIFI in the lobby.

I like that it was cheap and you are in the heart of China town. The room was very big. They only had internet on the lobby. Also, it wasn't very clean.

Although, she is situated in the super crowded area in Chinatown, I like the atmosphere of local Thai doing business, daily chores, shopping grocery. The Swimming Pool is tool small, just enough to soak in, cannot swim. However the Jacuzzi wet is functioning ok.

The hotel was first class and could not complain about anything. It was a stones throw from central Chinatown and the markets. Internet was offered free in the lobby but had to pay for it in the room when was a bit annoying. I would be nice if it was free internet in all areas of the hotel as this is a must these days.

The staff and room service were great My room was very dated and the carpets were disgusting.I Felt as though I was walking through a frying pan. I filled in the feed back report to the hotel manger on my second day. I did not receive any satisfaction from the duty manager when I voiced my opinion. I had stayed overnight on the 12th November when I arrived in Bangkok and had a fabulous room. The room I had was far from de-luxe. If I hadn't spent four week's travelling and living out of a suit case I would have moved on.I Have never stayed in accommodation where I felt the need to wear flip flops all the time.

The rooms were clean and well equiped. Breakfast was allright, staff was friendly and the spa was exellent!! It's obvious the hotel is not the newest anymore and has lost a little of his glory. To bad because with a little more effort this hotel could be kept in better shape to European norms (I'm an interior designer, it probably has something to do with it!).
