Yes close to China town
It could be amazing hotel with revolving bar and a classic from the 70s. but it's not Breakfast area dirty and staff not really interested Room shower head broken Whole room looking very old safe did not work Sorry but better value for money else where.
Every thing is good over all
I loved everything
The bed was too hard
Location is perfect for those exploring chinatwn for the first time!
Breakfast selection n quality could do better
Good that hotel has ATM machine and a tailor. Hotel provide taxi service if you do not paying more but it make your trip to anywhere quick. Check in quick.
If got minimart inside would be good. If hotel provide cellphone load top up online service will be better.
Very friendly staff, helpful and pleasant. Rooftop bar is nice.
Location, no where to go!
Fun location in the heart of Chinatown. Spacious rooms with nice views over Bangkok.
Pictures of the swimming pool are misleading. It's really shabby in reality.
friendly staff n efficient security made our stay memorable
Rather quiet reception area. Used to have music n songs in the lounge.
Location was pretty good
This hotel had a reasonable location and the price wasn't bad. But, the room was small, the balcony was old and dilapidated and therefore unuseable. There was also a cockroach in the room that was the size of a small car. I note that others have commented on this matter of cockroaches but this one had to be seen to be believed. Certainly, the odd cockroach is probably unavoidable in a city like Bangkok but this thing was a serious contender for space in the room. I decided to try the Grand China after becoming seriously disenchanted with our other long time BKK hotel but we will NOT be staying there again. It's just poor and down at heel.
The people at the information desk and bell boy lead us to a much.... further jetty to get a boat to our destination (Wat Arun). The jetty is just opposite of then bench.
Near to chinatown n lots of nice food along the streets ay night. Good shopping area:)
We live In Thailand and this Is an excellent location for buying wholesale products that are imported from China, The room was spacious and views of Bangkok whilst not the highest hotel, are amazing, especially during this time of year when the visabilty, if not raining is at its best. The staff were friendly and helpful with a special mention to the management, as we had a puppy and under normal circumstances would not have been allowed in the room. Unlike most Thai companies they showed some flexibilily and understood our position and the pup was allowed to stay.
Outside of the hotel within walking distance is huge lack of places to eat good food. Tesco Lotus has a KFC and that just about sums it up.
Stayed a number of times Recent renovations have made the lobby far more welcoming A great location to access Saturday night in Chinatown Staff very attentive & for me their English skill is good
No buffet for Sunday lunch
Reception staff very friendly and helpfull
Room was old and outdated.
Upgrade to 21st floor, location, Clean, huge balcony views Amazing, staff fine. Would return anytime.
No complaints , stayed 4 nights.
Being in the heart of Chinatown was a bonus for this hotel. Rooms big and clean.
Size of pool was quiet small, lack of information from the front desk, but the concierge was more helpful.
Breakfast room on 10th floor is very old. Furniture is running down
Cockroaches in the room (ROOM NO.1203), after changing the room there are mosquitoes in the another room (ROOM NO.1105) management didn't taken any serious action just spray the mosquitoes killer. i was wonder that how can govt. or the hotel association department are so careless. and also the 4 star grading department responsible. Govt. of Thailand also responsible for the same, as they are collecting / charging the Taxes etc. Even your company has a responsibility NOT to recommend these type of hotels to any one. Thanks Shankar Kataria
all good thanks.
Staff was not proficient with English. Hard to understand.
My nearest business hotel I have NO other option.
I find cockroaches showed the called the duty manager in room they literally catch and shifted to other room than there are very small mosquitoes, they spray for that, but very unfair and not 4 Star category. Pls. Don't recommend to those who are coming for holiday.
Location and parking space.
Staff were really friendly and helpful. Clean room , very comfortable with balcony and a great view .
Everything was fine.
The 360 bar and restaurant friendliness of the staff
