Our stay at the Grande was exactly as the name implies. It was luxury in every way. We had organised for the hotel Mercedes to collect us after a midnight arrival from Sydney. No problems with meeting directions and a professional drive in. We arrived well after the check-in time after emailing this fact and were greeted and taken to our room without delay for a wonderful sleep on the king size bed. In the morning we awoke to the most amazing view of Bangkok from the 40th floor. A clear view and no smog as we thought would be the case. The room was huge with a separate kitchen/dining area and a dressing room and spotless luxury bathroom. A washer/dryer, microwave and eating utensils made it easy to prepare snacks and refresh clothes. The breakfast, unlike some other comments I have read, had virtually anything you could possibly wish for at breakfast, all replenished quickly. It was extremely busy over a weekend, but there was plenty of seating and food for all. Egg and soup stations made anything fresh and all nationalities were catered for, which was great for the different flavours. If you want to use the facilities they consist of an impressive huge infinity pool with 2 spas and comfortable lounges. There is an entertainment room where you can watch chosen videos, a quiet reading room with stocks of books, a tea and TV room which leaving guests can use and 2 sound insulated children's play areas and of course the excellent gym with steam and sauna room and a hot tub/spa all in peaceful spotless surroundings. The hotel if very close to the skytrain to go directly to MBK and the Siam shopping area, 5 minutes away. The area around the hotel is full of other high end hotels where you can choose to dine very inexpensively as well as at the hotel's dining room. As well there are huge shopping Malls and local eateries within a 5-10 minute's walk. I would definitely stay here again for convenience, value for money and the impeccable service and amenities.

What I not like was the lying and constant room changing ( when u book room on the net, prices fluctuate so the hotel staff try to say you gotta change rooms as you booked grand suite, the next day they saying you are in executive so you gotto pay the difference the day after you are in the grand suite again and you have not even changed rooms.)

I Normally check the reviews of the earlier residents to choose a Hotel. I have written on Hotels in Athens, Santorini and Mykonos, I quite trust the opinions that I have read and thus I am writing this so the future guests to this hotel can take advantage. Extremely satisfied with all aspects of the Hotel, Excellent rooms, beautiful Lobby, good, effecient and courteous staff. The recreational floor is par excellence. It is a hotel for people staying a little longer duration and families. The breakfast was good, the only drawback is that the hotel offers only one coffee shop so the food choise is limited if not going out. But the location is such that you have all cuisines right at your doorstep due to the location. I will definitely recommend this hotel and also if I go back to Bangkok stay there.

I truly enjoyed the facility which completes with Washer/Dryer in my hotel. This has truly provided so much convenience in washing our dirty clothes including swimming suits which can be washed and dried daily during our stay. The ambience at the hotel lobby is peaceful and calm. The provision of hot drink corner for the hotel guest at the lobby are awesome as it allows our family to enjoy a cup of good tea while waiting for other family members to be ready.

The hotel is located at Ratchadamri bts station which is very close to all shopping facilities like Siam Paragon (1 station or walk) or mbk (2 stations). The view from the upper rooms is really nice and the rooms are large. The pool opens at 6am. The staff is unmotivated and does definitly not fit to the standard of hotel. On arrival, the staff tried to charge us 15% service charge, but the service was already included in the booking.com-price. We need to explain this two times and had to print out the reservation email by ourselves - and this after a 14 hours journey at 5am. The "fully equipment kitchen" has nothing as equipment. No kitchen knife, no soap for the dishes, no pots, no wine glasses, no dessert cups... Only a microwave, a kitchen stove and a toaster. Even on a difficult request, only less equipment was available (dessert cups and spoons) Who the hell needs a kitchen stove without pots or pans?? In addition, the staff was not able to make enough food while breakfast - so the Chinese guests raid the buffet. Executive Suites in higher level than 23 were only available for smoking rooms.

The room is big and toilet is clean . Is Gd for family for the washing machine can dry clothes is nice. Only the voice from corridor is easily to be hear. I like the view can see swimming pool, is ok. Only inadequate point , that they only provide two bottle water, order more need charges. The morning breakfast is boring but health. If can hv more choice is better.

This was the second time I stayed in this hotel and I like the comfort and the facilities of this hotel. The pool is big and there are plenty of seats to relax around. The rooms are comfortable, bed, bathroom and the view out of the large windows over Bangkok are amazing good. The breakfast room is not that relaxed breakfast, no windows and due to the fact, many people stay in the hotel, a bit loud and busy. Who don't like that, can select different breakfast sets to order to the room (extra charge)

The room was very very clean, the breakfast was good, location is good. The staff was not very helpful with information about ways to get to locations such as the old city, the night marker, etc. We where told to take a sky train and then change to a boat, but when we got to the river we found out that there no boat available for the last 2 months since the flooding caused the flow to be too strong. Another time we asked where can we find a place to eat and they sent us a night market that when we got there we found out that it was closed for a couple of months.

Location was close to shopping malls/markets like Central World (10 min on foot), Paragon Mall (20 min) and mbk (25 min). Also, across the street there was a tuk-tuk stop regulated by the police (green colored). The hotel was elegant, clean, safe and good value for the money. I really recommend to consider this hotel if you are in Bangkok for shopping also recommend MBK mall as a start.

Great large room, city view we requested a high floor so we got the 28th floor view of the Royal Sports Club overlooking the bts Skytrain. Close to everything, hotel is right next to the Four Seasons and other side is the Grand Hyatt Erawan. Nicely appointed rooms, with a mini washer/dryer inside the room. The only drawback is there are no restaurants in the building except the buffet breakfast Cafe Mesamis and everything else is room service, or you can dine in their grand lobby. We ordered room service and it came with nice large plates however covered with plastic. No place settings, but the room has a small kitchenette so we used those forks etc during our meal. Free wi-fi. Rooms have wall to wall shutters which gives a special touch, our room also had a well designed chaise lounge by the ceiling to floor window. It also has a beautiful sitting room, nice pool, child's play room, gym, all in the same 7th or 8th floor. Paid last minute rate of 9660 Thai baht including breakfast and wifi. Good value! No restaurants in the hotel except room service and the breakfast buffet room. I would give it 5 stars if they had a cafe and a nice sit-down restaurant. So I give it 4.5 stars!

The hotel is great, the suite is amazing because it include many facilities. Interior decoration fantastic. The design is also fantastic. The breakfast buffet is very bad, there is food to meet the asian needs only. The reception staff is not well oriented and have attitude problem. As soon as we arrived the hotel asked us to pay a 4000 baht for payment by credit card, this was not mentioned anywhere in the booking . This politic is not correct.

The lobby looks very grand - it is a pity the rest of the hotel falls short of this first impression Breakfast is of poor quality and served in a crowded noisy cafeteria. Shutters rather than curtains make it impossible to get the room dark. Shutters must be kept closed to have any privacy. Corridors are tiled and reflect noise. The suite had no armchair or sofa but a useless dining table. Overall a very disappointing hotel, compounded by the insistence that booking.com bookings be paid in full on arrival despite holding a credit card guarantee. There are many better optionsd in Bangkok.

Well located, yet away from the hustle and bustle of bangkok. It was a well contained room with all the amenities that one would like to have away from home. It was great to have the washing machine. One could do the laundry and iron it too... Excellent hotel--- have recommended and will stay in it again. The Breakfast was very average---- no selection of cheese, no refills as dishes finished of fruits or salad..... The egg station was managed by inexperienced cheffs... overall --- breakfast needs to be upgraded

Excellent location, convenient to bts, and great value for money! Nice to have kitchen to prepare snacks, washer/dryer and free dvd rental. Pool was large! Usually I stay at Grand Hyatt or Four Seasons, but will definitely come back to Grande Centre Point in future. Breakfast buffet was adequate and selection was plentiful. Don't compare it to 5-star hotel breakfast but it is sufficient.

Enjoyed the beautiful city view overlooking Lumpini Park from our 42nd floor!!! Reservations accommodated our request for non-smoking, twin room at high floor. Room was big, clean and as a residence hotel, room is equipped with microwave oven, sink, washing machine with pack of detergent, utensils for eating and cooking. Location is 10 min walk to Central World and Big c, about 20 mins to Pratunam area. Staff friendly and helpful, very pleasant to deal with. And free wifi with very good signal (there is router in the room)!!! The breakfast buffet was ok but it could have had more variety, especially the fruits since there are many fruits in season at this time.

The hotel decor and the Grand suite itself was very comfortable, everything you might need in a suite was available, kitchen appliances, washing machine/dryer, excellent bathroom, fax, dvd player, etc. We loved the room and our corner view of the Golf course and the house keeping was excellent so were the bell boys and room service......excellent if you stick to your own room. Generally, the hotel has a very uptight attitude all about it,especially the reception with an exception of one lady, may be its intentional but quite unusual of Thai hospitality. They don't smile and just keep on talking to each other in Thai and laugh. The food is below average(we had better food at our hotel in Phuket) especially the breakfast needs an international touch, more geared towards its far eastern clients. The hotel is great but what is not mentioned on any of the websites is that it has a lot of intimidating rules for kids to behave which kind of made it very tense for us and we stuck to the room, so its great for older quieter people. It is beautiful but not for families with young children.
