Beatiful view of Bangkok from restoraunt in top of hotel. We obtain quite cheap room but with 2 windows in 2 different sides of city. Very good and quite cheap meal in restoraunt. Breakfast is reach, meny differrent dishes to select. Unfortunatly swimming pool wasn't worked when we came. When we acked to buy glass of juice (60 bat in bar in 1 floor) and wanted to go with it to room - it occures that it's a room service and price growes to more then 100 bat... but it's small thing, the whole impressing from this hotel - is exellent!

The location was good. Service at the counter was good, except that I had a bit of difficulty explaining in English I have to pay another visit to find that out.

Maid did a very good job. Breakfast was very poor and there wasn't internet in the room. Also - even there was written that there is a wi-fi, the only place that it can be used was business centre. In home page there was written that they have a swimming pool, but turned out to use it, you have to pay.

I was part of an organized group and the Grande Ville was chosen in advance. This travel organization did not renew their contract with the Grande Ville, which suggests that many travelers were not very happy with the hotel. The restaurant is small and the food not especially good. The staff was cordial but seemed overworked and not very friendly. The lack of free wi-fi in the hotel was a problem for me.

Like the feel of the hotel and the atmosphere makes you feel that you are staying in a good hotel. Pleasant staff, comfortable rooms and lovely views. I was disappointed that the hotel still charges for internet access, especially now that wifi has been rolled out. It upsets me when other less rated hotels and guesthouses throughout Thailand offer this as a free service whereas Grande Ville don't seem to want to.

They did not charge for the breakfast for my two kids 8yrs and 5yrs. Room had one Double bed and one single bed, which made it possible for all four of us to sleep peacefully. Rooms are quiet and No noise. The bell boys are very helpfull and speak good english. The reception staff do not speak English that well. China market is on the left hand side when you come out of the hotel. It has cameras, tripods, toys and other electronics. I would say the breakfast was pretty ok for the room price charged. The view was good from the roof top. Khaosan road market is close by, But its full of backpackers. Palace and temples are close by. The Pool Is not a pool at all. It is a Jacuzzi, which can only fit Max two people at one time. Its like a Bath Tub, little bigger than the one I have in my house. The road in front of the hotel is always Jammed and the taxis refrain to take you to the hotel. No train station close to the hotel. Price wise the hotel was good , but I will try some other Hotel Next time, because of the Location.

Great view of city on the higher floors. It was close to some of the major attractions. Markets around the corner. The shower was not up to scratch. There was also a map in the room that if opened they charge 200baht for but the sticker telling you that fact was concealed - I found that a little sneaky.

Location was good and we were able to access Chinatwon relatively well. Not having wifi access was a very real problem. Internet access was limited to a small 3 x PC 'Business Centre' which filled quickly with kids playing online games, etc. This needs to be sorted before we would consider going back!
