Haad Yao Bayview Resort & Spa    

Stayed in a sea view villa. Large room and great balcony with fabulous sea views. The staff were very pleasant and the meals excellent with a great price. Massages by the beach were a particular highlight.

Staff are friendly and super helpful! My friend and I stayed here for just one night before the Full Moon Party and the hotel offer a taxi service (350Baht return pp) to get there. Took about 20 mins and they always have someone waiting for anyone wanting to return (I though this was a great idea so you dont have to wait around if your wanting to leave) The hotel is located right next to the beach so ideal for relaxing. plenty of restaurants and bars on the beach

The rooms were very spacious with large beds and quiet air-con. Good selection of tv channels. The beach was brilliant. Very tranquil with nice selection of restaurant bars. The hotel staff were friendly and professional. All round great value for money

The breakfast buffet was good. When they changed to set menu it was not value for money. 200 baht for very little.

Very relaxing. Good location to beach, shops and motorbike hire. The massage ladys were excellent. The staff are very polite and friendly. Our room was clean and great views. Thanks for the stay!

Perhaps if anything, a little more variety on breakfast menu, (cereals) but was ok thanks.

Friendly stuff. Good food and reasonable prices in the restaurant. Delicious fruit shakes (real fruits)!! Good wifi internet in the room (but no connection at the restaurant). Great view in the room. Good beach (but this time of year it's low water in the day time). Quiet and peaceful place.

Far from city and parties Not very clean in the bathroom (before our checking- in they didn't clean there at all. After my asking they just splashed in the toilet and sink) very slow restaurant stuff. We waited for 20-40 mins even for corn flakes and milk I wish they had free transfers around the island. Because of location it's very expensive to travel around...

The surrounding area was fabulous, perfect for couples as you literally did not have to move from the resort with a supermarket,beach,restaurants and bars. Staff were brilliantly helpful and they picked us up from the pier for 120bht per person. Would definitely stay again, it was clean and romantic, but if your wanting to venture off around the island definitely rent a motorbike !

Our room was a bit smelly but after we learnt to put the bin over the drain in the bathroom, all was good! We weren't overly impressed with the restaurant either so we ate at other places along the beach,the food took a very long time to arrive, the service wasn't great, and in one instance didn't arrive at all and was over priced for you got.

The secluded location, outdoor pool, absolutely beautiful views even from the room, stunning beach location. Very quiet and peaceful

The food was average but over-priced. Is not located near any alternative restaurants but is next to supermarkets and easy to get taxi around the island.

Booked the room with jaccuzi fo our Joneymoon, and it was ok, but to the price we paid, we expected more.

Distance to ferry station is about 40 mins. also distance to full moon party is about 35-40 mins. they do not have room service.

Excellent seaside location with excellent facilities. Very clean.

The rooms dont all have balconies.

Position was perfect on the best beach in Koh Phangan. Good for joggers. Lots of beach restaurants within walking distance. Staff very poor english and Thai as most are from Myanmar. Need training g which is now underway. They do try their best though.

The bayview of our hotel room was just amazing. Haad Yao Beach is our favorite beach on Phangan. The pool was awesome.

The music to the dinner was always the same. So we mostly choiced to have dinner in another restaurant. Low tide at the afternoon makes swimming in the Ocean nearly impossible.

Very nice hotel, clean with beautiful view. Next to the amazing beach.

Haad Yao is a very nice beach and the hotel is pretty well organized.

The chaises longes are not enough for all guests.

The rooms were big and had a good view.

Pretty much hated our stay here. It was outrageously overpriced for the service you receive and the location/safety was terrible. I wouldn't stay here if you had any desire to get to haad rin (or any of the other beaches if not going for the full moon party) as it takes an hour to get there by taxi and costs 400 baht pp. The service was incredibly rude, inefficient and at times completely offensive. The room was totally insecure with the safety deposit box not working and the slide doors to the balcony being broken with no attempt to properly fix it during our stay. Although we are aware that it was New Year so expected some level of noise at night, we didnt expect techno music to be blared from a sub on the beach from 11am to 4am daily. If we wanted that sort of accomodation we would have stayed in had rin and paid £5 a night instead of £50. DO NOT STAY HERE.

El hotel estaba un poco alejado de todo. Si no alquilabas una moto no te podías mover a ningún lado (o taxi) // The hotel was a little far away from everything. If you didn´t rent a motorbike you couldn´t go anywhere (or cab)

The hotel is very close to the beach and the Beach is good. The rooms is britty big and clean :-) Also the pool is very nice!
