- offer 50% discount for b'fast buffet. - good dinner buffet
Torn down in everything, good bed in term of softness but pillow is the worse (not up to holiday inn standard - look like motel pillow) my neck aches when get up. Cheap bed cloth, very tough. Room design and furniture not in proportion.
staff was accommodating. location is close to airport and train station. hotel is located away from the crowded and busy center of the city but it's just a short tuktuk away from it. it has the space and the grounds to spend a relaxing time unlike the crowded, small spaced hotels in the walled city. request for a higher room on the east side of the building for a better view. there's an outdoor terrace good for relaxation.
the hotel is starting to look a little old. hot water runs out sometimes and the water temperature control fluctuates. if the hotel was a little more closer to the city where it would only be a short walk, it would have been better to avoid the tuktuk rides.
The staff were amazing. Prasert Boonsom (Lek), the food and beverage manager was a real professional. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have had in our travels. Suppers were a great combination of eastern and western foods. The true success of a hotel can be measured in that we remember so many of the staff who were good to us. We are thankful to the front desk staff Pao, Kay, Concierge Winit and led by front desk manager Payap. We enjoyed being served by our attentive waiters Mist and Watchee and waitresses Mai (Somjet), Fern and Awl. We also made friends with some of the cooks including Adul (who made great omeletttes) and Joe (who made great barbecues). The pool was clean and refreshing and the gym and weight room was adequate. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
NICE CLEAN HOTEL
A LITTLE FAR FROM CENTER
All you need in one spot. There's a lovely restaurant there too
A lot of the staff are grumpy!
big bed, good breakfast
Room was good with comfortable bed and a nice view of the river and the mountain. River terrace restaurant is nice. Enjoyed the "Loy Krathong" festival celebrations.
Spread for the breakfast can be better. The international buffet dinner on festival night was completely false.
i like room .bed .toilet .hand spray
the bed room
no capets in the setting room
Staff were friendly and helpful, room very good and spacious excellent, breakfast good selection of food
We had a rental car and arriving into Chiangmai from the Lampang highway(11), then heading to the airport, the booking map showed we should make a right hand turn at the junction.(which was named) road names in Chiangmai are small and hard to read especially at night, after driving around for an hour or more and ringing the hotel several times for directions, (staff tried to be helpful but to no avail). we went to the airport and paid a taxi 150Bht to lead the way to the hotel. I never would have found it it had very little relationship to the map. Also the internet cost is too high after paying close to 3000Bht for 1 nights stay
Size of rooms. Nice lobby. Clean and with a friendly staff. Chinese restaurant was excellent and good value for the Saturday buffet.
Had to take taxi to go anywhere Sometimes food on buffet stayed out to long and was not right temp. Deserts were poor. One beer was almost as expensive as rest of meal.
Old Hotel, small swimming pool
Very friendly check-in. Loyalty membership - they traced it automatically without my having asked them about it or telling them I was a member. Large room, American standard. Room with slippers, bathrobes.
Lifts took a bit of time.
this is a beautiful hotel and it's the best one i stayed in on my trip to Thailand
The Location is fantastic.I stayed in the room with river view.I will be back again.
Best Hotel in town, Near the airport. Family mart is on next step. Nice big Room breakfast was full of variety foods.
The room size is big
Facilities are quite old and the breakfast is not that good.
Breakfast was very good
Cleaning of the rooms was very bad and too expensive for the qualità of the room
The friendly, welcoming staff, spacious rooms, comfortable beds
The room is huge.
The interior of our room is a bit old and outdated. The toilet flush couldn't work properly. The shower was poor, the temperature of the water was not hot enough but at one moment it became boiling! The pipe or toilet flush was noisy all day long which affected our sleep! The room (especially the toilet)was huge but useless.Wifi was unstable and couldn't support for 2 devices! The money I paid was not worth for such kind of room!
Many varieties of breakfast from early morning.
Nice corner room with great view. Bedding and room really crisp and clean. Great breakfast that catered for all preferences. Location is good - away from the noise of central Chiang Mai.
Outdoor pool rather small and pool area quite basic - I would have been disappointed if I had planned to use it, but it was too cold anyway. Hotel rather dark inside. Better lighting, brighter carpet may have helped. I thought the room price was expensive, given the lower cost of hotels in Bangkok - for some reason all the Chiang Mai hotels seem pricey.
Everything was good.. staff were friendly and hotel facilities were nice..the room area is suffecient and furnished well... except bathroom was not equipped with shattaf
Bathroom nlt suiting Muslims.. nk shattaf available
Very nice helpful staff, a good bar, the gym isn't too bad and the location is not too far from good food and local markets
We waited 90 minutes for food in the dim sum restaurant without a decent explanation on why it took so long. We got up and left without dinner. No doubt this is not the norm but it was annoying!
All staff very good considering hotel very full
dirty windows and unable to open
