Big bed, wide bathroom, nice location (not too far from city) Poor staff. There was a problem about price when I check outed on Jan 2, 2012. I tried to tell staff that reserved price have already included Vat and Service charges. However, they didn't listen to me at all.

I liked everything about this hotel, I wish if I stayed longer. Helpful, nice staff, clean and comfortable rooms, reasonable prices, its location is easily accessed to most services.

Comfortable rooms, very good breakfast and friendly staff - efficient and courteous but not starchy and overly formal. It is a bit out of the way, so own transport or taxi is required to go most anywhere.

Wi Fi very expensive. I think it's a bit "old fashinoed" to charge for internet/Wi Fi. For todays travellers internet is as needed as towels, linnen etc and should be included in the room rate The expensive Wi Fi is the reason I would not recomend the hotel to others.

I liked the breakfast, the fitness center and the swimming pool. The spacious and confortable bedrooms. The amability of the staf. The hotel is near the center of city and very near of the airport. I didn't like the design of the bedroom, which is a little bit old.

All staff very helpful and they even upgraded us for our honeymoon. Great shower and nice breakfast with terrace and view on the river. Huge hall and concierge helped us for tour booking, shuttle to night Market and bus station. Perfect stay! Definitely recommend. Location is a bit away from center but it takes only 10 minutes by Tuktuk for 80 Bahts.

This is my 3rd stay at Holiday Inn, Chiangmai. With this price at Songkran season, it is value for money. All rooms here are quite big compared to the price we pay and it is comfortable with big screen TV. I like strong shower as most chain hotels have, I guess. I really like big twin beds and 3 different height pillows on each bed. By car, I can drive within 5 minutes to arrive nice restaurants or Maenam ( River ) Ping. I personally may have to stay here again which is not a problem for me, because it is close to where the people I know in Chiangmai live and it is convenience for them to see me. Breakfast at Riverside is great. By foot, it may be not very close to shopping or many interesting sites.

Convenient for my guests as it is right next to my condo building The girls at reception were rude. I put guests into this hotel regularly, but because the hotel was busy at this time, my past custom was dis-regarded and they tried to charge me a very high walk-in price. Fortunately, i later managed to get this reduced after a further night booked thro' booking.com, however the reception staff were still rude.

“We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij De Chai. De kamers zijn echt geweldig ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. De ligging is erg goed maar je bent met een tuk tuk overal erg snel.
