Location and service
Breakfast could have more choices for vegetarians
Sunset bar is the hotel's best feature The beach is very quiet in that area, though not very big
Highly overrated, prices are the highest of the entire island and staying at the hotel there are not many options regarding food and tours. It's very secluded from other places of the island. Outdated room decoration There were none working DVDs and the collection is very limited Very slow service from the staff
Great beach bungalow Great quiet beach Easy access to cheaper tours then offered on main land Great food Great service
Pricey- £200 for one night Needs a little upgrading
The staff is absolutely over the standard. My just married wife is celiac (a food allergy), and they took care of her at every moment, so she did not worry at all about the food! Many thanks!!
Comfort, good food and relaxed atmosphere.
The location was great. Easy to get about to and from the other islands.
The staff are untrained and hard to communicate with, which lead to several ensuing problems, an example is when we arrived no one properly informed us of the activities and options available (ie pin going table, fishing, badminton) they never told us they had them - we just stumbled upon them. The staff never properly explained how to go about the island (taking a boat to/from to visit neighboring bays). At check-in we realized Our bed was broken and when we complained they put blankets under the "spring-less" area which did not help. Breakfast was not good either - dried out food and flies everywhere. Unfortunately it was a bad experience with them. Yet the location is great. If you know what to expect then you would certainly enjoy it
,the beach, the pool, the atmosphere
everything was great
Location away from noisy Ton Sai Bay. Good facilities and good beach.
Hotel not getting back to me about a transfer from the ferry in Ton Sai. Had to pay a shady long tail boat operator 1200 Baht to get to hotel, only to have the boat break down before getting there. Staff greeting us on the beach did not help out when I was trying to explain that I shouldn't pay that much after a harrowing experience.
Staff very friendly and helpful, they gave us a free upgrade for being on honeymoon. Beautiful location and amazing infinity pool. Snorkelling gear provided free of charge.
Hotel should provide a shuttle service from main pier as locals try to rip tourists off. More indoor activities should be provided as there is hardly anything to do when its raining. Resort would benefit from some entertainment staff
Sagging bed, poor food quality, poor wifi, rooms were not cleaned very well, poor bathrooms, shower barely had water, fruit flies in the room, overpriced excursions, overall not a good value for the money. Would never stay the again.
Beautiful and exotic resort, very comfortable bed, nice and helpful staff, very good breakfast. Very beautiful and calm cost without croud of people. It's an expensive resort, but it's worth it! There is only one restaurant outside the resort - it advantage and disadvantage. It's good restaurant and you should eat there your dinner and not at the resort (price an quality). In general, we liked it and felt in paradise:-)
The bungalo was nice, but it's allways is closed with curtains beause you can see everything from outside (may be they should do blackened windows!). We didn't like the dinner - it was very expensive and not tasty. All the prices at the resort are without taxes (17%), so know it when you order/buy smth. There is only one restaurant outside the resort - it advantage and disadvantage. It's good restaurant and you should eat there your dinner and not at the resort (price an quality).
Nice rooms, good location very nice staff
Very basic facilities Very few Beach chairs and old fashion and uncomfotable
To far from local town.
Good location, you can just snorker just in front of the beach and you see many kind of coral fish. even a boat trip to other island is cheap!
food in hotel is bad, not much variaty
First day was disappointed, coz we just came from a city But when the sun rised and activities started the previous idea gone and another one took place at instead. They have the greatest pro staff I ever seen. Many complimentary activities available like diving at the pool lessons, kayaking, and snorkeling masks and fans ...etc I highly recommend you to try it if thinking to visit phi phi island
I guess They need to work on the far bungalows those nearly to the jungle. More attention about the wifi service The tables on the bar will be more romantic if you add some candles.
Rooms are big enough and well designed. We had no neighbors as our bungalow was detached. Everything was clean.
Take into account that this place is only reachable by boat, so if you suffer motion sickness you may be stuck there when weather conditions are bad.
hotel is for the ones who are seeking for peace. and good for honeymoon but if you like to have fun in the nights there is nothing to do. maybe we were staying in the low season thats why the island was quiet silent. staff was very friendly and helpful
Beach bungalow with lovely balcony and great views. Staff very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Clean and comfortable rooms.
Decor was a bit dated, mission brown paint used a lot.
The location is excellent. We stayed at a garden view room just a few steps from the beach. We travelled in August and we were 5-6 people in the beach.. We were alone! It takes a while to get there as it's in the top of the island, but the journey totally worthy! The organization is seamless, they take your luggage from the boat and bring them to your room. Stay as much as you can, for us, after almost one month in Asia, this is the place we most like and we're looking forward to come back!
The excursions to Maya beach are quite expensive, so we stayed at the hotel and skip it. The hotel does not include breakfast and it's expensive. Apart from that, it's paradise. I wish I could have stayed more days here.
Beautiful location. I had bungalow 403 which was perfect with a sea view , however not the price of a sea view room. It was halfway between reception and the other side of the complex. Aircon , shower worked very well , bed very comfortable.
Information about the resort on check in needs improvement , eg breakfast times , different pool areas.
Staff and location
The hotel is one of 4 situated on a beautiful stretch of beach which is only reachable by ferry (200 baht or € 5 from Tonsai Bay which is the only "town") or long tail boat. Accomodation consists of bungalows which are very comfortable and many have great views of the beach and are just 5 metres from the sea at high tide. We stayed in two different bungalows: one had solar panels on the roof and plenty of hot water; the other used electric water heating and the water was not hot enough. The room comfort level is very high, the restaurants are correctly priced and offer excellent buffets. Arrival by ferry from Tonsi Bay is a perfectly orchestrated affair. The ferry stops off-shore and a procession of long-tail boats transfer passengers and luggage very efficiently to shore. At low tide a tractor transfers passengers in a trailor from the boats to the dry sand, all with the assistance of a police officer who smilingly helps one to disembark.
The only things we disliked was the aforementioned lack of sufficiently hot water in the second bungalow and the slow internet speed. But overrall, our impression was extremely positive.
Phi Phi Food on the beach at Jasmine Pools Staff
Water only lukewarm for showers
Shadow from trees in the sea during high tide
A lot of noise from tractor movements in the resort No privacy in beach front bungalow - need to have curtains closed 24 hours
