I Residence Hotel Silom  

The location is great, just next to the skytrain station Chong Nonsi. Very nice pool on the roof top. All the staff was very helpful and spoke good English. Basic modern room with a LCD TV.

Sewer smell in the bathroom...

Hotel was conveniently located next to Skytrain station which allowed quick access to all parts of the city.Close to plenty of restaurants to allow for all tastes if you didn't want to eat at hotel all the time. Buffet breakfast was good. Restaurant and pool were well located on roof top overlooking city so very pleasant on a nice evening.Free internet access room was good seeing there was no free wifi. Helpful tour desk and taxi drivers.

Curtain over window in our bathroom was not long enough to direct water into bath and so it ran around bathtub surround and on to floor.

Excellent hotel with ideal location. Just next to bts station, Seven Eleven and also near popular shopping district. Lots of local cheap & good eateries around. Would recommend this hotel and also will come back again.

Big room, great views from the rooftop pool, oh and the pool itself was pretty nice!

Stayed here two years ago. Loved it. Stayed again this year...loved it. Great location, great food stands everyday, 50 meters from the Chong Nonsi bts station (Skytraun), friendly staff, cool rooftop pool.

Over priced.

Room designation is high-level. Nice and beautiful. The location is very good too. It's nearby bts Chong Nochi station, and only 10 or 15 mins walking to Sala Daeng or Silom. Business bar is very convenient. I wanna find some information about my trip line and the airport. But my laptop has no internet for using. Then I went to bb to find out everything I wanted.

The room is not quiet. I was woken up by the noise from the window outside in the morning and didn't sleep at all. The pool I thought is the good point of this hotel. But finally I found that I was wrong. Cause this pool is square size and very small. When you swim, you have to change the swimming directions every second.

I liked the location and welcome from the staff. I needed to iron a shirt and reception contacted housekeeping who brought me an iron and a board within ten mins. Very efficient!!

The undercover/basement check-in is a little grim and makes it feel like one is staying in mulit-storey car park.

The entrance of the hotel is a parking. The room was dirty, stains on the floor, dirty sheets, there was dust everywhere and the bathroom was dirty too. L'entrée de l'hotel est un parking. La chambre était sale, des taches sur la moquette, les draps étaient sales, il y avait de la poussière un peu partout et la salle de bain était également sale.

Location is good that very near to the bts station takes about 3 minutes walking, some food stalls, cafe, 7-11, spa centre around the corner, nothing exciting to be explored around then in a cbd area but it's okay you can take the metro by 3 stations to reach the Siam. Room is great! Cozy, decent, simple but modern, very clean and comfortable bed with a sofa! Nice decor and basically included with everything you need,

Roof top pool looks nice and could be enjoyable just want a dip in water or children have fun, howvever too tiny for adult and you have to pass all the way to the cafe then reach the pool so it doesn't look good after getting wet and be watched all the way back to room with no changing nearby! You may make a better choice for leisure or outdoor swimming.

The staff were friendly. It was in a prime location as the sky train was less than 100 yards away.

Staff didn't speak very good English so when asked if there was a pool on the roof they could not answer. When asked if there was a party on the roof new years eve they again could not answer. The pool was beautiful and the party on the roof would have been brilliant if there were other people than me, my partner and the staff.

The location

The staff did not know how to use my debitcard for payment. I was given the wrong room, even though it was confirmed by e-mail. The gym was closed for renovation. The pool was off and on not accessible due to renting it out for parties or renovation.
