Impiana Samui Resort and Spa

Hotel is lovely. We like the nice design along steep slope which gives you a wide open view to the sea. Our stay was really nice and quiet - you don't have to queue for any service, be it romantic seaside dinner table or billiard, not to say benches beside the lovely pool or on the beautiful beach. Breakfast was good. Towel change fast, plus clean and warm. Shuttle bus to the town was quite helpful. Small restaurants nearby taste good and were a lot cheaper, quite convenient.

Our sea-facing cottage isn't the best of the kind, actually facing message stands, not really noisy but it's not a pleasant view. Sheer curtain and headboard not so clean, and the air-con gets a bit noisy in the night. A 40 min long walk along the beach (and across First House in the middle) to centre of Chaweng was nice, but when you want to buy beer and some grocery or eat out it's really a bit too far. But I guess you have make some compensation if you want serenity.

Friendly staff, reasonably priced food and drinks with all-day happy hour on drinks, ample sun loungers on the beach, long breakfast hours in the morning and excellent free shuttle up the road to Chaweng Beach centre (5 minutes ride) and great free Wi-Fi in the rooms (bring laptop).

The pool was a little on the small side but most guests preferred the warm sea.

the staff were not helpfull, they were chatting each other and didtn't care the customers. they were not well prepared and give different information. ie: I asked if we could have a transfer to the airport and the receptionist told me yes it's free, when I had to go to the airport they told me I had to pay.

This hotel has a beach massage centre either official or not that is great my wife did not like the hotel spa as it was to near the beach bar and it's music

Friendly staff,helpful at all times,the proximity to the beach and the stylish property make a fantastic experience.All room amenities very thoughtfully placed.Great mojitos...miss them.

Too many mosquitoes and insects prevalent all over - hotel should include a housekeeping service during evening for this.

My son was married in Koh Samui and I thought it was great to be able to spend quality time with everyone who went to the wedding because my son lives in London and I hadn't seen him for 2 1/2 years.

The beds could have been a little softer.

This was my second time I stayed at Impiana. I love everything about it! Beautiful hotel, nice and clean rooms, nice pool area, excellent Spa, amazing view!! The hotel is right on the beach =) The ocean is so nice, the water is crystal clear! You have your own beach chair aswell! A nice beach bar wich playes soft music!

The hotel is about 10 min by car from the Chaweng city with all the shopping and bars and restaurant, and the taxis are too expensive here. 200 Baht! In Bkk or Hua hin for example we only pay 100 Baht..

I liked that it was on the beach and the breakfast included each morning was great.

The staff speaks very little English and unfortunately is unable to offer any help with outside bookings of tours or any other questions you may have about getting around.

The pool is in a dark area so it didnt get used much by the guests. The entertainment in the hotel was the same most nights and as the restaurant is quite pricey I would expect much more. The hotel courtesy bus into chaweng should be more frequent.The beach bar is way too pricey.
