the hotel location for shopping is great and close to the main big malls,,the food is very good ,,, and the staff is just excellent and so friendly and helping with the usual smile of the Thai people.Chit lom train station is steps away. the variety of the menu could be better

Excellent as usual, Intercon. A comfortable, well-appointed room with all the little extras I've come to expect from your hotels. A lovely young woman at the check-in desk taught us how to say "Happy New Year" in Thai. A nice example of "above and beyond" service (and I have high standards for service in hotels). The experience really enhanced our few days in Bangkok... I will stay with you again and again!

A fantastic hotel with wonderful rooms and the most comfortable hotel beds we ever slept in. The staff was so helpful and kind. We stayed in two double room with Club lounge benefits which was fantastic - so much good value for the room rate. Free food and drinks in the Club lounge at happy hour, free access to the fitness rooms with "personal trainers", pools etc. The fitness room was situated on the 36 floor with a fantastic view of Bangkok city, there was the gym staff ready to help you whenever you needed them, it was like having a personal trainer. The breakfast in the Club lounge was also fantastic with everything you could ask for.freshly made fruit juices, blueberrry pancakes, tasteful omelettes, fresh tropical fruits, croissants with home made marmalades. The staff was really helpful and nice they made our stay memorable. We loved this hotel and could really highly recommend it.

Central locatioon and grand lobby. Great food and service (both in the lobby and the Intercontinental Club for breakfast). Friendly and helpful staff. Nice, big rooms. A little pricey for Bangkok. So central that traffic is a problem getting in and out of the hotel.

Fantastic Hotel. The hotel staff are very good. The facilities are great. The most important thing in a hotel room for me is the bed, which was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel. For the price, I would expect the internet access and breakfast to be included.

Intercon offers probably the best location for those looking for convinience. It's close to most of the best shopping spots in bangkok and is just next to the skytrain station and Erawan Shrine. It's occasionally noisy at night due to the skytrains and the never-sleeping busy streets.

Location is central to Bangkok I enquired prior to booking to check if the Fox News Channel and Superbowl was available to guests. I had confirmation it was but upon arrival it wasn't. None of the desk personnel seemed to care and even though the manager confirmed in an email to me it was - I heard nothing during my stay their from them. I wouldn't have normally minded so much but the fact that I took the trouble to contact to confirm it's availability would normally illicit some sort of reply I would have thought after finding it wasn't on. Why would an icon of US hotel chains not be showing the most popular cable news program and yet have upwards of 6+ islamic channels to cater to those travellers. I have no issue with them having that variety but not showing Fox News Channel is sub standard.

The club room is very good. We can enjoy afternoon tea, cocktail party in club. The food and drink are very nice. The hotel locates in central city, several big shopping centers nearby, very convience.

Nice Lobby area and sited very close to BTS and Saim Square. 24 hour gym access. Staff were not as helpful and friendly as in other hotels.THe hotel is overpriced compared to others. The room was basic and looking a little tired . With its reputation and cost per night I had expected much better. At this price breakfast and internet should be included.

Very good location and the staff were excellent - incredibly responsive and pleasant. I arrived at 08-30 in the morning after an overnight flight and my room was ready which was really excellent. I would highly recommend and look forward to returning.

“Abbiamo scelto questo albergo soprattutto per la posizione anche perché Bangkok e' una di quelle città che non ha un vero e proprio centro. La vicinanza ad entrambe le linee dello Skytrain e' fondamentale. Ma quello che ci ha sorpreso piu' di tutto e' che di un albergo così bello e così ben strategicamente posizionato non se ne parli in nessuna delle guide della città'. Addirittura Maps di Apple lo ignora!! Se non fosse stato per il giudizio di Booking che viceversa ne parla molto bene e che ha attirato la nostra attenzione lo avremmo sicuramente ignorato anche noi. Punti di forza : a) la vista dalle camere soprattutto all alba e al tramonto b) la qualita' di un 5 stelle ad un prezzo di un 2/3 stelle di Roma...
