Very few single parents with kids Difficult to get out of resort without needing to take a long taxi ride Concierge service was poor, they were disinterested and not able to provide helpful info...just gave me the tourist brochures

The service level of staff has dropped since our last visit 3 years ago.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic pools, great view ,food and location

the constant noise of the engines near the breakfast restaurant (only near the escalator) and near the room! The breakfast should have more home-made bakery, home-made birchermuesli, non-salted butter and fresh orange juice!

1. The Kid's club looks worn out and has a stale odour. It definitely needed more upkeep and freshness to it for a more enjoyable experience to the kids. 2. We requested thru booking.com for airport transfer, however we were not notified of any confirmation. When we arrived at HKT airport we were pleasantly welcome by a JW employee that promptly whisked us to a 'limo'. But were unpleasantly surprise and it gave us a shocked when we were billed 1400Baht for the ride from airport to hotel. We had done our own research for the taxi rates which usually cost in the range of 700-800Baht. We feel we were being taken advantage of in this matter and booking.com should at least notify us the taxi rates before making the 'limo' reservation.

Excellent facilities, a lot of good restaurants options, swimming pool and general activities. Concierge service and staff very helpful. very good accommodations. The hotel infrastructure is outstanding!

The hotel is a little bit far from sighseeings like Ko Phi Phi Islands, Krabi, etc... You have about 40-50 minutes from the hotel to the Phuket marine

Absolutely amazing place! Though they should clearly state that their beach isnt available for swimming!! I saw reviews about their beach being clean compared to patong etc but never knew we couldnt go for a swim. This was the only outdoor activity since its pretty far from the main city. Overall great experience!

We moved to this hotel after a disasterour stay at The Centara Grand Karon Beach. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Housekeeping excellent ( plenty of towels etc), and loved the aromatherapy associates toiletries! So much to do at the resort, especially for children, The Kids/teens programme is extensive. Food was very good, always hot, and served quickly (room service) Breakfast at the Cafe was extensive and excellent quality. The Deli had lovely fresh breads and great daytime/evening menu. Sun loungers very comfortable and pool side assistants very quick. Would definitely recommend a ground floor garden room. Balconies upstairs looked dark and small. Staff were very attentive and super pleasant, especially with the children. Hotel very swift to rectify any issues (front desk noticed our phone was crackling when we made a call to them, within minutes an engineer arrived!). Lovely cafetier and tea/coffe in the room. Excellent to have the mosquito plugs in provided. The little turtles on check out were a nice touch for the children. Over all absolutely loved the hotel, couldn't really fault it, just a few small 'pointers' below

The loaction worked for us as we had already spend 10 days South, but I can see it being a minus for many people. Its not really close to any attractions. However, if you really want to do Fantasy etc, I would spend a day or two around karon area and then head back North. Very disappointed the pool slide was not working. It was a big pull to move my children from Centara, and to arrive and it wasn't working didn't go down well! It is more expensive than the average Thai hotel, especially for groceries from the Deli, but for the convenience and quality couldn't really complain. Go to Turtle mart 5 min walk. The bed they made up for our son was so uncomfortable that he ended up sleeping in with us. The idea is lovely on the traditional Thai style recess, but it was like sleeping on cardboard!

i really liked the way the resort is built, amazing architecture , very quite and private, especially as i was traveling with a 2 and a 4 year old, i was very comfortable as it was a safe place with limited people around. and there was ample to do to keep the kids busy.

i liked every thing about it.

Very friendly staff, very comofy rooms, free wifi, and one of the best swimming pools I have ever seen.

One of my best hotel expiriences

We enjoyed staying in this hotel. It is good for families with children under 12 (there are a kid's pool, kid's room and other entertainment for kids) as well as for romantic couples. The territory is spacious and with the mixture of the wild nature. The hotel was fully booked but it didn't seem to be crowded.

The beach is not that clean as you could expect from the 5-star hotel. There are some scary pipes crossing the beach and, I suppose, polluting the sea. But you don't notice this if you prefer staying near a pool. The price for dining is extraordinary for Thailand and there are few places to dine outside the hotel as it is located far from any village. Plus you always should remember that you'll pay 17% of taxes in addition (E.G. an ordinary dinner for 2 without wine costs around 3,500-4,000 Baht incl. Taxes).

Excellent hotel for family vacation. Lots of activities for all family. 3 swimming pools and very good service as well as food choises. Hotel food and activities are pricy.

酒店设计漂亮，东南亚泰式的风格。服务生很热情。我们入住期间正是复活节假期，客人很多。

早餐不太丰富，而且每天都要等位。餐厅很多，口味不算太好。我们定了海景房但是只能看到一点点海，都被植物- 遮住了。酒店位置很远，出行不太方便。

sehr schöne Hotelanlage, hervorragendes Essen nicht ganz billig aber eben man ist was man isst. Freundliches und hoch motiviertes Personal, Profis eben. Sehr schöner Hotelgarten ganz toller Sandstrand. Super für Erholungssuchende. Aktion gibt es auch, aber es ist kein muss und wenn, dann angenehm gestaltet.

O hotel é maravilhoso, enorme! 3 piscinas grandes, sauna, academia, esportes aquáticos, bicicleta, 12 restaurantes que oferecem diferentes tipos de gastronomia, tudo o que se pode imaginar de bom, até bebê elefante. O quarto também super confortável, colchão e travesseiros como eu nunca tinha sentido antes. Staff muito atencioso, sempre tentando oferecer o melhor serviço possível. Café da manhã inigualável; noodle soup, pães, queijos, macarrão, arroz, ovo de diversas formas, waffle...qualidade excelente. Praia linda e deserta. Ambiente muito relaxante.

Comparado com o restante da Tailândia, as refeições possuíam um preço elevado, mas a qualidade era excelente. Eles cobram uma taxa de 40 baths por dia para conservação das tartarugas.
