Kata Beach Center Hotel    

The hotel room was very big and decorated quite nicely.

The hotel doesn't have a swimming pool like they say! Quite disappointing since the beach is quite far! If you want to go to the closer beach you need to walk beside a very smelly and dirty canal. Alternatively you can rent a scooter. Kata is not a nice place.

The staff was very friendly and helpful in any case. The area is very peaceful and quiet. There is a building construction next to the place, but it's not disturbing. After all I liked to stay there, though it is rather a 3* hotel.

The hotel refused to do any modification with my booking 3 week before my stay. When I asked them to modify my booking, they immediately sent a pre authorization to my creditcard and kept the whole amount in hold till I checked out. It was not too friendly.

Nice peaceful location and close to city centre and beach. Close to Kata Noi beach which is well worth a visit. Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. Excellent value for money.

Situated in a nice quiet area, only a 10 minute walk from shopping centre and Kata beach. Also Kata Noi beach is about a 30 minutes walk away and is well worth a visit. No shortage of good, food outlets and reasonable priced restaurants.

The staff went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. They helped with luggage, directions, trip plans and accommodation arrangements. We were very impressed. The rooms and all facilities were very clean, staff spoke English a fair amount and the restaurant was very good as well.

It is a ten minute walk or so to the beach, which is the only minor downside. The walk goes through the business district so it's still convenient.

The location was quite good, easy reach to Kata and Karon.

Only a small issue, I do not like shower curtains.

The cleanliness of this hotel made up for everything else. In fairness, I didn't do much exploring of the property, but I was very impressed with my room.

Nothing once I got there. However, I had emailed and called a few times to confirm my reservation and request help with transportation from the airport. They never responded. Very poor customer service in that regard.

Basic inrichting van de kamer. Goedkope materialen, beetje afgetrapt. Geen bedlampje, geen telefoon. Voor 79 euro per nacht verwacht ik meer. Waarschijnlijk is de beoordeling op Booking.com gebaseerd op de tijd dat er ander management in het hotel zat. In mei 2012 is dat gewijzigd.

Their restaurant is very bad. I would advise against eating there. The water heater for the shower was either blistering hot, or off completely.

really nice, rooms are as they are in the photos, staff is helpful, location is great just away from crowded market and quiet.. but at the same time just walkable in 5/7 minutes

Das Frühstück ist nicht mit deutschem Standart vergleichbar und gestaltet sich landestypisch eher bescheiden. Wurst, Käse und Brotauswahl gibt es nicht. Dafür gibt es einen Art Bohnenbrei und Miniwürstchen im Wasserbad. Man kann aber auf "Eier nach Wahl" ausweichen. Der Wellnessbereich (Nachbargebäude) befand sich während der 3 Wochen Urlaubszeit im Umbau und wird zukünftig nicht mehr durch das "Kata Beach Hotel" betrieben.

Il personale è disponibile e gentile. La zona tranquilla

La via più veloce per raggiungere la spiaggia (l'altra è due km più lunga) passa di fianco ad un fosso usato come scarico e l'odore è nauseabondo. Per raggiungere la spiaggia sarebbe stato meglio noleggiare uno scooter (ma ho un bimbo di tre anni pertanto non l'ho fatto) o prendere un tuk tuk, ma considerando che nelle ore caldo tornavamo in albergo (quindi 4 viaggi al giorno) sarebbe stato un po' troppo costoso. Ero nella sede distaccata e per fare colazione dovevo scendere in strada e raggiungere la reception.
