Great garden fantastic staff. lovely swimming pool. The Deluxe rooms were really big. food was good. The staff were brilliant they made the stay much more enjoyable. it was very relaxing as we were a party of 21 and the staff made us feel very welcome. The hotel is very near the National Park so it makes a good base.

No WiFi at all (advertised as having free WiFi) no laundry service (advertised as having free laundry service) no selection of alcohol at bar. beds really hard. as this hotel is situated on a busy road you need to get taxis every where if you do not have your own transport which makes it very expensive. As the restaurant is on a very busy road the traffic noise is disturbing.

Rooms, swimmingpool (small but nice). Nice garden and entourage. Near to Khao Yai.

Excellent tour to the jungle, bat cave, market, hiking, great tour guide....the staff is super nice, they came and get us to bus station, which is about 15min away, for free, and a ride back when we went home. Right next to gas station and 7-eleven. Would definitely recommended anyone who'd like to see a national park and needed a place to stay.

Not so good lunch, although breakfast was awesome.

I loved that the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located and in good conditions in general. I had read in Lonely Planet that it was "worn out" and it is true, but the value for the money is great. The absolute highlight of our trip was, however, the tour of the National Park that we booked with the hotel! An absolute MUST! The guide was funny, friendly, nice, helpful and, most of all, always willing to do whatever it took to show us as many animals as he could find. I learned that you can book their tours even if you do not stay at their hotel which is good to know but I would not recommend not staying there. It is a nice hotel with good food, big rooms and a nice garden. I truly recommend it.

One of the very few things that was a definite no for me is that there is no coffee served in the hotel. Only instant. That was a disappointment. Another "detail" is that the hotel is comprised of several small buildings in a big garden, which logically means there are all sort of bugs and animals. We found a few ants in our bed the first night we arrived, there were small centipedes in the bathroom everyday and an occasional gecko. Nevertheless, if you have in mind that this will happen pretty much IN ANY HOTEL in a very humid tropical weather location, it was not bad at all. It is not pleasant but we live in Bangkok and things like that can happen in the most expensive buildings in the city so it was not a big deal. Definitely not a reason not to stay there.

    The room was big.

I requested two twin beds and they did not provide them. The booking included free use of bikes, but they were charging. All of the ads offer elephant rides, but they no longer have these. The bed was hard, the staff could not communicate with the guests in English, the food was not that good, but very expensive. They do not offer dry passage between the room and the restaurant when it is raining.

I loved the gardens, atmosphere, friendly attentive staff, attempts to maintain the tradition of the hotel even though the original owners have passed away, excellent guide on the "bat" tour. They had a nice simple swimming pool. They are reasonably close to the National Park. They were attentive to the children and made it easy to keep the children happy.

The length of time to receive the meals.

    Location, staff and helpful personalities.

Honestly, nothing. They were very accommodating. Thai food prices (strictly from someone who has lived here for a year, though

The friendliness of (most of) the staff. They even put up a show for the customers one evening.

The difficulty to get to Bangkok from here by public transport.

    - Hygiene is very poor (cockroach in our bathroom) - uncooperative staff. - tour is not always available, they don't help you to go to another touroperator. - good for you to know that Green Leaf Guesthouse (just 400 meters away across the road) offers excellent tours and are much friendlier.

The staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful and wanting us to make the most of our stay in the National Park. We did three days trekking and birdwatching with a fabulous guide who spotted birds we would never have seen. The elephants were a highlight. Always the hotel was a quiet refuge from a busy day. Food excellent and sense of family came out in the great Friday evening 'show'.

This lodge is situated between Pak Chong and Khao Yai National Park. After arriving in Pak Chong by bus, free transport to the lodge was arranged within 10 minutes by someone near the busstation. Very nice, clean room, with terrace, very friendly staff, beautiful large garden and beautiful swimming pool. We made a 1-day visit to the national park with rangers from the Lodge, and visited the Bat Cave, a ride on an elephant and took a cooking course. Everything was perfectly arranged by the Lodge. Very pleasant stay en would certainly recommend this place. Bruno and Chris - Belgium

    Nothing really.

    freindly staff

Room too humid (avoid the room number 12), bathroom dirty, breakfast really bad (cold, no good choice), restaurant located along the road (polution, noise), far from Khao Yai. Even if the staff is friendly, they didnt help us to provide any transportation to Khao Yai except their own tour, and even they don't know anything about bus or motobike for rent. Swimmming pool too cold and little dirty.

    Very clean and spacey rooms

Breakfast: you have to choose one option! Cereals and toast together is not possible.

Super friendly staff. The tours arranged by Khao Yai Garden Lodge are splendid. The guides will go an extra mile to make sure they deliver a great experience. Rooms at the back of the park are superb, rooms in the front are a bit worn out. The best place to stay in Khao Yai!

Menu isn't very interesting or tasteful.
