Location, layout of hotel, nice and quiet Room very big
our only dislike was the size and position of the bed
Our room was comfortable except for the bed, which was very hard and the pillows were huge and hard. The pool was nice and refreshing on hot days. The gardens were pretty.
The place is a bit worn in places.
Staffs are nice, with service mind. Room was big with comfortable day bed. Kids like it. They loved riding their bicycle around the place. Thai food tasted great.
Poor maintenance of the hotel facilities.
Restaurant and staff. Bat watching tour was excellent and great value for money.
The hotel is some distance from the National park itself however the hotel organises tours and transport at reasonable cost if you don't have your own car.
Very big room, really good breakfast
The hotel provides shuttle bus to pick us from Pakchong bus station. It is very convenient. Not very far from Khao Yai National park. What the greatest is the tour to the national park. The guide is very good!!
The sheet is a little bit humid.
The room was amazing!
Beds are as rock hard as in China!
The hotel has excellent guide of kauai national park.Experienced guide with we saw many animals, especially see elephants, it charges and the wizard's experience and sense of responsibility.
Facilities a bit old.
The staff are all very nice and kind. They will try to accommodate your requests to the best, sometimes beyond what is required from them, e.g. I had to leave the hotel at 4am on Saturday for a running event and as the breakfast starts at 7am, they pre-packed my breakfast (sandwich) the night before.
The bathroom is kind of old and low pressure of shower. The air-conditioned in the room is making clucking sound that is quite disturbing at night.
Nice garden in the hotel, quiet and peaceful. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good guides to the national park.
Not so central, a small shop and a big restaurant in Walking distance.
It's close to the attractions - literally wild elephants, monkeys and all sorts of things in the nature reserve. The staff were above average, absolutely amazing and attentive. The hotel itself is very nice nd the grounds are well kept. The restaraunt has some really good food.
Compared to other places I've been in Thailand it was a little more expensive overall for everything, but i don't regret anything at all. My only other complaint was that the wifi didn't work in my room and even in the restaraunt some of the time. This was a minor issue as there are a lot of activites to be done on a daily basis.
Amazing location next to khao yai national park On site tour office to book tours with Clean room with toiletries/kettle and tea making facilities included! Friendly, helpful staff. Good choice of breakfast included in the price. Lots of wildlife within the resort!
Bedroom probably a bit OTT for what we needed.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and spacious.
The pool area is old and worn down. The restaurant is next to the street which is very noisy.
Our tourguide was brilliant - great knowledge and excellent English.
+ Helpful staff + Pool is good
- Fotos especially of the bathroom far away from the reality. Simplest room and small sections of mildew in the bathroom. Also the water system was not close - To reduce the noise of the main street the hotel plays loud music - Only 2 tour offers and no further competitors
We had one of the more expensive rooms with AC, balcony etc. Friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us. Lovely (massive) room and nice pool area. Breakfast is decent. really great 1.5 day tour available through the lodge. I would unreservedly recommend this place to my friends.
Great garden fantastic staff. lovely swimming pool. The Deluxe rooms were really big. food was good. The staff were brilliant they made the stay much more enjoyable. it was very relaxing as we were a party of 21 and the staff made us feel very welcome. The hotel is very near the National Park so it makes a good base.
No WiFi at all (advertised as having free WiFi) no laundry service (advertised as having free laundry service) no selection of alcohol at bar. beds really hard. as this hotel is situated on a busy road you need to get taxis every where if you do not have your own transport which makes it very expensive. As the restaurant is on a very busy road the traffic noise is disturbing.
Rooms, swimmingpool (small but nice). Nice garden and entourage. Near to Khao Yai.
Excellent tour to the jungle, bat cave, market, hiking, great tour guide....the staff is super nice, they came and get us to bus station, which is about 15min away, for free, and a ride back when we went home. Right next to gas station and 7-eleven. Would definitely recommended anyone who'd like to see a national park and needed a place to stay.
Not so good lunch, although breakfast was awesome.
The staff was very friendly and efficient. It was easy to find. It was very secluded, quiet and restful.
Everything, from the staff being helpful and friendly. the tour guides were great and knowledgeable. Clean room, pool was great, nice and quiet. cant say enough highly recommend.
I loved that the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located and in good conditions in general. I had read in Lonely Planet that it was "worn out" and it is true, but the value for the money is great. The absolute highlight of our trip was, however, the tour of the National Park that we booked with the hotel! An absolute MUST! The guide was funny, friendly, nice, helpful and, most of all, always willing to do whatever it took to show us as many animals as he could find. I learned that you can book their tours even if you do not stay at their hotel which is good to know but I would not recommend not staying there. It is a nice hotel with good food, big rooms and a nice garden. I truly recommend it.
One of the very few things that was a definite no for me is that there is no coffee served in the hotel. Only instant. That was a disappointment. Another "detail" is that the hotel is comprised of several small buildings in a big garden, which logically means there are all sort of bugs and animals. We found a few ants in our bed the first night we arrived, there were small centipedes in the bathroom everyday and an occasional gecko. Nevertheless, if you have in mind that this will happen pretty much IN ANY HOTEL in a very humid tropical weather location, it was not bad at all. It is not pleasant but we live in Bangkok and things like that can happen in the most expensive buildings in the city so it was not a big deal. Definitely not a reason not to stay there.
The room was big.
I requested two twin beds and they did not provide them. The booking included free use of bikes, but they were charging. All of the ads offer elephant rides, but they no longer have these. The bed was hard, the staff could not communicate with the guests in English, the food was not that good, but very expensive. They do not offer dry passage between the room and the restaurant when it is raining.
very large room, good breakfast, nice staff.
a bit small swimming pool, no telephone in room.
I loved the gardens, atmosphere, friendly attentive staff, attempts to maintain the tradition of the hotel even though the original owners have passed away, excellent guide on the "bat" tour. They had a nice simple swimming pool. They are reasonably close to the National Park. They were attentive to the children and made it easy to keep the children happy.
The length of time to receive the meals.
