We enjoyed our stay in the hotel (4 nights). The room is spacious and clean and the buffet breakfast was good! Great location for restaurants and bars, and is easy to get around with local tuk-tuk.
Very central position, helpful and friendly staff, nice decor, clean. Lovely outdoor sitting area for the breakfast; and good quality, super cheap restaurant
The sorrounding area is very poor, poor wifi (but is available in all the hotel and fast computers are available in the lobby) some employees didn't speak good English.
The friendly staff, position, good buffet breakfast, pool and most of all even though the the hotel was fully booked it was so quiet at night.
Location was good Large room Nice large bathroom Grounds are nice
Desk staff friendly enough but not super helpful No information about anything at check in Ants on breakfast buffet Could be a lovely boutique hotel but misses out on it
Our stay was really enjoyable. Staff were really friendly, helpful and accommodating. Great location in Old Town. Close to markets and easy to get around. Cute cats stay around the hotel too. Really friendly
Value for money, great location, staff very welcoming and friendly, small and homely with a high end feel.
Great pool, very helpful staff, nice lounge area, central location, lovely and clean rooms.
No restaurant to speak of (although great breakfast) - but not a problem as there are plenty of great places to eat very close by.
Breakfast, wifi, helpful staff, location, pool, room and the bathroom.
The Thai style ambiance was very nice. Our room was comfortable & clean with plenty of room. The included breakfast was great & all the staff were very friendly. The pool & surrounds are very pretty with a gym for those who feel the need. The location was great for restaurants, bars, markets etc. or a cheap ride in a local tuk-tuk will take you to your destination. In conclusion, a very pleasant stay, & would recommend this hotel
Room and bed is quite comfortable. Service is great and staffs are helpful and friendly. Breakfast is delicious and various. The location of this hotel is very suitable for tourists.
Wifi is unstable. A little bit expensive.
We have enjoyed our stay very much. No complaints only compliments about the service and breakfast. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was good too.
Re the room it would be more comfortable if there had been two chairs and a small table instead of two low stools. There also needs to be some storage drawers in addition to the hanging space provided.
The location is perfect in old town, it is absolutely a very good hotel.
Location and good services from hotel staffs
Friendly and helpful staff, nice room, good pool, lovely cats and kittens, eggs cooked to order at breakfast, very reasonable price
The internet connection in the room was not always good
Excellent hotel, helpful staff, lovely grounds.
nice place, pool is awesome, food excellent and room spacious and clean. staff were very friendly and helpful.
not enough space around the pool for sitting, otherwise all good.
The way we were treated. The staff went out of there way to please us.
Let me think........ Hummm. Sorry can't think of anything I didn't like.
The late checkout policy
In Summary, this is the place to stay at when visiting Chiang Mai. And by the way, I'm a very picky person. Room was spacious, and bathroom very comfortable. Hotel design is really nice and the neighborhood is excellent.
No nice view from the room; but what the hell .. get out the room and enjoy the city!
I was thoroughly impressed on how well such an older building was maintained. The gardens were well pruned and nurtured, all the wood fixtures were well oiled and dusted. The room was modernized and extremely clean.
1.) There really wasn't a place to set the tray for room service orders. It would be wise if a collapseable table, to match the wood within the room, were affixed to the wall. The desk was of good taste, but impractical because it was too small. 2.) The hot water in the shower was difficult to regulate, too much fluctuation between hot and cold. 3.) The robes were nice, but were a little too small, it would be better if they were made of cotton or wool instead of rayon.
1. Staff was very attentive and resourceful when necessary - always pleasant. They book many excursions and followed up when the driers were late. Bravo to staff! 2. It felt like a oasis on arrival - quiet, calm, pretty. I was greeted by staff that knew who I was and had a nice drink and cool washcloth ready for me. 3. Room is beautiful. Linens are top quality and changed daily. 4. Breakfast was interesting and abundant. Does not have western or European foods. That was okay with me, but might out off many.
I must start this section by saying I would return. I loved staff and extended my stay by several days because the location and hotel were great. Here are some suggestions for improvement: 1. Charging electronics was tough because there were few outlets and I think when I left the room the electricity to the outlets was turned off. While this is a great conservation measure, it was tough to keep my iPad, iPhone and camera charged. That's why I rated the faculty good not great. 2. Comfort - I rated good not great because the bed is typical thai not western and it's very hard. A softer mattress would be more typical for a western hotel and would have been more comfortable for me. 3. Value - I believed the cost of the room included airport transportation. When I arrived the hotel told me I arrived too late (7:30pm) that the driver wasn't available. This was ok as I'd just booked my stay 90 minutes earlier. But on departure tomorrow, I was told my room didn't include transportation. Hmmm.
Check out clerck was of no help in getting a cab to the airport.
The hotel is very beatiful. The breakfast is awesome. The pool is a quiet oasis, with the gym overlooking it. The rooms are really pretty, with a nice patio. I loved this place
The wifi is a little slow, but that's just Thailand
The living environment, food and services are excellent there.
The wireless connection is slow. A lot of mosquito in the hotel.
