Location is excellent and the staff are brilliant. Super friendly and helpful especially when booking trips etc. I'd definitely recommend Kikie's House as a good place to stay.
Beds in some rooms were pretty average (i.e too firm) Shower/toilet/bathroom was slighty cramped with smelly drain now and then.
They helped very good with you booking a tour. Do the retirement elephant park tour which they offer!!! Thats amazing. Very comforable beds
- I stayed in a dorm and in a private room. The floor in the private room was disgusting. Im in doubt if they have ever cleaned that. - The hangout they have is really small.
Julie was very friendly and willing to help with anything we needed.
Barking dogs at night
Friendly, helpful staff. Good location, good social scene.
5 beds dorm has single bath room the staff there recommend trips which very worth the cost. locate in local resident area very quiet
Clean, well located, cheap
I forgot to check out on time, staff forgot that too. In the evening they charged me for one more night, even though the bed was done by housekeeper and the room was empty (only one guest except me in the dorm). They threatened me to call to police if I refuse to pay what they wanted and reunited against me to make it all my fault. And they shouted at me. You can stay in the place but be aware of the way they make extra money!
Booked my train ticket for me, does cost an extra 100 baht, but easier than going to the train station to blok
Uncomfortable bed. They were painting the dorm bathroom, so it was unusuable during my stay, and the room stank of paint odours, which can be dangerous. 5 bed dorm has 6 beds. Don't know what pictures booking.com show but it isn't this place. Mattress had sunken really badly in centre. Roof top common area is actually a clothes drying area, so nowhere to sit or eat. Floors and stairs are so noisy, sounds like everyone is jumping around. Not clean
Mr.Big at the reception desk speaks super good English and super helpful; if you need cheep taxi for one day trip, Mr.Big will help to figure it out for you! We miss Big! In the old city but near the edge of the city, reasonable distance to everywhere though, since Chiangmai old town is truly not a huge one.
Focilities is ok,but don't expect it to be like a star hotel. No hair dryer;
It was worth what I paid. If looking for somewhere on a budget then this is the place. Staff very helpful and you always feel welcome. Great WIFI and a lovely hot shower.
some areas not very clean, bedding and mosquito nets need replacing
The staff are so kind and friendly and really helpful, the guesthouse is so good for the price you pay, very clean, lovely rooftop where you can see the view of Wat Chiang Mun and the rooftops of Chiang Mai. loved it!
staff are great, really funny and good fun!!!
-animals in the room - really bad shower - not friendly Staff No service at all!!

This hotel owner is so kind.
cheap price, convenient transportation, and the hotel guy is really nice he offer every single information to its guest and free map free wifi all day
accommodation needs to be improved.
Wifi works very well..free tea/coffee..good price
The owner was very nice
The bunk shakes and makes some strange noise when you turn around
Staff proposed good activities and treks.
bathroom in the room, sunroof for laundry
The service is perfect
The staff were very kind and helpful, the location is nice-very close to the North Gate but on a quiet side street. Value for money is decent.
The room itself was quite outdated and was very musty smelling, almost to the point of being overbearing. We did not have the most comfortable night of sleep. Wifi was very iffy.
