Kirikayan Boutique Resort  

Wir hatten ein größeres Zimmer mit einem Whirlpool/Jacuzzi auf dem Balkon. Die Einrichtung, die Sauberkaut und der Blick direkt aufs Meer hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Nachdem wir aus Bangkok gekommen und in dieses Zimmer eingecheckt haben, hat der Urlaub so richtig bekommen. Das Kirikayan können wir weiterempfehlen für alle diejenigen, die trotz "Stadt" und Trubelnähe einen schönen und ruhigen Rückzugsort haben möchten. Vielen Dank nochmal an die Mitarbeiter des Kirikayan, die immer absolut freundlich waren.

Obwohl wir per Email unsere Buchung dem Hotel separat mitgeteilt haben und wir hierzu eine Rückbestätigung erhalten haben, dass mit unserem Aufenthalt, Zimmerwunsch etc. alles I.O., teilte man un sbei Ankunft im Hotel mit, dass alle Zimmer belegt sind !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wir mögen doch bitte auf des Schwester Hotel am Maenem Baech für zwei Tage ausweichen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anzumerken ist, dass wir uns für dieses Hotel U.A. deswegen entscheiden haben, da es an dem schönen Chaweng Beach liegt. Wir haben uns geweigert, in ein anderes Hotel umzuziehen. Nach einer halben Stunde ging es dann doch !?!?!?!?!

Die Deluxe-Duplex-Zimmer (Maisonette-Suite) sind sehr sauber und toll eingerichtet.Große Badewanne, Dusche usw.

Von den nebenanliegenden Zimmern hört man jedes Wort, Toilette, Dusche usw.!

the hotel is excellent and very well priced. the location is great if you are looking for some peace and quiet. the rooms are decorated beautifully very modern and the housekeeping is excellent, the rooms ,the grounds and pool are all very clean and neat. the staff were very nice and helpful. the beach in front of the hotel is very clean and nice the water are good for swimming. the usual salesmen can be found here also but far less than what you find in the center

i like it better when the beach has a lagoon so i can sit in the water comfortably which is what you get further north on chaweng but here the water is deep and has waves- it really depends on your preference. also the rooms do not have a nice balcony to sit in (if any at all) . the garden rooms (delux) are located right on the walk way where everyone can see you and the superior rooms dont have a balcony you can sit in. (but they are far nicer and are the one we recommend )

Highlight would definitely be the creative housekeeper. We often came back with creative towel displays on our bed of loving swans and elephants. Loved it!!!

The air-conditioning! It leaked and made intermittent loud noise. We called the staff twice to fix it but neither had a clue of what needed to be done. Room 1/5 needs the airconditioning changed pronto.

Location is great, right on the beach and away from noisy parties, nice rooms, nice design, clean and new rooms, very friendly staff, great value for money, free Wi-Fi

Ac is installed so it blows right on your bed.. Not very comfortable

This was the last week of our honeymoon. They made a special effort for it. Beautiful room.

Rooms clean and well maintained, pool area lovely and people and staff great. Breakfast is good with options

Don’t be deceived by the photograph on the booking.com site as routinely there is no balcony in the standard /deluxe rooms although there are seats on the public walk way which is far from ideal. There are no wardrobes and so hanging clothes in the bathroom is problematic . There is a shortage of electric sockets hence trying to fit the ironing board into the bathroom. Don’t expect a lie in after 7.30 am due to noise of local people.

Everything was amazing!!! We were there on our honeymoon and have All good things to say about our stay... Highly recommend!

I chose Kirikayan based on feedback on booking.com. It really is hard to fault this place. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive to our needs. The whole place is in great condition and clean. We spent most of the time at the pool making use of the happy hour bar (2 for 1 drinks between 12:00 - 2:00 and 4:00 - 6:00pm.) the bar staff were also incredibly friendly and respectful. Kirikayan is the prefect "couple" getaway however, I travelled with friends and the experience was totally relaxing. If you're looking for a hotel that has loud music with a party type vibe this place is not for you. A tip: hire scooters from the hotel not from the streets, the hire places on the streets, they either want your passport or drivers licence.

Perhaps they could have varied the breakfast but still nice all the same.
