Score from 70 reviews Good
Waterlinking inside bungalow, Flysand in the bed, cold water for shower, dirty bungalow, reception and restaurant in bad maintenance. We skip tt he second night
Private nice beach with a beautiful pier Breakfast like all you can eat ( you can chose what ever you want as much as you want) God banana shakes Value of money was really god
Dinner not at the same time Very small portion The english of the stuff was very bad except of 2 They never really understand what you order In the toilet they where mosquitos and lizards.
Relaxed atmosphere with the crew of mainly cambodian guest-workers. The room was very clean and beautiful flower decorations awaited us after each passage of the cleaning staff. Good snorkeling and swimming in the bay. Great to have kayaks free of charge!
The garden could be kept more with care. We didn't expect this resort to be that big. After cruising around on the island we understood that most places are this size or even bigger.
I really liked nature, beach. Very near was very nice resort Koh kud nature baech resort. In a few days we removed there from koh kud resort.
Staff is not good, maybe 2 boys in restaurant were ok, but others ...... Administrator on reception was woman with long hair was so so awful. She never helped to anybody, everything did bad. Breakfast bad, bungalow bad, staff .... I never seen before more awful hotel and staff
Staff were amazing and were always willing to help. Food was Soo good especially the BBQ. Location in the bay was incredible and excellent for sunsets. Bungalows were great.
Nothing bad to say, I really enjoyed everyday spent here And I wish I could spend more. A little slice of paradise.
Helpful staff will answer all your questions, give recommendations etc, two more hotels nearby make it possible to get some variation when it comes to dining. Comfy sunbeds, many of them also, there was no need to put your towels on them 6am to get them. Ko Kood is a great island with the best beaches I've ever seen, but I would not stay at Ko Kood resort again.
Impossible to take a shower: water was either very cold or very hot. Bungalos are very basic and "close to nature". If you are afraid of lizzards and other things in your room - don't go. Cleaning staff was otfen "hanging around" instead of doing something whole it was obvious that the hotel could need some fixing and cleaning. Looked like there was no head manager in charge and everyone was doing what they wanted.
food was great and cheap (90-150 baht for a good meal). big lizzards were fun! the bay itself is beatuful and calm. great snorkeling place, free kayaks.
we had flying ants attack in our room, but they died after few hours.
Great food, superb beach. Also the staff was very helpful though not always understanding all English. Loved the massage.
We couldn't pay with credit card though we tried on 2 separate days. The air-con was switched out from 7am, which wasn't mentioned anywhere before.
The staff were lovely and my bungalow was clean and very spacious and flowers each day on t bed. Good snorkeling and clean beach. Lovely food.
Lovely atmosphere with helpfull friendly staff. Reaæly emjued staying here! not much to do but thats the point. No need for alternatives with the wonderfull beach right there and Great snorkling right off the Beach. Nice clean huts. And ok food with a choice to walk to a few other resorts for variety.
We stayed only 3 days.
Good staaf helping us with much as fixing tickets to speedferry, taxi to Suhanoukville i Cambodja. Good service. Good snorkling at beach
Nice location close to the beach. Possible to enjoy lunch and dinner at two other resort located at the same beach. Possible to use kayaks for free. Possible to rent motorbikes.
Not satisfied with the staff. They were very friendly, but did not seem to understand how to behave around the guests and how to do wait the tables. You often get something else than what you originally ordered. There were a LOT of people working there, but not much got done. Example: litter around the bungalows and resort. The food was OK, but not as good as compared to other places. Free snorkeling gear was of poor quality.
There was one waiter, who made a good job. Thank you Piseth (Seth).
The service in the restaurant was had a quote: " Not interested Farang!" Sorry guys, no performance and bad mood.
The pool, the cabin and "overall" ambiance
The beaches were a little to be desired. The difficulty to get to and from the hotel (no one meets you at the beach) after the ferry to arrange, what I would consider, one of the most difficult transfers to a hotel. Water taxi costs etc...
Great friendly staff, awesome snorkelling (they have their own small coral reef in the bay). Nice and calm area with only 3 resorts sharing a long beach. Free kayak rent. The bungalows are really big and have beautiful anti-mosquito nets around the beds
Hot water was working weird (either steam-hot or barely warm), wi-fi is available only near the reception and was sometimes malfunctioning. The resort is a bit isolated so you need to rent a scooter if you want to go somewhere outside to buy something like fruits
Very unpleasant and unhelpfull owner..... They do not derserve to run such a nice place...... The rest the staff are in panic to please to keep their job.. Poor fellows.....left a lot of tip........ Food not worth eating......and expencive on top.....
We stayed here for 3 nights and everything about it was lush....it was absolute paradise!!!
Good Beach, nice pier...
Condition of the resort and the house. Attitude of the staff.
Nice location and friendly staff. Breakfast good.
Resort in bad condition. Could need a serious upgrade. Toilet leaking. Garden not maintained. Lots of garbage that should have been thrown out.
Fantastic mid range hotel. stunning setting with good restaurant.Make sure you make use of the massage
The staff were veul, but there are too many hanging around the hotel. At one point there was more staff than guests
Forget that "Resort"(?)! It's a shame for the Island and a shame for your company
- Nothing really
- Very very basic bungalows which I would honestly pay only 10- 15usd per night - overpriced - crap mattress - food very basic, forget the BBQ - not nice - no nice garden, design or anything lovely except the cryst clear water - a lot of construction going on - why call it resort!?
The location and our bungalow with sea view was beautiful and very spacious. The staff cleaned it everyday and towels were changed daily. Free wifi, kayaks and snorkel.
The staff did not speak English, only two people. And the "owner" was a bit suspicious with the money... Anyway, we were treated very well. We did not like at all the restaurant: expensive and very bad food. There were also many abandoned dogs running around and molesting the clients and staff did not mind, however we never found any dog poop. Not a luxury resort, and the massages service did not look very professional.
