Big room Ok hotel but since roomrate was quite high, set my standard high

View from mainhotel not as nice as expected Near hotel aircon so quite some noise Booked appartment with 2 bedrooms but one bedroom was seperate, although next door, not appartment - feel Pictures on site show everything of the villa's, which is great but our appartment was in mainhotel and not that nice as the pictures Quite far from everything but moterbikes for rent nearby. Elevator broken our total stay (3 days), quite unhandy when you stay on the topfloor

The villa we stayed was amazing!!! Modern, beautiful design e fully functional. Nice place to relax amongst friends!

The location is very far from the center (renting a car is cheaper than a taxi!). Hotel beach is nice to go for a walk, but the sea looks "dirty". Food at the restaurant takes forever!

We booked two bedroom apartment during Songkarn (Thai New Year) holiday. The room is luxurious by design, all equipments are of high quality. The pool and beach are beautiful. The staffs are friendly and try to accommodate our needs as much as they can. We order room-service dinner, the Italian dishes was very nice.

The hotel seems to be understaffed. Although, it is understandable during Songkarn holiday. The room was not well maintained. The beautiful private Jacuzzi is full with water stains. Although the beach is beautiful, it is not good for swimming since it is rather muddy. Also, there are not enough parking spaces.

Everything was great. It was a little distance from the 'action' in Samui but this is what we wanted. It was quiet but the hotel provided us with transportation however most days were spent walking on the beach and dining in the restaurants on the beach.. the villa was directly on the beachfront. Superb holiday!

The staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful. The rooms & facilities are excellent. The location is a bit secluded but they have a free shuttle into Chaweng twice a day & the taxis aren't expensive.

Not too many dining options in the immediate area but the afternoon shuttle to Chaweng & Fishermans Village fixed that.

My husband and me booked the Beautiful Ocean View one bedroom suite on the 3rd floor, which was also equipped with a kitchenette and our own private Jacuzzi. The room was very spacious. The staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful. The hotel also had an amazing spa. I think a full body massage cost me 1400 baht, that would be steep for Bangkok prices , But I enjoyed every bit of the experience. Prices for the car service to the other parts of the island were expensive around 1500 baht pp. so you might want to rent a bike and go around the island . The Food at the hotel was expensive but was good money's worth I would say , there are a couple of restaurants at the beach that you try and would be cheaper too. As for breakfast in the morning I would rate it a 3 out of a 5 its not that bad they serve fresh fruits and juices, muffins, fried rice, sausages, potatoes, bread ( jam and butter). I would suggest carrying a mosquito repellent as I did get a few bites. You could check out my page on YouTube where I have done a room tour as well as a hotel

We stayed in a spacious two bedroom suite with wonderful view, nice and cousy balcony facing the ocean for all of us 4 to lounge. Calm and quite hotel with a nice pool right in front of the beautiful mae nam beach. The staff are friendly and quite helpful although communication can be a bit of a problem because in average their english level is quite low - only less welcoming experience was at the check-in, where the lady that received us was snobbish to the point of starting to be a bit rude, but she warmed up along the days we stayed there and at the check-out was very friendly (my guess is that the moment she saw our group of young travellers, thought we would be disturbing the hotel's peace...)

The water temperature control at the showers could be improved, as it was hard to control it to reach a warm temperature and then maintain it without going hot and cold all the time. The hotel shuttle/car price is expensive and since the hotel is so far away from everything, they could have better price and different rates (instead of one rate for any destination in the island) - 750 THB to the other end of the island can be a good deal, but the same rate to Chaweng is not at all.

The seaview villa is absolutely gorgeous. Fantastic 180 degree view of the sea. Enjoy the sea breeze early in the morning. Great night bbq party while enjoying with your private pool... It gives a perfect holiday.

Taxi is expensive relative to the Thai living standard. Renting a bike or a car is the best option. If you are truly a party person, then this hotel area may not sound right. Each ride to Chaweng costs baht 750. Round trip will cost baht 1,500.

Quite close to the beach, quiet and relaxed.

Rooms where very old. Need some urgent renovation. TV didn't work so good, Bath tub looked bad, and the toilet was smelly. Staff wanted to help, but really couldn't. Breakfast wasn't all that good too. Hope they make it better, the place has great potential.

peace and quite, no hawkers on the beach, villa had plenty of space for 6, staff were lovely very friendly and super helpful, any problems and they were on to it straight away could not fault them, relaxing time in beautiful location, private pool lovely, Happy hour on drinks excellant but would not buy drinks outside HHour too pricey. we all liked the hotel very much. With everything on the didn't like, we still had a great holiday at The Sea, Khun Karn at the villa looked after us, the bar staff at the pool and cafe looked after us with a big smile and happy wishes. All the best to the hotel as they make improvements which they are. Its a lovely quite and peaceful place to stay.

flooring in bedroom needs replacing villa 1001, rustic yes, but too damaged now. Decking outside by pool needs replacing, getting tired and too damaged now. Prices for spa treatments too high, reduce to 50% above street rate and more people will use the spa. Foot massage street 200-350 baht/hr charge 520 baht for example not 800+. Prices for food and drink a bit high too, Cafe Labey take prices down 30% and more people will use it, we had a great meal in there, just a bit pricey. Cafe was being renovated as we left, it was looking a bit tired hope that goes really well but review pricing. See drinks comment just bring them down a bit and people will buy more. example:Icecream shop price 119, hotel 189 makes one think no i can do without ice cream. make it 149 and you will sell more. Internet keeps asking for login, i know it was being re installed and connection was great but login all the time tedious. Bale was very slippy in the wet, my wife fell twice very badly needs slip strips on steps at least. We had a car so no worries, hotel is a bit away from things and you need transport. i could see the hotel would provide which is great, but just keep in mind, if you are out and about types like us.

We have stayed for 8 days in ocean facing pool villa (children 14 and 4 years old). The view was great. Very nice and quite place for families with children. We once had visited the Chaweng beach and quickly came back from the noise, crowd to rest in The Sea Hotel. I do not recommend this hotel to young people who would like to enjoy the nightlife of Koh Samui.

The food prices are very high. There is a nice restaurant next door. The kitchen and bathrooms were not very clean.
