We spent four pleasant nights in Le Canal and the staffs are so very helpful and friendly. They took the effort to buy us a basket of beautiful roses as a surprise birthday gift. The room is clean and comfortable for 2 adults.
Staff were very friendly, but English was a big second language for all. Room was cleaned well. Very nice family ran and owned the buisness- cared about their guests.
Loud venue- Way too much traffic on a busy main street. Did not think the area was a very good location. Room was too small, no area for clothes for one person, let alone 2 people. No bedside table/light on one side of bed. Not enough counter space anywhere for stuff. No good place to relax or hang out on premises- the coffee shop AC was freezing, and the patio was too loud due to constant traffic. I spent one full week here (I had to pre-pay for all nights for one month in advance) and was thoroughly underwhelmed by the whole experience. Ok for 1-2 nights but I would look elsewhere for longer stays that are more comfortable.
Reached the hotel to an amazing reception. I think she's the owner or something. She was very efficient, friendly and helpful. Told me where to go and how to get there. The room I got was on the 3rd floor so the noise level from the road was very little. The bed was so comfortable i wished I had it at home. Will definitely recommend this hotel to all who want to stay in chiang mai.
Nothing. Everything was above expectations
Room was nice and new with comfy bed. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Rooms only have small windows in bathrooms, light filtering through into bedroom woke me up early. Quite noisy on road outside. Didn't inhibit sleep though.
Everything! Location was great, staff helpful!
Staff were amazing - very helpful and accommodating, getting cheaper taxis, advising about places to go, warning of dangerous areas. The room was great too - clean, spacious, lots of tv channels (even some in English).
+ good location in the city + friendly and helpful staff + good in house coffee shop + good internet
- pretty loud street noise, close to a major road I recommend that some rubber-joint between door leaf and door case should be added. Just a few cents per door. Or even better: good isolating doors...
-Really friendly staff. When we checked in we were provided with a Chiang Mai map and recommendations. -Comfortable bed! -Location. It is close to many of the temples and Sunday Walking Street.
-It can be noisy depending on the room location (we stayed in 2 rooms and there was a difference).
