The location was not at all like in pictures. We took family bungalow witch was on backyard off one restaurant. If you decide to stay here, make sure that you stay in the guesthouse.
If not in one if the rooms over the bar, the other rooms are clean but otherwise very disappointing location down a little side alley.
The only thing that i loved is was the beach next to that room.amazing!
The walls of the room was dirty with blood of mosquitos, the village was very expensive, more that a double prices in everything!even the boat taxi to that village coast from 800b to 1000baht one way!
The hotel is located on a back side of the island, away from the busy crowd in a lovely small village. The beaches are quiet, clean and well maintained. I stayed in one of the standard rooms. The rooms are basic but good. Room was equipped with AC, wifi and a fridge.
There's a mosque next door, which wakes you up at 5 in the morning. Since Phi Phi is a popular holiday destination prices are quite high too compared to other parts of Thailand.
Enjoyed being located within the village with access to local restaurants and bars. Helpful staff at Le Rendezvous for tours and local sites.
We are a couple on a budget... We came to Phi Phi for new year however didn't want to stay in the main town... The location is fab, alittle isolated but you can grab a long boat taxi very easily (best to ask Bruno to arrange for best price) or you can take the long walk (45min) across the jungle to the main town if you are feeling enthusiastic... We did this once there and back and it saved us abit of money but was also a good challenge... Would definitely recommend... The room was ideal had air con, clean towels, good shower and was cleaned daily.... Thank you x
Mosquitos are plenty of an eve
Very quiet secluded area if you want to do nothing, lady who managed the B and B was lovely hospitable person.
It cost us 800 thb to get a 45 min boat ride and trek to this b&b, from tonsair pier, there is no other way of getting there other than a 2 hr hike through a mountain forest. Also another 800 thb to get back to tonsair pier. The water in the bathroom smelt of rotting eggs, no TV in the room, the bed sheets were clean but full of stains.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
The online representation of the hotel is fairly misleading. From what I can tell they have two tiers of rooms - one in the main building which I am guessing where nicer and another about a 5min walk away in the village. The second ones is where we stayed and were just a dark room with very little amenities. It was ok for a 2 day stay but if I had expected what they advertise both on their website and here, I would have been disappointed
By far the most lousy room I ever stayed in during 5 months in Thailand. And by fast the most expensive. Be aware that creditcards aren't accepted.
Nothing!!The only good thing about the place was Peth, who was very friendly and approachable, unlike Bruno who was the exact opposite. The pictures shown are of the deluxe rooms, not the standard rooms which were awful. We stayed for 1 night and checked out as we did not want to stay there any longer! All the bad reviews on trip advisor are true so consider this before staying here
Everything!! The room was unclean, dark and expensive. We have stayed in cheaper more luxurious places on our stay in Thailand and would never recommend staying here.
Peth & Bruno are the best! They're friendly & helpful. Don't forget to go to Phad Thai restaurant. So far it's the best sea food restaurant we go in Thailand. Beware of long queue!
Ants & mosquitoes! May be because of the location near beach
not a single thing. Rien de rien.
Location The feeling of kidnapped customer. The fake previous reviews TheroomthebathroomthecleanlinessthepricestheBeachA- ndeventheindicationsgivenbyBruno. There was no tv and no internet. There were ants and flies all over. The first good reviews are either fake or victim of some sort of collective psychiatric disorder. I.e. The rates offered for snorkelling are 6 times more expensive than the pier... But you can't go to the pier (or anywhere) without an expensive boat transport. ( yes , I mean 6 times more) No way to go parting or do anything else than eating after sunset. The bathroom gets flooded after every shower (cold, by the way) There is no safe and the closet locks ... Just don't lock. Simply don't go here, not recommendable
Peth was always smiling and helpful and Joy? was wonderful. The scrambled eggs are excellent. Bruno was OK if you used his quite expensive dive trips. Cheaper in main PHI Phi resort.
We stayed in one of the 'posh' two rooms above the bar which was OK but expensive for what it was. The only view is of a tidal back water. Long walk to the beach but at least the call to prayers from the Mosque gave an early morning wake up call. Cocktails expensive but OK. The tap water smelt and look unpleasant. We were fortunate not to book the cheaper rooms which fellow guests described as terrible.
The room was comfortable, in a great location.
The beach on bakao bay was so beautiful and also the little street for the restaurant
It was hard to find the place. No sign, no pannel to show where is the hotel
Photos doesn't macht the reality. Bad room, smelly bathroom. Inflationated prices.
The staff at Koh Phi Phi was amazing. They were very helpful and interesting to talk to. The scuba tour was one of my favorite things I did in Thailand.
It is a hostel advertised more for French travelers it was hard to communicate with many of the guests because of language barriers. The staff was fluent in English.
Beautiful location if you're looking for a secluded area with a nice beach (we were there at the end of the low season - might be different in high season). There're are no backpackers around, only families and young couples. friendly staff.
we were placed in some spare room away from the main building that didn't look anything like on the pictures. everything, including diving trips were more expensive than on the Tonsai beach.
