Absolutely fantastic hotel! The best service we have experienced in Thailand. Booked a river view suite for 3 nights and got free upgrade to the 52nd floor. There, we enjoyed a breathtaking view of Bangkok and the Chao Praya river, both at day and at night. The Suite was huge with a very comfortable feeling all around it. The balcony was also great. Even though it is located in a busy part of Bangkok it was very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was the best we had at any hotel with a vast verity of… well.. Everything you can imagine at breakfast, even sushi! Amazing! Everything is very expensive. They wanted more than 120 Baht to print one colored page! 90 Baht for a soft drink?! But that's ok as there is a 7/11 just outside the hotel for that. The 5 restaurants at the hotel are also ridiculously overpriced. But that's understandable as it's like that at any 5 star hotels. The location is good but a bit far from the center. The hotel provides free hourly shuttle to the closest bts and River Taxi main stations (until 17:00) which proved to be very handy for us.

Everything from our suite on the 51 floor to the breakfast room. Staff is absolutely fantastic. Suites are spotless. Internet connection free of charge, hotel shuttle to Skytrain and Port. The long wait at the elevators around 5.30 p.m. as everyone seems to want to go to the Skybar to see the sunset. There are people coming from the outside as well so you can imagine. Dinner at the Scirocco was expensive for what you get, especially the wine. Don't take a smoking table, if you do prepare yourself on people coming and going to the Skybar, so if you are planning a romantic dinner for 2 then take a non smokers table, you'll be far away from the hustle and bustle.

Lebua at state tower is a must for anyone who Wants comfort and luxury and 110% excellent service. Very impressed. The buffet breakfast is a must. Make sure book early to dine at sirocco restaurant, then go for drinks at sky bar. The views are amazing. The service is perfect. Every staff is experienced and ready to help anytime. We ordered room service one night when we were hungry, and it was well set up in the living area.. I felt I was dining in a restaurant. This hotel service and quality is so excellent that it makes me feel that other luxury hotels I stayed in the past will never be as good. Not convenient to take trains, but I guess if you can afford to stay here, taking a taxi is pretty cheap. Even though trains were not convenient, the hotel has half hour shuttle to go to the nearest bts station. So that is really helpful too. But with the views you get (try to get the suite facing river view.. It's more pretty), I just feel like staying and relaxing in the hotel for the whole day.

The staff were very welcoming, the rooftop bar was beautiful, the breakfast buffet was amazing. Our room was very large, with a great view. It was a little far out of the way from places to dine and shop. Beware of the tuk tuk drivers from outside, they scammed us and said they worked at the hotel and then refused to take us where we wanted to go and instead took us to their shop

Its a fantastic hotel!!!! The service is extremely high. Nothing is to much! The breakfast is great, the suite is great, the bed is suburb, we loved the Nespresso machine in our room. We loved the towerclub suite at the 57th floor. We also loved the soaps and items from bvlgari. The evening preparing your room to sleep was over the top fantastic. Its really great saying in this hotel for a couple of days The gym and pool or really nice and the Skybar has a fantastic view. The ridiculous high prices at the Skybar (we paid almost 20 euro's for a drink that's really too much) we think general food and drinks or overpriced. We stayed almost a week in the hotel and the first days the waiting for the elevator is long but not annoying, after few days it also became really long and sometimes a bit annoying (sometimes almost 10 minutes)

Suites are comfortable, spa/gym/pool very good, so is the breakfast. The restaurant/bars facilities are over the top expensive (cup of coffee in the lounge USD 14,00...). The suites have a large fridge but no alcoholic drinks in it. Tip: next to the hotel is a 7/11. Next time I'll stay again in The Shangri-La

We wanted to end our trip in Thailand with luxury, and as we found an 50 % offer of this hotel, we booked it. It was very good, nothing to complain about. A bit pricey if you have to pay full price, but the service is top class. The location is great and the view is great. Since our plane left at 1 am, we were glad to get the free late checkout - as a thank you for beeing a FaceBook-fan.

Good location as in Bangkok, near to International airport and to Major shopping mall like Siam Paragon, Central World plaza and MBK. Also near to China town and major Night attraction place. The Sky Bar was so impressive and breakfast serve and Mezu was awesome. Will introduce to friends and come back again.

We stayed at Lebua at State Tower for anniversary for 3 nights. Actually we visited Bangkok at least once each year for holiday. It was our 1st stay, we found great fantastic view on Bangkok from balcony in our room. Moreover, delicious breakfast buffet, good location (very close to the skytrain and Robinson and main pier). Spacious room and nice, feel very comfortable. 1) Really disappointed during checked in, we gave the hardcopy of hotel confirmation to the staff (Tang Kwan!). But the staff said we should pay for total BahtXXXX for room charge. So I showed this statement to her "The total price of the reservation will be charged on the day of booking!! She still told us to sign the 'wrong (charged) invoice" first????? What service of a 5-star brand hotel?? We made reservation in advance !! 2) Too crowded in the Skybar...most of the guests are standing closely ...very disturb if we had dinner there! 3) very disappointed that the swimming pool is closed for maintenance; 4) the receptionist (front desk ext 19 ~ Buddy who answered the enquiry without any hospitality and made mess to our enquiry. We had to change room to room ..... wasting our precious moment ....and made us very angry!! Above all, we are disappointed with the staff service !

Breakfast was excellent. The pool was out of order when we arrived and we were refered to use the pool at Holiday in. Their poolarea looked like something from east Berlin 40 years ago, not quite the standard when you book a 5 star hotel. I talked to the hotel 5 days prior to our arrival and they didn´t say a word about the pool dispite it was already out of order. And they knew that we were coming with two children (5 and 9). Not very funny to be in Bangkok with children and no pool. The hotel doesn´t live up to be a 5 star hotel. The lobby is very small and quit ordinary. The rooms are spacious but very boring, the interior are only middleclass (looks like Scandic hotels in Sweden). We were quite disapointed and I am very suprised that the hotel is so highly appraised by other travelers.

Very nice hotel. I was upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite during my stay and the room was superb. Very nice staff. Thought the American Breakfast room serive was expensive until it turned up and the staff layed the table out and could hardly fit everything on! Would stay there again (and plan to!) Pool wasn’t available as it was being repaired. Quite annoyed as they didn’t state this on their website. The hotel is between two BTS stations. Make sure you walk to Saphan Taksin and not Surasak. The tuk tuk service only runs every 30 minutes until 5:00pm.

After working within the Hospitality Industry for over 15 years, I was expecting the hotel in its entirity to be excellent. What we recieved was nothing short of the most incredible hotel experience we have ever had. Everything from arrival to departure was simply perfect and effortless. My partner and I stayed in the Tower Club at Lebua, the suite was impeccable and the views of the river and city were amazing. The food and service offerings were fantastic, and are certainly a level above what the British hotels consider a 5 star experience to be. The way the hotel takes care of the finer details were exemplary, a true ambassador of Thailand's Tourism Authority. We are travelling to Thailand next year and will not hesitate at staying at Lebua for a couple of days on the way home. A truly amazing experience.

Lebua is an exclusive hotel, high standard services, we really enjoy our time there, buffet breakfast is really nice with many different types of food, especially the bar and restaurant at the top level of building, the room is big, clean and very comfortable. The city view from balcony at night is absolutely awesome. It is an amazing experience for us. We definitely want to recommend it to everyone and we will visit Lebua in the near future. We felt bit upset about the dress code restriction to sky bar because we didn't carry any formal dress and shoes. If you want to experience the view from the top of building you should prepare some formal dress and shoes.

Hotelservice was great, very helpful. Free upgrade was most welcome, the suite itself was fantastic, with a great view over the city. A skytrain-station is just a short walk away, and breakfast was amazing. It was a shame that the swimming pool was closed, and it seems though the staff were constantly invading. Piece of advise: flip-flops won't suffice in the bars and restaurants, so pack a pair of shoes.

Fantastic Hotel. They are not rooms, they are suites!! Good location, fairly central. Helpful and polite staff. As we were on honeymoon, they had a little cake in the room fridge waiting for us which said Happy Honeymoon on it! Nice touch.Fantastic buffet breakfast The food in the restaurants is soooo expensive! Totally overpriced! We paid about 3000THB for an evening meal, which was not even that good! There is a great italian restaurant 200 yards away around the corner that is 1/5th the price! Go there instead-better food!

The rooms are huge, and the view is fantastic. Great value for money. Only how long it takes to get a lift. Hard to change I expect. I was on the 55th floor, and there was always a wait.
