It's very difficult to find this hotel because in Google GPS the hotel does not have a English name only in Thai. But if you search for Route 21 restaurant it's the same place.
The location is fantastic. Come up to see the mountains it's right there and your room has a direct view. Air is fresh and cool. I had dinner at the hotel restaurant. The sweet and sour pork was delicious. Fresh ingredients from the local mountain area.
It's a older hotel but the rate is very good and a bargain for the mountain location.
The hotel staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I think it's a family business.
Plenty of parking for your car. It's right of route 21 so call the restaurant Route 21.

We stayed one night as a quick launching point to Phukidung National Park. The surrounding areas are rural, lush and green. The two night stay up on the National Park plato was brilliant. We hired bikes and explored the beautiful view points from the top of the cliffs. You will need to be reasonably fit to challenge the hike up to the plato. The tent and associated bedding is new and clean. There's plenty on food choices from the stalls at the top.
I would say the stuff works here did a wonderful job. I have stayed so many different hotel in Thailand in past two years, from five star resort to the exectuive suites in five star hotel, but this resort mades me feel touched.
The stuff said my room is a 4people room so she would give me free dinner when I stay since I came here alone and she encouraged me to bring my friends to enjoy breakfast together without any charge.
When I left the resort, the stuff even sent Line messages to me to have a nice trip.
We received a friendly welcome with a welcome drink served in the attractive lounge area. Staff answered all of our questions, were very helpful, and very attentive. Our room was very clean with nice bed linens. The breakfast was varied and generous, served in an attractive space. It was nice to have bedside tables with lamps. Staff arranged transportation to the Thai Loei Ban Kang Pla Weaving Group which we found interesting. We enjoyed the 8km walk back through the countryside.
This is by no means a luxury hotel. Rooms are very small and kind of old.
On the other hand all the most important equipment is there, like aircon, hot-water shower, TV, Wifi, water boiler, fridge.
When taking into account that the property is right by the river, and that there is an only 1 km walk to the walking street, it does end up being real good value for the money, if compromising on the room itself is acceptable.
Very good price for a room. Only they told us suddenly in the morning breakfast was not included, even though with check-in they said it was.
Beds are hard and building could use some extra maintenance. Price-wise nothing to be bothered about though.
Some annoying dogs around the corner tried to attack me. Not the hotel's fault, but still not ideal location wise.
the hotel is centrally located for loei's little nightlife. despite the dilapidated facade, the rooms are clean and decorated in a modern and imaginative way. they are equipped with kettle, minibar, aircon, TV and balcony. there is a 7/11 practically inside the hotel. friendly but non english speaking staff. honest price.
The rooms are really tasteful, 5 star in comfort, beautiful surroundings, easy to get to on the main highway. It’s a small, boutique hotel, so if you’re looking for lots of facilities this might not be the best choice. If relaxing in a quiet, peaceful environment is what you’re after, this is a great option. Good hotel and central enough. The rooms are stated as having a river view but that is only if you go outside your room door, the balcony has a view of rubbish bins. The rooms a clean and staff are good. The breakfast is not to my or my Thai wife's tastes.
Close to the only bars in Loei. It's a very private hotel and it's very affordable.
Loei is close to the border with Laos. A great border town is Chiang Kang and travellers should take the trouble to visit.
The hotel is well decorated but if there’s elevator it’ll much conveniently and the parking is a bit short compared to room’s number! But overall I like the hotel, thanks
