On our arrival at the hotel the lady at reception was so helpful. Location and price of the room were also great. Everything during our stay was perfect.
The rooms can be a little noisy, i.e hearing the neighbours.
We extended our stay for one night because we liked it so much. The staff were really helpful, Breakfast was good, the Bungalow we had was right by the small pool. A great gem in Chiang mai for those who want a Bungalow Stay in a City.
I stayed two nights in Log Home, I experienced the personal to be extremely friendly and welwilling to help (they drove me to a shopping center where I could buy something for my phone I needed). Further the houses are nice and cosy and the swimming pool is awesome. There is strong WiFi everywhere and also the food they serve all day long is good. Last bonus point is for the pool table. I would recommend anybody to stay at the Loghome!
The location is very good, close to the Sunday night market. The entrance is not very big, but it's very surprising after walkin in. The room is tiny but comfortable. I love this kind of wood house very much.
A little bit noicy, you can hear your neighbours if they're speaking in a little bit loudly voice.
Nice huts in lovely garden.
Overpriced for Thailand. Rooms tiny
Great location, beautiful surroundings in garden area and poolside. Lovely bar with food table and reasonably priced food and drinks. Located in the old city so easy to get around.
The log walls are not sound proof whatsoever! You could here next door sneeze and it sounded like you were practically in the same room! Don't stay here if you want a good nights sleep!
A small nice looking clean room in a very quiet area.. Good location also
- staff was very kind. Especially miss Aor who made us feel at home and took really good care of us in every matter. - rooms are nice and neat - wifi is more than ok in comparison to other places - clean bathroom - possible to rent a scooter at the hotel - laundry for 50b - good restaurant - nice breakfast eventhough not included - activities proposed are very good and miss aor helped us pick the right ones and good deals. It staus quite expensive but if you go anywhere else prices will be the same, if not more expensive.
- do not book a trip to laos if you have to stay in chiang tong. Or ask where you will stay because in the trip we booked with log home, the accomodation in chiang tong was not what we expected at all. - paper thin isolation in between rooms. - dont forget to put the " clean the room" sign on the door or your room wont be cleaned.
the wooden walls ,you hear EVERYTHING!and you hear the noisy street.
The Wooden cottage look. Lovely staff
For the cost of the room, the standard of facilities were way over priced compared to our last accommodation around the corner. Squeaky bed with every move, you could hear every thing next door. Pressure less shower to get any heat.a tiny room. The pool got no sun. Tiny shelves to sit anything on. Per night it should be half the price.
Good location, nice staff.
The walls are so thin you can hear everything from next door. Talking, snoring, tv,everything. The pool is so cold it's more like ice bucket challenge than a swimming pool. 2 mins max and you have to get out its that cold. No fridge in the room.
The hotels proximity to excellent restaurants. Bang
Bang for bucks......many hotel...guest houses etc half the prices and far superior.
Nice, small and cozy.... lots of greenery around in the middle of old town.
The wifi had issues, no sound insulation between rooms so hearing people next door to you were like they were in the same room as you. No breakfast included
Feeks like staking at home! The hostess did everything to make us feel comfortable, she arranged scooter rental, excursions. Rooms are Nice, good beds, but a bit noisy. The pool is a Nice extra. I would recommand this hotel to everyone!
Rooms are very small, no place to hang clothes, not even enough space to open a suitcase. No insulation we can hear neighbors talking even when they don't talk loud. Swimming pool is very cold.
The romantic and cozy atmosphere
Friendly stuff helpd us with all arrangements. Great location close by the night bazaar.
A lot of noise from the occupants of the adjacent rooms.
The staff, pool and breakfast.
noice.... room too small
Swimming was lovely in the hot weather and was kept very clean. Staff very friendly and recommended day trips for us and booked them all, made very easy. 10 mins walk from the night market. Huge bed which was nice. Very clean rooms and cleaned every day. Nice bar and food served and can take to your room. Lovely little cabins. Had a safe in the room Good location in the old city
No fridge in room I got bitten a few times but mozzies love me so may not apply to everyone
staff pool location
noise, soundproof is almost zero..
Located near sunday market, restaurants, walls, temples... Clean room, air com, friendly staff.
Walls are incredible thin (it is possible to hear your neighboors tv). So you have to be lucky (our neighboors were a couple with a small baby). Reception in inside the restaurant, so i didnt feel confortable to ask for tips of other restaurants.
Pleasant neighborhood. Pleasant, small but charming resort close to everything. Helpfull nice people.
That the restaurant closed so early in the evening...
Have a small pool, location is good
It is so hot in the house if you do not turn on the air con, also bad smell in the house
The staff at log home were absolutely amazing. They helped us get around the old city, gave advice, and stored our bags for us when we went on a 3 day trip. The rooms are beautiful, as is the garden and pool areas. I would definitely go back again next time I am in Chaing Mai.
