We upgraded to a bungalow upon arrival at 50% higher room rate. It was worth it! Strongly recommend the bungalow. Nice design in a rain forest type landscape wih a neat bathroom.

It is a little expensive by Thai standards but if you want to be near the market that's the price you have to pay. The eating options outside the resort are limited though there is a seven eleven within walking .distance.
There are various types of room. The chalets and bungalows look wonderful, we stayed in an economy room which was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast, which was included in the price, was good and plentiful. The swimming pool for the economy rooms is not the one in the picture but there is one and it seemed fine.

Staff were very friendly but not one of them were remotely good at English. There were either a lot of staff or none when you needed them.
Location down the road (or canal) from the floating market. Quiet place, nice pools. Arrived by public bus from South bus terminal from Bangkok 78 baht and got a tuk tuk to hotel for 60 baht. Going back the receptionist recommended a minivan which picked us up at the hotel at 1pm with other passengers for 100 baht each to Bangkok victory monument. Beautiful gardens with traditional teak buildings with stilts.

bath tub (not working) A/C not working since there is no insulation (hot air comes in through the slit), smelly bathroom and shower area
location (close to the beach) good weather

Room was strange arranged and the lift was our nearest neigbour making noise which dont let us sleep well. SPA / Massage was closed. Breakfast was very simple. Big problems regarding language.
The location was excellent as we had only one goal: visiting the floating market.

Lots of noise coming from the motorboats that pass by the hotel. The bed was old and squeeky that kept us awake at night. There were lots of mosquitos and a few large cockroaches in the bathroom. Insects are a normal part of life in that area but the hotel should put in more effort to take care of that problem in the rooms.
Friendly staff Close to the two large floating markets

Nice ambience with a balance of Thai-western architecture/services. Serene atmosphere, delicious food and helpful staff.
