It has been opened for a decade, so some of the facilities are out-of-date. It would be better if the hotel could upgrade some, i.e. coffee maker, apple charges, to make the client feel more comfortable, cause their target clients are those who travel with the best hotels in the world.
This huge resort is a must go in Chiang Mai, especially the walking in the past program provided by the hotel, via which you will have an overall picture of the culture and history, as well as the roofs of different kingdoms. The Macaron is the best I have ever tried, better than those famous brands in Paris and Hong Kong, impressive and I packed 20 boxes as gift to my friends in China when I left the hotel. They offered delicious food, the breakfast was perfect and dinner at Thai restaurant is also a good option, price is reasonable, food is delicious and you could enjoy Thai dancing. The Chinese restaurant is so so, but it may be the best in Chiang Mai. I did not have the opportunity to try the French restaurant, which I believe would also be impressive, but my parents are not big fan of westen food. We stayed in the villar for 3 nights, field view, nice sleep and enjoy the peaceful days and nights in the resort.
