Free breakfast buffet

Deceptive room rate. I did not like finding out after charge card was processed that the hotel did not use market exchange rate and created their own exchange rate of 2.5% less than market rate. They could have told me before the processed the card of my options and definitely before booking the room. Because of time I had no choice to sign the charge slip.

Professional thai staff. Good breakfast buffet. Good chinese cuisine and some local food.

The hotel is quite old so the back doors for the terrace became rusty and hard to open. The direction from the reception to rooms were not well indicated so we have to find out the way for the shortcut.

Good pool. Excellent menu and food. .

Swimming pool; gym; free breakfast; free shuttle into town; food and drinks menus; reasonably priced spa treatments; rooms; peace and quiet.

Doors jammed a lot; staff take a long time to respond to food and drink orders and the pool bar is rarely staffed; hotel is fairly isolated out of the main town.

This hotel has a good location. The room was large. There are 2 swimming pools (a large one for swimmers and a small one for non-swimmmers). There is a free breakfast buffet included. The hotel provides a double map with attractions in the town and in the surrounding area.

Some rooms face the main road, and there is some noise from passing traffic. Our room was large, but a bit dark (there was not enough light for reading anywhere in the room). About the bathroom: the hot water is very hot, and the cold water very cold; it is quite difficult to find a fitting temperature when taking a shower. The breakfast buffet was large on the Saturday and Sunday, but on the Monday is was suddenly quite limited.

The staff dont speaks english at all!!! The worsest then that - thay dont know how to read in thai!!! The location of the hotel is no where - very boring for young people - no bar's no pub's no restorant's in the all erea' excapt the hotel's restorant. In the city no tourist agency to buy trips or have any guding about the erea. The spa and the massage is very expencive even for tourist' the "jacuzzi" is cold as ice and this separate for men and women - no fun at all! 'A big waste of time - maybe only for one night to rest on the way,

too big, too impersonal. It's looks like it's just an hotel where poeple who buy precious stone in the market come. Staff doesn't speak english very well.. too expensive for what it is!

Great, nice resort, awesome pool and gym. We actually stayed only one night as this was basically our transit location, but the resort is so good, it wouldn't hurt to stay for a few days more just to relax, do sports etc...

It's on the outskirts of the city, but they have a shuttle to bring you to the city center and back if needed.

The location was perfect for us. We were traveling from Bangkok to Koh Chang and we were looking for a place to stay to break up our drive. The Maneechan Resort was just off the main highway connecting our departure point and our destination. The room was spacious and well-equipped. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of tasty food. The mirror in the bathroom was great for shaving. It was one of the best hotel mirrors that I have ever encountered. We wanted to try a local restaurant, but we didn't want to drive into a town that we weren't familiar with. The hotel's van took us to the restaurant. When we were finished eating we phoned the hotel and the van appeared a few minutes later to take us back to our room.

Checking in was a little confusing. The location of the main desk wasn't readily apparent and we needed to ask directions twice before we found it. The desk is located to the left of the main entrance, up a flight of stairs and through an unmarked doorway. In our room the noise from traffic on the main highway was noticeable. However, the noise level abated after 10 p.m.

Big rooms, clean and well maintained grounds and huge pool. Shuttle to and from the centre of town.

Lack of tea making facilities in the room but there is room service. On their web site they indicated they had a snooker room and table tennis. These facilities have now gone.

Having been shown to my room, and been given two little pods for the coffee machine (what on earth was all that about?) I was then called by reception to say I had been given the wrong room and if I wanted to stay in it it would cost me 2000bht more. I asked to see the room I should have been given and it was awful, so I opted to stay in the allocated room. This was their error, not mine, and I feel very strongly that I should not have been charged this extra amount. I will be writing to the hotel about this. I asked if I could have some breakfast in the dinning room, they were still serving at the time, and I was told that my breakfast, included in the room rate, would only start from the following morning. I said I understood that and was willing to pay for that morning's breakfast - blank looks all round so no breakfast! The staff on reception have very poor English and whilst I agree we English speakers should not automatically expect people of other nations to be absolutely fluent (I could not have learned enough Thai in TWO days!) I do feel that when they are delaing with the general public hotel staff, especially, should not only be able to speak reasonable English but their comprehension should be good too. This hotel must have gem buyers from aall over the world staying here as it is the nearest to the centre of Chanthaburi (BUT far from being 'in the heart of Chanthaburi' as it is decribed it is a good 7-10 minute drive out of the centre) so it is very important that the staff have good comprehension. For instance - I called them, on my UK mobile, to ask for the shuttle bus to pick me up at the post office in Chanthaburi centre - they sent it to the bus station. I waited for more than three quarters of an hour in the blistering heat and only after calling them again did the vehicle finally arrive. Not one word of apology...

街の少し外れにあり静かな場所で良かった。客層も良い。 街まではミニバスで送ってくれるので便利。 スタッフも愛想がよく親切。 ホテル、プールは綺麗。

街から戻るとき少し不便。

Dejlig swimmingpool og et formidabelt fitnessrum. En fantastisk hyggelig restaurant (Beergarten)

Selve byen Chantaburi var lidt kedelig.

Très bel établissement et grande piscine, personnel aimable qui a réglé de façon très commerciale un problème de lits jumeaux d'une personne alors que j'avais demandé un grand lit pour 2; j'ai été surclassé avec 2 grands lits jumeaux juxtaposés. Restaurant de bonne qualité. Très bon rapport qualité prix . Ne pas hésiter à réserver dans cet hôtel.

Ruhige Atmosphäre , sehr schöner Pool , tolle Massage , sehr gutes Essen und ein ausgewogenes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis , Room 101 einfach toll , wird bei unserem nächsten Ost-Thailandaufenthalt unser Zimmer bleiben . Gratulation dem Management.

Straßenlärm , Check in trotz später Anreise erst nach einer Stunde möglich ,und trotz Fehlers des Hotels wurde kein Getränk angeboten .

Shuttledienst nach Chanthaburi war sehr freundlich und sehr zuverlässig. Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig.

Unsere eigene Schuld: Das Zimmer roch müffig, was ich aber wegen unseres kurzem Aufenthaltes erst später reklamierte. Das vom Roomservice benutzte Raumspray half da auch nicht viel mehr... Das Resort scheint auch ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen zu sein
