I really liked the family suite. It was the best deal that I got that provided good accommodation for a family of 4. The space was quite a bit and the layout was very convenient. The only thing I did not like was the bathroom, mainly the shower cabin. The shower did not work well and became too hot or cold. The location of the soap dispenser in the shower stall was odd and should have been on the other side. If one had to bathe a child, then one ended up drenched completely and to reach out to the soap dispenser, one had to wet oneself when putting soap on the child. The door to the shower cabin went and hit the towel racks inside and so did not open properly. This was badly designed as a door shouldn't be hitting the racks. There were also not enough hanging racks for towels and clothes outside the shower stall. |

Allowed early check in and late check out with out any problem. The size of the rooms was impressive and the price through Booking.com was excellent. All of the sights within Chiang Mai are within easy walking distance and the hotels position, half way between the Old City and the Night Bazaar was superb. |

The lobby was nice and up to the standards of a 4 star hotel. Our room was in the other building - budget type - and the room was nothing close to a 4 star- on internet the bed in the room is advertised as king size but it was in fact queen size. The room did not look like the image on the website at all - we trusted the picture we saw when booking: Our room was dark with obscured window leading to the backside, very old and not taken care of - many broken and chipped tiles, dirty bathroom handles, old stained toilet not to mention the bad smell in the room. The toilet had a shower with no curtains - taking a shower would inevitably wet the whole place. Apart from occasional dirty spots in the room we had a colony of ants crawling around. Lastly the bed: it was really uncomfortable and unstable: each time one of us turned, the other person inevitably woke up to the squeaking noise of the bed frame. We had a sleepless night. It is advertised 4 star but is not even close to a 2star |

Excellent hotel for the price. On the east side of Chiang Mai, close to the night bazaar and a stones throw from the centre. I would definitely recommend it for people travelling who want something a little more plush that the usual guest house. Yes the corridors are in need of a new carpet, but the rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. Definite value for money and i recommend it over hotels like Le Meridan. Nothing to complain about, but the carpet in the corridors could do with a change. However the rooms are immaculate. |

In fact there are two completely different hotels. The one in the main building is quite nice 4 star hotel. And the seconde in two building arround the main one- just budget level. Very dirty, old and not comfortable at all. First we book in the surrounding building and were shoked...After first night we upgraded it to main building for only 100 THB more. The rooms in main building are quite nice as well as the bathroom. The breakfast is nothing special and complimentary to your food you get a lot on insects.. This could be cleaner for sure. The rooms in surrounding building are very old, dirty and not comfprtable- budget level but noway a 4 star hotel. Breakfast is not good and breakfast room is not clean. |

We liked the pool and breakfast was better than average in Thailand, although most Western dishes remain an Asian version to Western food. The lobby looks very nice. Our room was OK for the 1,000 Baht we paid for it (rainy season promotion, booking through internet) although I must admit that I agree with one previous comment that the rooms need modernification. I would not have been pleased if we had paid the normal rate of 2,500 Baht per night, that would be a little too much for our room (a so-called Terrace room in a neighbouring building with no elevators outside the main building). Showers were good. The staff was very helpful and friendly and they offered us the buffet breakfast whereas that was actually not included in our room price They could do something about the drinks you can choose for breakfast. What Thai seem to call orange juice has nothing to do with the actual fruit we call orange. Some fresh fruit juice would be nice! |

Good location and the jacuzzi bath was a nice surprise. However I was disappointed that the living area was just a sofa very close to the end of the bed and the terrace... did not have one. Not really sure why this is a 4 star hotel as very similar to many 3 star. the living area and terrace - very misleading in details |

The place was nice, just not overly luxurious. The steps to the Terrace area where our rooms were, were not too bad. No elevator to that area. |

Hotel is walking distance from the night market. The front desk staff are courteous and set up my tours for me. These tours are reasonably priced and well managed. On occasion if you slept in, the maid service would forget to come back to clean your room. In two seperate occasions a call to the front desk had to be made over this issue. I stayed in the seperate annex building and it has low set beams up the stairs as well as in the suite bathroom doorframe. Taller people need to be aware. Exercise room needs upgrading as it is old. Almost no free weights. |

Pleasant rooms, free wireless in lobby, pleasant staff They tried to charge me extra on top of the agreed fee when I was trying to leave. I'd arranged a late departure for 500 Baht, they phoned up saying they wanted 1500 baht. The argument over this spoiled the end of the visit and also disrupted my preparation for my flight. |

The hotel is the worse hotel I had ever stayed in. It was tired and old. There was no hot water for shower and no service space to put anything in the bathroom. The bedroom looks good on the web site but it was cold and there was not any extra blanket to be found anywhere! I have stayed in motel for less money and better standard! I paid US$4 for a 8 min local call! |

For a convenient location when visiting the North, this hotel is just 2 minutes walk from the famous Chiang Mai Night Bazaar, one of Asia’s most fascinating markets. |
