Very nice standard room for reasonable price,the room was well-cleaned by the time I came from the beach or tours in the afternoon.Very tropical to have mango tree just under my balcony.I was given teapot and cup by my request.It was nice of the reception staff to offer one night stay in another new hotel Poolswatt also on Lamai closer to the bay between Lamai and Chaweng.Free transfer there and back was organised. However I had to wait for the transfer for 1 hour 30 min to return Marina beach.I spent the time for very delicious seafood lunch right on the beach.It was great to have wi-fi right on the beach,however it was bad in the room, the connection always disappeared,it was ok on the balcony.The location of the hotel was very good, so many restaurants,tour agencies,massage-salons just as you step out the hotel.25 min walk to Lamai food market, 10 min walk Lamai evening souvenir market. As for the beach, the was no toilet ( said inop), good sunchairs, but the sea was wavy the whole week, that is why all the sea grass were coming out on sand and water wasn't clear, and there were some street dogs entering the sea, it is not pleasant in the same water. I walked up to Laguna resort, the sea was cleaner,waves lower,and sand in the was tender. In general I would like to return Marina beach resort and stay at bungalows next time.

Staff were very rude, miserable and not attentive! would have you standing at counter for ages and just gave you dodgy looks! Beds ruined my back!

the bed was really old with springs being felt. could use a chair in the room also for comfort. They provide sling chairs at the beach, not comfortable like a flat lounger.

Samui island is really a great place for holiday! This resort locates just near the beach. The room has a balcony with a good view.

The bed sheet was not so clean on the first day. But it was okay after changing.

Marina Beach is a very nice little resort directly at the wonderful beach of Lamai. There are many positive points: it's very well situated, directly at the beach, but at the same time pretty much in the center of Lamai with all the nightlife, restaurants etc. going on. But: it's very quiet, you don't hear any noise of the street or the Lamai life. It's absolutely worth to take a bungalow as the hotel rooms are really small and much closer to the main Lamai street than the bungalows. We had the bungalow A05 which was fortunately one of the closest not higher priced bungalows (the ones directly at the beach are a bit more expensive). So frome the nice terace we had a sea view through the trees of a very nice alley. This alley is perfect. It's a pathway which leads from the main entrance building to the beach and the bungalows are all along this pathway, so no motorbikes, no cars no whatever on this way. Bungalows have a big bed in quite a large room, it's not a fivestar room but all you need is there. The matrace is a bit hard sure but totally ok. We had wifi for free all day long, no pay (wrong info on booking.com). So all in all a very good adress in Lamai.

The bathroom is a bit small and one of those without any separation between toilets and shower. But it wasn't a big problem. Breakfast is not included and there is no possibility to take breakfast in Marina (wrong info on booking.com). But: getting to the beach, just 20 meters on the left there are some quite good restaurants, for breakfast as well. Maybe the most negative thing which doesn't really concern the Resort is Lamai itself. We were very surprised about the kind of nightlife we found there. An incredible number of gogo-bars, at least ten just on the main city place, open air, many others around, certainly with more options for all the men from Europe, Australia etc. you can see all around the small city with their thai girls.We expected to find that in Bangkok, not in Lamai. So: Marina Beach is perfect for Lamai and at the beach the ambiance is wonderful, but we would definitely prefer Mae Nam or Bophut on Samui (and don't go to Chaweng, horrible!!).

Good location and easy walk to shops,restaurants and bars. Located on the beach so easy access there and i found the rooms clean & staff pleasant.

отель соответствует своей категории. Главный плюс - близкое расположение к морю и магазинчикам, кафе. Не очень понравилось состояние постельного белья и полотенец (застираны), но для отеля двух звезд, наверно, глупо просить большего. Песок пляжа - крупный, желтый, почти всегда есть волны. Длинная линия пляжа, множество отелей, наверно поэтому пляж и море бывают с мусором. Брали бунгало, в бунгало отличный большой сейф (входит ноутбук и всякая электроника), хорошо ловит интернет. После грозы один раз пропало соединение. обратились к персоналу на ресепшен, они вызвали специалиста, все исправили. Для желающих экономно отдохнуть неплохой отель

мусор на пляже и в воде, но пляж и море - общие для большого количества отелей, так что, видимо, это не зависит от отеля Марина Бич

прекрасное место за свою цену. все что надо в шаговой доступности. выход на пляж с лежаками. бары, рестораны и магазины. хороший персонал. в следущий раз если поеду на ламай то выберу этот отэль.

het is een perfecte kleine oase aan het strand met een prachtige tuin en alles is op loopafstand, het hele dorp met restaurantjes, winkels etc.

de volgende keer boek ik een vrijstaande bungalow want de wanden met de buren zijn erg dun, ik had geluk met m'n buren, maar het kan ook anders zijn...

Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden , nur die Dame am Empfang könnte etwas freundlicher wirken . Sonst empfehlenswert .

είναι στο κέντρο τις λάμαϊ αλλα έχει απίστευτη ησυχία(μονο στα bungalows).είναι πολύ κοντά στην θάλασσα.για φαγητό και πρωινό ακριβώς διπλα στο εστιατόριο will wait.

Eκανα κράτηση μέσο booking.com για ανεξάρτητο bungalows και μου έδωσαν bungalow κολλητά σε άλλο.απατεώνες!!(τα χώριζε ένας ψεύτικος τείχος).δεν μπορούσα να κοιμηθώ γιατί ακουγόταν τα πάντα από το διπλανό δωμάτιο φοβερα ενοχλητικό προσέξτε πολύ καθώς υπάρχουν ανεξάρτητα bungalow και είναι θαυμάσια.επίσης όταν πήγαμε τα σεντόνια ήταν κίτρινα και με λεκέδες τα άλλαξαν καθώς παραπονέθηκα έντονα.στην παραλια δεν είχε αρκετές ξαπλώστρες και αυτές που υπήρχαν ήταν μόνιμα πιασμένες (άφηναν τις πετσέτες επάνω 24 ώρες μια παρέα από ενοχλητικούς γερμανούς που μιλούσαν φώναζαν και γελούσαν σαν ζώα δεν s άφηναν να χαλάρωσης και να ευχαριστηθείς την παραλια.μην χάσετε το χρόνο σας στο koh samui αν θέλετε κάτι το τροπικό να πάτε koh phangan η Koh tao.

Расположение отеля очень удобное, прямой выход к пляжу с одной стороны и выход на оживленную улицу с другой стороны.Отель утопает в зелени, что очень приятно в жаркие дни. в номерах очень тихо. Рядом с отелем хороший ресторан и французская булочная со свежей выпечкой.

Нет русского канала на ТВ.

Неплохое расположение, немного от центра Ламая (потише), хороший пляж. Неплохие номера (делюкс) и бунгало. Много деревьев. Можно оставлять кондиционер включенным, пока вас нет в номере. Отличное кафе(ресторан) около отеля will way.

Шезлонги сидячие, нет бассейна на территории отеля(ходили в соседний марина вилла). Интернет на пляже работает лучше чем в номере. Вода моря в этом месте мутноватая(недалеко наверное река вподает) в 500 метрах чистейшая.

De locatie was uitstekend. Vlak aan het strand en toch geen storend lawaai van de drukte op Lamai beach. Zeer nette kamers, leuk balkon, koelkasten ter beschikking. Zeer goede locatie om te slapen voor deze prijs.

Geen zwembad. Een verfrissende duik is toch leuk. Je hebt wel de zee, maar was zeer woelig en je kon er niet in zwemmen. Het personeel was zeer onvriendelijk. Het land van de glimlach verdwijnt meer en meer in de regio's waar het toerisme zeer populair is.
