Huge lovely pool, peaceful at night. Large pretty grounds to explore. Room and bed was large. The food the at the restaurant was great. Pleasant stay.

The place is starting to get run down. It is also in need of freshening up before it can claim to be the high-end place it thinks it is (and would have been in its heyday). Carpet was clean, but old and stained. About 20-30min walk from town, so you will probably need to pay for transport, and because it is a large established resort, everyone more than triples the prices you should pay (they look you up and down when you say Maritime, then say 200, instead of 20-40 baht you should pay). Despite being less than 10 min from airport, they charge 500 baht for a shuttle, which is A LOT for Thailand. They charge several times the price for spa/massage than would pay anywhere else. I think they rely on travelers who don't leave the resort, and don't know how much things should cost. Also, they know that you're stuck there with less options because of the distance from town (where you would pay 300 baht for a massage, not 1500 to 2000 - more than the cost in Australia).

This is a horrible hotel try and avoid it.

Room stenched of smoke almost impossible to sleep in. Bathroom lacked shower curtain and the plumming so poor the floor was flooded. Really old and in bad condition, probably no renovation for 20 years. Staff speaks no English and the concierge tried to trick us in paying 300 rather than 200 which was the price for shuttle service. This is the worst place I have stayed at in 3 visits to Thailand.

Good sized room with lovely views and reasonably located for transfer to Krabi airport.

The room was badly in need of a refit, carpet was stained and had toe nail cuttings on the floor!

Loved the beautiful tranquil grounds with lots of bird life - and long-tailed monkeys! Excellent swimming pool, good breakfasts and a nice bar and restaurant with terrace.Canoeing on the 'lagoon' was fun too.

Rooms, while very large with balconies, were dated and shabby and badly in need of a makeover. Being quite a distance from the town, you paid over the odds for transport if you couldn't make or get a place on the infrequent free bus.

    Staff very friendly

The internet pictures do not reflect the hotel as it is now. The facilities are extremely run down , closed partially or just broken . I'm sure in its day it was a good hotel but no way 4 star anymore - very run down

we stayed in this hotel just for one night, for its location - close to Krabi airport - to catch an early flight. For one night it is ok.

slow service, poor language skills, smell in the room (ordered a suite), ambiance in general - the hotel feels very dated.

The hotel compound is very nice like in the jungle amidst the view of the lime stone. The hotel decoration is old but nice. The hotel is surrounded by the fabulous plants and trees with a lot of perfumed flowers and birds with colorful colors. If you love nature, this hotel is recommended to explor the plants and to kayak in the small lake in the middle of the hotel.

As the hotel is very green with plantation, a lot of aggressive ants can be found on the pathway. The staff at the reception and the restaurant neglects the clients and concentrate on the tourist in big groups. The hotel rooms are quite dirty on the floor.
