Mercure Patong Phuket  

It is no sense to have a WiFi in the Hotel for 150 baht (5 usd - Hour) !!! Many Hotels with 1 or 2 stars give this service for free. One time it was a luxury, and extra, now we are almost in 2012 and it is a must to give it for free to the clients.

There is an overpowering stench in the hotel probably from the dirty river behind it. The place is also old and the furniture is well used. As for the toilet the shower is difficult to control with intermittent hot and cold water. The towels are old and dirty looking.

The location, the friendly staff and the design of the hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

The lack of sunbeds available most days, lack of restaurants and the breakfast was a little bland.

I rated my stay at Mercure hotel Patong, however their food seriously lacks that of other hotels in the area and far too expensive. Being more specific sometimes good sometimes very poor. Overall a very nice hotel which are few and far between in the Patong area

again food, but not much else apart from the walk to the main area of Patong

I find it unacceptable in tis day and age that internet is not built into the hotel cost. My business relies on me having good contact and, quite frankly, 150baht an hour is ridiculous

Excellent room and the facilities supplied in the hotel room. The pool is nice and kept clean. They also supply towel for swimmers so that's an a+ from me. I will definately use the hotel again should I visit Phuket again.

Very strong audibility! The sensation is created that in number there are no doors! It is audible drunk shouts from a corridor and footfall of feet. As it is too well audible street that does a dream absolutely not comfortable. In addition around building which doesn't allow to relax completely in number. A kind from number on the next hotel "Baubamburi" in general the disgusting! Periodically there is no hot water in number. And if water is, she flows that hot cold - not comfortably to wash, it is possible to burn. In pool very strongly smells as bleaching powder (the first time the such have faced).

Very short stay but nice. Facilities just ok. Room floor full of stains, needs cleaning. Staffs are nice.

See through window of Toilet, a problem of visiting family with kids.

Housekeeping was excellent. Tidy and clean and prompt service.

Free wifi was available only in the lobby. Which was inconvenient and annoying.

Only location is very good, closed to jungceylon mall and also closed to Patong beach

The hotel is not honest to their customer, please see my allotment: When I booked the hotel for checking in 23 Nov, the hotel send me email said my booking is a package include airport-hotel-airport free transfer and asked me to send them the flight details when it is ready. I have to update the booking to 11 Dec on 12/11 due to Bangkok flooding. The booking.com send me the email to confirm my date changing is successful, in the email, all of the hotel booking condition is exactly same as my first booking confirm email. I thought my package is still valid, because the hotel did not send me any email to say that the package is expire in the new date when I booked. But when I informed hotel my flight details on 9/12, the hotel replied me on next day to confirm the booking and tell me the airport transport is b950. After my cousin who speaks Thai called the hotel and forward the hotel's package offer email to them, a manager asked me to check the booking confirm email, he said if the 2 emails are same, he will arrange the free transport for me. I checked the emails to make sure they are exactly same and forward them to the hotel. But in the next day- the day we fly to Phuket, my cousin called the hotel to confirm the free transport will be ready for us, the manager still dodged to comply the previous offer, Just kept to tell me to call booking.com to check the condition. At last I paid the taxi by myself( only b600-650). I was very upset with the hotel's action. Please be careful when you book with this hotel.
