The pool was my most favorite aspect about my stay. The pool has a great atmosphere, great music, drink variety and bar staff were prompt! Try get a pool view room, we faced away from it and had a view of a construction site. They also worked into the night so you were able to hear them too. The room cleaning was poor, cleaning came once every 2 days regardless if we had the "make up room" sign or requested it to cleaning staff. There are also no smoking rooms at this hotel |

Hotel staff, apart from front desk staff, were above any standard I have received at any other hotel in which I have stayed, including 5 star hotels. Pool area was particularly good and I spent most days there rather than the beach. Food theme nights held at the pool area were beautiful. Front desk staff were unhelpful, sometimes rude and altogether generally unpleasant. Also, musty smell in room was at times overwhelming but it would appear this smell is common in Patong. |

The hotel told us they were overbooked for one night - but they put us up in a better hotel for that night and gave us free wifi and dinner vouchers. It also transferred us to and from the other hotel, so no issues. |

The Hotel is Nice. No professionalism in handling clients. HK Staffs not courteous. English seemed a problem at the Reception desk. They can do much better and have a better brand image, as their location, facilities and rooms are nice. |

Overall the stay at Mercure is great. The staff is helpful at all times. The room is spaciously decorated with bath tubs and the transparency into the bathroom from outside is unique. The location is quite well located besides the shopping district and pubs. Within 5mins walk, one will reach the beach side. There are mosquitoes and houseflies flying in the room. The breakfast buffet can be better enhanced with more Thai Food. |

The location of this resort is great.The setting is out of this world with three pools with full service all day. 3 of us stayed in one room it was very cramped.The whole place needs a facelift as it is looking very tired. I stayed here 12 years ago and nothing has changed. |

The rooms are quite modern and well maintained with relatively cheap room service and mini bar prices. Staff were friendly and welcoming with a smile. Mecure was in receipt of my booking for 2 x superior rooms with pool view for 13 days and also had my estimated time of arrival. Upon check-in the rooms were not ready (2hrs after official check-in time and 4 hrs after check out time) and family were forced to wait in lobby for rooms to be made. This in my view is not appropriate for a 4 STAR hotel and started our holiday with a bad first impression. Mosquito's need to be looked at around garden beds (pool area). |

Swimming and enjoying the pool view, sitting in the lobby with nice wind..friendly staff..good location The cleanliness should be improved, like the bath mat in the room, we are staying for 4 nights, but the bath mat never get change, its very dirty, and we found hair in our bed sheet, toilet smelly. And amenities in the bath room also should be added, like toothbrush is only available upon request. |

We liked the value for the money and the open plan of the hotel with pool, etc. We didn't stay in much, but the breakfast was good and the staff helped arrange anything we wanted to do. You can rent scooters right outside and walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes. Not really, we enjoyed our stay very much. |

The hotel was in an excellent posititon close to all amenities at Patong Beach, the hotel has excellent amenities, the staff provide excellent service and always have a friendly smile. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want a hotel in a great location and priced very well for the facilities and service they provide. |
