Mercure Hotel Pattaya  

The staff was friendly, nice swimming pool, location okay but you need motorbike or other transport. There is parking space enough in front of hotel.

We stayed in your prestigious hotel from 30 March to 3 April. Advantages: 1. Mercure is a world renowned French chain of hotels so one expected good decor, cultured staff behavior and reception and high standard of service. The decor is good. It is a compact, neat and tastefully decorated hotel. 2. It has good swimming pool facility. 3. Being literally in the boon dogs, it provided hassle free transportation to and from the beach, very near the 'Walking Road' and area with multitude of all types of restaurants and massage parlours. This vehicle was most convenient to connect the hotel to where there is acvtivity. 4. Rooms though small and with rudimentary facilities was adequate.

Disadvantages & Inadequacies: 1. Generally the staff that includes the reception and porter had a most unhelpful and curt attitude. For example the receptionist who checked us in seemed to be fed up with her life. We checked in at about 3 pm on 30 March 2012.(She was a rather thin young Thai girl of about 27 or 28 and her name probably but not fully sure was Ms Thong). She insisted for my. Credit Card details which I informed her was already with booking.com through whom I had made the reservation. I knew I had to do no such thing except make payment at the end of our stay while checking out. However she insisted and finally made us pay on checking in the entire hotel cost. We had no choice but to accept her demand. To say the least she was loud, rude and arrogant. When I asked her for Internet password for Wi Fi connection she said we were not authorized and if we wanted to use it we would have to pay extra. On the last day I spoke to another girl at the reception who readily provided me with the ID and password which she said was free for the guests. 2. We asked the same girl who checked us in what was the best way to go back to Bangkok Airport by bus. She said to take a taxi to Bkk Airport or to the bus station. Again on our last day this nice girl arranged and booked for our pick up for bus to take us conveniently to Bkk airport. 3. For those guests who want to be close to the beach or where the fun is this hotel is poorly located. They compensate this by providing very convenient hassle free shuttle vehicle. Politeness, courtesy and friendly smile need to be inculcated in some of the grumpy staff who will give a bad name to the hotel chain.

Nice hotel. good staff. But far too expensive compared to what you get for your money. I have stayed at other hotel in Pattaya that does not cost so much was made of better standard. Hotel resort was good. Fine for a few days.

At that price. so I expect better cleaning. residues from previous guests is nothing Especially. Small rooms. and some of the smallest bathroom I've seen in a hotel in this price range. It was approx. 60 cm. from the basin to the wall. balcony. or what to call it. just room for two chairs. was not it nice to sit there when there's so little. however, you want to sit outside. do not forget to turn off the aircon, the room. otherwise the noise and care very annoying. The minibar. WOW have to be one of the most expensive in Pattaya. 500bth. for a 1/4 bottle of vodka. beer costs 120 for a 0.33 can. Water 50 Normally this has cost the hotels I have stayed at. 40-50 for beer 15-20 for water.

We like it as it is away from the noise of the main street and yet only a short walk to Second Street.

I love the pool area and the pool which is lovely to swim in ,, the food is fab as well. The bedrooms are large and the bed was so big and comfy. Only 5 min walk from second road the shops bars very well located. During my stay while at poolside the general Manager alex was there talking to his customers and came to myself and introduced his self and spoke for a few minuted which I thought was amazing . I would recommend this hotel I love it.

Only I problem the bathroom bit small and dated but lets be truthful how long to we spend in a bathroom I put up with it shower and out, Alex the general manager explained new bathrooms getting upgrADED.

Excellent hâvre de paix dans un monde devenu totalement artificiel et qui a perdu tout caractère typiquement thaï. Très bon personnel. A la réception tim et leo sont remarquables de gentillesse et d'efficacité. Jacques Varet (sera au Pulmann dans quelques jours) a su insuflé une culture culinaire de grande efficacité.

la situation geographique, le confort des chambres. les petits dejeuners. la gentillesse du personnel . Egalement le personnel ( Marmara) qui m a accompagne apres des problemes dentaires.

peut etre la cherete des chambres meme en haute saison?

Понравилось абсолютно все :-) Замечательный отель в центре, близко к торговым центрам, недалеко до walking street. Номер был на 7 этаже с видом на бассейн. Делали массаж в спа при отеле, были скидки и цены весьма приемлемы.

房间上网，每次都需要重新输入酒店提供的密码，一天内还要输入无数次，不方便。
