Millennium Resort Patong Phuket  

Most rooms are situated around an elevator, that made a banging sound every 2 minutes. Impossible to sleep! After 2 phone calls the suggested it was from the elevator! They offered us to change room, on the other side, next to the same elevator!! After explaning again, we don´t want a room close to the elevator.. We changed room, with no view (as they said) We just wanted to sleep. The view was terrible, that was what we had to look at taking a drink on the balcony. The pool in the pictures, was in the other building. Breakfast was indoors, cold. No good breakfast food, bread old. Not good at all. No walking distance to the beach.

The room was a good size with quality furnishing that made the 13 night stay very pleasant. The staff were just so friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble for any of them and they made us feel very special.

Noisy couldnt sleep at night 15 days I was there for could hear music everynight till 6am

Breakfast is not as per our expectation. We stayed at cabana room but disappointed with so many mosquitoes flying around in our room! We felt cheated of the amount of room rates we paid, it's not worth at all. I see many guest scratching from the bites of mosquitoes.. it was horrible.

Easy access to all shopping areas in the vicinity. English speaking staff.

The hotel is all about $$$$. They hold more than what you need to pay for the room in your credit card when you check in as if you will runn- off without paying them. On the day when I checked-out I had problem with my credit card because of the held amount and it took a while to rectify it. I've stayed in many 5-star hotels in the region but never encountered such a practice. Moreover, the hotel standard is not up to the 5-star rating. The hotel charges for every single thing....not a value for money hotel.

Very good location if you don't want to be right on the beach.

The room was very well appointed, especially the bed which was very comfortable. I even tried to purchase the pillows.LOL

The Breakfast buffet was appalling, although there was a large section of food items available and the staff where very polite and helpful. The quality and preparation of the food was of a very poor standard.

Rooms Noisy,Food Mediocre

No sign on main roads pointing to hotel so driver had to do 2 laps of the city. I believe internet should be free. They charge a minor fee but the system to log on and off is a major pain and on 2 occasions my 1 hour credits run out despite only using 10 minutes because when you think you have logged off the timer is running in the back ground. I have use many log in systems but this one has definitely be developed by an idiot.

Nice location as it's connected to the mall and few steps to bangla road and other shopping area. Patong beach is within walking distance about 10 minutes.

1- very poor safety there is no security at door connected to the mall or any where else. 2- there is no sink at the toilet and that sink got plugged very easily I have to call for maintenance every day.. 3- I arrived about 12 noon and they said the room is not ready so I have to wait for about 1 hour. I decided to go to the mall to have lunch and I returned after about 2 hours but the room was not ready yet and after big discussion with the front desk they managed to get me another room!!!
