Miramar Hotel  

The restaurand was always open, and the prices are affordable (of course, way higher than elsever in the city). They are building a subway (MRT) station, this will be good for the future.

There is no noise reduction. You can hear everything what the neighbours are doing. The ac is noisy, and the windows are also thin, so you will hear the noise from the street, or the buses if you have a room in the other side. Breakfast is way too expensive. Of course, far from 4 stars, but I was looking for 4 star only to have at least a 3 star quality ;) The rooms are smaller than advertised, our was quite dark thanks to the black and grey walls.

It was an adequate hotel. Fairly large clean rooms. Location in chinatown was quite good. The restaurnat staff were good and frinedly!

Following factors caused disappoint for me: No free wifi in the hotel which either is expense Staff not at all friendly and do not speak good English Location of the hotel is not at all known to the taxi or tuk tuk drivers More amenities has to be included in the high price which we pay for rooms per night

Chinese service and good locatiion

The location was excellent, close to everything. The bellboys were always ready to help And the m restaurant was great! Served us cocktails and 8 in the morning all in good fun. Prices for food good and rooms cleaned everyday. Room service within 15 minutes and so humble.

All was good, the website did make it look bigger/fancier then it actually was but I didn't really mind.

Nothing. Fair enough its close to the temples and China town but it was noisy and dusty due to construction in the streets.

Over rated as 4star! It didn't even come close to a 3star rating in our opinion. Lifts were very small. The halls were hot and musty smelling. The hotel was old and the rooms were not modern at all. The water from the shower was dripping on the side of the bath tub and onto the floor that I nearly slipped! I thought it was only our room but found my sister's room had the same problem! And it was miserable at night especially when we were looking for a place to eat, the staff pointed us somewhere you can eat on the street! So we decided to cut our stay from 3 nights to just one. The night before, staff said maybe they can refund us one night but the next day the supervisor said no refund so we lost 2 nights of paid accommodation but still happy to go elsewhere because the place was miserable! Lesson learned: don't pay for more than one night if unsure of the hotel esp the ones who are advertising as 4 Star when its not even close to being 2stars!

The Location

The Front Desk Staff. Staff by the name of SIAFON, she was so UNHELPFUL and DISRESPECT to customers. I will never recommend this Hotel, Miramar Bangkok to anyone I know. And I will tell them about how bad the experience my friends and I have went through.

The room was big.

The glasess and cups were dirty, the location is far from turistic places.

Don t have free wifi and is close to the famous street but not so close to walk there.

Nice room, hot water, have a cooler, safe, tv, good bad, air con. Gave us a free map of bangkok. The bell boy's were the most nice people from the stuff!!!

The location was pretty poor - no subway or trains (only buses), and the noise of the traffic is pretty anoying(we were on the 5th floor).they had working on the road. Non of the 12 (!!!!) texi's that we stoped and ask to take us to the hotel did know were the hotel is!!!! Only when we ask for the help of a texi driver near another hotel he told us that Miramar was 2 km away and explain us how to get there. He said that he could take us but becouse he's a "hotel texi" than it will cost us a lot. The stuff was trying to make us believe that the only way to get to all the malls was with texi that they will order for you, but the truth is that with bus number 48 or 73 you can get there in like 15-30 min(depend on traffic), the bus station is like 3-5 minutes walking from the hotel(One of the workers told us that "it is a long walk of 10 min").. INTERNET WILL COST YOU MONEY. They wanted a 2000 baht cash for deposit which we did not had..so we offer them credit card, our passport, and at last they agree to take only 500 baht, after they understood that we dont have that much money. This amount of deposit was NOT mention on their site.
